Controversial Images of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH)
Over the past few days a great deal of controversy is underway over a set of 12 comics published by a Danish Newspaper called Jyllands Posten, the Muslim world is abuzz with calls for boycotting all Danish products and impact has already been felt by dairy giant Aria Foods for sales having already plummeted to zero as reported by BBC.
These comical interpretations are actually an attempt to portray the image of Prophet Mohammed which has created an uproar worldwide sparking yet another attack on peaceful Muslims, in the form of an organised propaganda/assault to further irritate the Muslims. This attack technically is not a direct assault on Muslims but is being used as an irritant to entice some sort of reaction. Sadly it seems as if the Muslims continue to be pushed into a corner espcailly after 9/11 and continue to remain in the intense investigative spotlight for a good five years. Sometimes my heart screams Enough is Enough, lets try to figure out what exactly is the root cause of evil.
An open apology has been issued by the Editor in Chief of the paper.
In our opinion, the 12 drawings were sober. They were not intended to be offensive, nor were they at variance with Danish law, but they have indisputably offended many Muslims for which we apologize.
……They aren’t explicitly graphic but tend to mock the one person Muslims consider and hold very dear to their heart, if the Danish paper had no idea about the emotional attachment to this sacred figure then it I think they are so naive that someone should advise them to close shop and move on.

UPDATE 3rd March: The images that were on display for the past few days and were of intense debate have now been removed from this server in compliance with the recent Supreme Court Decision in Pakistan prohibiting all websites from displaying the controversial images.

Jafri – I thought about not uploading the images, but the point is not to hide the fact but to make poeple aware that this type of attitude is not well appreciated by Muslims.
If the via the promotion people read my comments I think we all would have achieved a small goal.
Thank you for posting these images. I was very interested to see them, so I could better understand why the Muslim community was so outraged by them. The pictures really speak for themselves in expressing the ignorance of that Danish paper.

It is rather sad that the Danish cartoonists / newspapers responsible for this for this fail to understand a very basic and essential truth –
That with Freedom comes Responsibility.
Abuse of this responsibility is a dangerous crime, and the far reaching repercussions of this irresponsibility are being felt the world over.
It is even sadder to know that the people (ir)responsible for this lack the very basic element of ‘Humanism’ . i.e. Sensitivity to another human being’s feelings – however different thier beliefs are from your own.

Freedom of expression is supposed to be utilized in a constructive way, not to promote such religious hate-mongering. I second Sadia’s point about responsibility that comes with such freedom which obviously they know nothing about.
The only lack of responsibility here is from those making excuses for death threats over a cartoon. I’m sorry, but freedom of expression does not necessarily mean only “in a constructive way” . Much of the press in thew Middle East is goverment controlled – people don’t know what freedom of expression is. Perhaps these cartoons can be constructive if they get people to start talking and stop living in fear of their lives over offending someone.
If it is a disregard of sensitivity, it still doesn’t excuse the death threats and destruction. How can you even talk about humanism or lack of it – again – threats to behead and cut off hands etc…. It is not justified at all.
This is a blatant provocation of over 1 billion muslim across the globe.These cartoon showed with shocking clarity that anti-islamism has become a socially and politically acceptable prejudice in the wild-west.

