I am sure you all must know of our famous MNA cum TV personality Dr. Aamir Liaqat Hussain. For the past few months rumors have been circulating that he is a fake doctor finally I have evidence. In a detailed investigation conducted by a local newspaper ‘Ummat‘ and recently published in South Asia Tribune, some really interesting fact have indeed come forth surely worth a NAB ‘chappa’.
Dr. Aamir appears to be one of the biggest local scams of Pakistan. For the past couple years he has been the host of ‘Aalim Online‘ on Geo TV where he brings together Islamic Scholars to shed light on the religion of Islam. I have always disliked watching the show as it always appeared as a scam, a snazzy looking Dr. Aamir preaching Islam some how irritated me, but that’s just me, I have for sometime labeled his show as Jahil Online. It now appears to be entirely true. Dr. Aamir had been preaching Islam with such authority that it had the nation fooled for years including our General who has appointed him as a Minister of Religious Affairs (probably in a deal with MQM)
He has graduated from ‘Trinity College and University‘ with a Bachelors of Arts in Islamic Studies (conferred on March 17, 1995). The next degree that he allegedly pursued was a Masters of Arts in Islamic Studies (conferred on March 15, 2002) and amazingly 20 days later was awarded a doctorate, Doctor of Philosophy in Islamic Studies (conferred on April 5, 2002). All these degrees were awarded by Trinity College based out of Spain. The going rate for these ‘degrees by mail’ as published on the Trinity College website (link) is

Or a one time deal all three degrees for a bumper price of $ 850
Trinity College on its webpage claims the following slogans “providing degrees based on your previous life” and the best slogan “No Residency or Attendance is required in Spain Everything by Mail”
Dr. (Fake) Aamir Liaquat Hussain contested the National Assembly elections based on these degrees and successfully won, he stands to be disqualified for providing fake degrees to support his candidacy (which as you all recall was strictly limited to graduates). The Higher Education Commission Pakistan has also declare in a letter that Trinity College is not a authorized degree awarding university. How can it be since its just one of those online stores that awards these degrees. Check these pictures out as they sure are incriminating evidence.

Very few people know he is a minister but almost everybody knows he runs his program Aalim Online very nicely. Degrees are not all in all. I would like to ask a question from you. If his degrees are fake, what is he doing wrong to the nation? Is any person unsafe from him with his fake degrees? But let me tell you that you are spreading information regarding Trinity College & University about selling fake degrees and good for those who are searching for such type of degrees. Dear Dr. Alvi, I read this post yesterday only. I agree that all those who obtained fake or questionable degrees must be exposed to the nation. I do not agree with Mr. Imran Khan (I hope he is not the Imran Khan) that you’ve publicized Trinity College for the benefit of those who are on the look out for fake degrees. In fact you’ve done a service to all the readers. Tomorrow if we come across anyone with a degree from Trinity, we will be cautious.
Amir Online is a show one cannot really watch anymore. The histrionics are no longer tolerable. While the concept was good when it was started but Amir Liaqat took it to another direction focusing more on self promotion than anything else. And it did bear fruit. It was only when the program gained popularity that he was picked by the General-President and made a state minister.

I have not gone through all the comments and dont know whether any body els has noted this, but the thing that striked me is that all the degrees are awarded by the “Trinity College”. Just from the name it appears to be a christian college and the biggest agenda of cristians these days is to melign the name of islam . By Awarding Islmic studies degrees to such people they are giving promotion to people who are half cooked muslim scholers. Who will represent the bad image of islam.

Islam does allow women 2 work…it says in the Quran..do not prevent the female servants of Allah, Every muslim..male or female has the right 2 be successful in life..a female has a right on her own money which she has earnt either from working or by investing. Hazrat Khadijah (ra) was a businesswomen. Hazrat Aisha (ra) was a scholar. Women were allowed on the battlements as nurses etc.

Sahaba (Razi Allah unh) asked that whom will be in Junnah (paradise) He(SAW) replied; that whom follows my and quran’s instructions and that whom obeying the instructions of my present followers i.e. Sahaba razi ullah unh ajmaeen!
Now here the question raises, once MUHAMMAD (SAW)declared that only one firqa will be in heaven then whats the point to invite “SHIA & SUNNI ULAMA” together in Alim on line program, in spite of that that who is right or wrong? either “SHIA OR SUNNI”?? So when very first program of this jahil on line came on air i was just surprised to see all these jahils together who can ignore this very authentic books of hadiths of “bukhari and muslim” which i have mentioned above. I think that the murder of two Ahmadis one in Mirpur Khas and the second in Nawabshah can be directly attributed to the illogical assertions made in the so called “Aalim on line”, on 7/9/08 and call for an FIR to be registered against the personnel who gave and consented on this fatwa. I just want to appreciate the name chosen for this program. Aalim online is actually Jaahil online. It is in the Holy Quran that actual aalims are those who hold piety in them and according to this information which has been made available ( I am really thankful to this) it has been proved that he is far away from piety. Thus, he is actually Jaahil online. I hope that as a curse of God he is turned to Jahil OFFline soon. InshaAllah.
May Allah Almighty protect all of us from such Juhala. Prophet Muhammad pbuh has also once spoken of such Juhala. He said that those pseudo Ulemas (aalim) would be the WORST CREATURES under the heavens. Alhamdulillah that we see the fulfillment of this Hadith in the personaliy of Dr. Liaqat Husain.