I strongly protest against the publication of these caricatures. It is repulsive how brutally they can make fun of anything that relates to Muslims in any sense. This is clearly not forgivable. Arrogance of Danish prime minister is hideous. Pakistanis, like other Saudis and Kuwaitis, should ban Danish products. It is only because Muslims have been lame and weak specially the governments that they don’t take any strict measures against such acts. Pakistani government has not yet announced any ban on Danish products unlike, Saudi Arabia. It is time that should stand as true muslims and register our protest in all possible ways. It has been too long and too much, first it was against quran, in Iraq and now our prophet. Allah has promised to protect his book, we owe too much to this book, it has been a blessing for muslims an ultimate guide but alas too little was done to stop those acts. Now it was our prophet. Prophet Muhammad spent his nights crying for his ummah, to free them from hell fire, he begged forgiveness for his ummah and only because of his prayers that all muslims will be forgiven at last on dooms day. We must not just sit and let it pass; we have been too insensitive about our religion. It’s not a matter of shame for us to be what we are, we should wake up and protect what is sacred.
I don’t like the parts in your holy book which talk about killing infidels. It hurts my emotions. And probably that of a lot of others. Will you remove those parts and issue an apology to me and other infidels?
Those pictures are all over the Internet and everybody could do their own cartoon and publish it on the Internet, happy to be able to offend so many people with so little effort.
Mabie the paper got the result they wanted. If they want the danish people to fear muslims and for Denmark to close their borders to muslims, could be they are well on their way.
I do know that there are forces that like confrontation, that do want to make people belive that it is muslims against us or vice versa. This is a soft spot, and it is going to be used.

I am afraid that in the end all this will end up in justifying a war, mabie the third world war.
I do hope enough people on both sides are able to keep their calm and distanse not to let this happen and that they do communicate their opinion.
Intereseting dialogue. I am Christian. I go to worship God/Jesus every Sunday. I pray every day.
That being said, what others say about Jesus, how they depict him, what they think of him… that’s their business. I certainlly wouldn’t consider a drawing a “blatant provocation” of 2+ Billion Christians. I think that’s a bit strong. But, disagreement and varied opinions are part of being human and being free (in my opinion – : ) ).

Wait a minute, i found this picture humorous. It seems the world is too occupied with the idea of religion.
It appears, after reading the comments posted here by muslims, that i was right in assessing most muslims as IDIOTs. The cartoons that were posted were not only provocatively funny, some of them were provocatively true. That appears to offend alot of fools, BEcause they have been program to ignor the obvious. That without free speech all U have a totalitarian (no right to disagree) goverment, religious or otherwise. U would realize what I have just said is true, EXcept most of U come from these types of goverments, and they have not only brainwashed U into believing its the right way, but the only way. U haven’t realized it benefits THEM (that goverment) to have to believe that way, not U. You’ll do anything in the name of, well, U proved it here. Death to us infidels if we don’t agree with U. Abid – I was in dilemma if I should actually publish these cartoons, but in the end i reasond that my intention is not to take part in the promotion but getting the message across to people who want to better understand Muslims. a.) You have treaties with some “pagans” and are at war with other “pagans”.
b.) For now, don’t attack the pagans you have allied with.

just in short that treaty was b/w pagans and Prophet(SAW) and His companions,those who were in agreement with Muhammad(SAW) will not be in state of war(009.001)
-They are free to do anything and have fun in four months,and FYI these four months (Muharram,Rajab,Dhu al-Qa’dah and Dhu al-Hijjah) and Muslims are asked NOT to fight in these sacred months.

Adnan, I have seen the cartoons. The 12 which were actually published and another 3 which the Islamic world was fooled into thinking was published.
The last 3 were rather obnoxious. The actual 12 however were rather funny and mirrored how the rest of the world views Islam and its followers. A perception which the latter are sadly, not doing anything to erase by their stupid and violent actions in the last few days.
Anyway, as an atheist and a proponent of freedom of speech, I think the Danish paper had every right to publish those cartoons. I only wish the press here in India would grow the cojones to lampoon religious figures, whether Muslim, Hindu or Buddhist or whatever.

Being a muslim, according to the teachings of ISLAM,i dont believe in voilence,i never support such acts that effect or endangers the lifes or property of anyone relating to any religion,but this act has really created an iritation n disappointment in my mind.an act by a CIVILZED society(ofcourse so called),but they even dont know the basis of human rights ,i.e not to hurt the feelings of others.

I would like to reply to some commenter here about freedom of speech. As a muslim we have freedom of speech and we do believe in human freedom. However, if the speech could hurt someone feeling, this kind of freedom must not be allowed and should be aware of the consequences!! Nobody can accept if their love one is insulted directly and indirectly by any form of the act. I have freedom of speech but I could not tell to someone that his/her mother is a “bitch†and think its humorous!! I looked at each of these images here. I do think the one with the virgins is really funny and I see it as poking fun at the mislaid and much publicized idea that killing innocent people in buses and markets will somehow entitle you to rewards
and the reward being 70 virgins? (kind of sick actually). So this pokes fun at the people who believe this, not the prophet at all as I see it. The rest, I could not really understand and the comments of most of the people I assume are showing outrage at all this. A couple of things here that I wish to point out to the Non-Muslims
A lot of the educated Muslims around the world see the political side of this cartoon stuff. (Yes there are educated ones amongst us backward fools!)
There is a strong Anti-Islam sentiment in the West (For quite a few reasons) and these cartoons are another manifestation of that sentiment. Would the gentlemen publishing the cartoons care to tell us the last time they published anything remotely anti-semitic or lets say caricatures of the Christ or his Mother? Is it not true that many Europian countries have holocaust related “blasphemy” laws so anyone openly questioning the subject can, if found guilty of having said it, be lawfully punished? For evidence please remember the furore created just last month on (provocative) comments made by the Iranian President about the validity of the holocaust where every government head that mattered from London to Washington was jumping up and down condemning the Iranian President and demanding an apology from him.
It is quite clear to anyone looking at the facts objectively that it is Islam that bears the brunt of scathing attacks by the West sometimes on account of the woefully titled “War on Terror” by His Majesty George W. Bush and on other occasions on the whimsical and may I also add quite controversial “Freedom of the Press”. The fact remains that the people who matter in the West have identified Islam as the enemy and it is now an acceptable behavior pattern there to assault anything linked with Islam. The political background of the regime in Denmark and its close ties with His Majesty in Washington throw light on the arrogance with which the government of Denmark is dealing with it.
Secondly, lets look at the particular cartoons issue from a couple of angles. First, from a purely practical standpoint the timing could not have been worse. Quite clearly, the people who have published this, first in Denmark and later on in other Europian countries do not have an iota of knowledge about what is going around in the World. The kind of crisis that such an act can kick off in many parts of the world and further polarize an already polarized world is frightening. From a practical standpoint, thus, this is not Freedom of Press at its best. It is Stupid Irresponsibility at its worst.
Now lets look at the issue from a theoretical and academic standpoint. To those who say “Come on, this is just a cartoon!” if I call your father a bastard and a womanizing prick, how would you feel? Well, unless you share this opinion about your father, chances are that you will feel insulted and offended. Now hold that thought for a moment, let me make this clearer, Now I say this again about your father but I start saying it out loud and at a lot more places and to a lot more people. When you object to this statement of mine, I turn back and tell YOU that YOU are attacking MY freedom of speech.
Now here’s the problem: It is the West that refuses to accept the possibility that there might be a value system or culture in the World that may have a set of principles different from the West. You don’t have a sacred cow/ taboo in your culture (although that is an extremely controversial statement) fine by me! You do not want Islam to be your religion, absolutely! You dislike Islam and its Prophet and find Muhammad’s claims to Prophethood as ludicrous and have arguments against it that you wish to discuss with me, be my guest. But what we have here is a case of totally uncalled for slander and insult over the character and personality of a man that is revered by 1.2 billion humans in this world as the Last Prophet of God and somebody whose respect is paramount in the hearts and minds of all Muslims. I am not a particularly reverent Muslim but having looked at these cartoons, I must say that they are insulting to even the most mild-mannered Muslim.
To the point about apologies from the newspaper and government of Denmark, the apology has to come from the newspaper in clear, unequivocal terms, not due to any pressures from anyone but for an act that is clearly abhorrent to the basic tenet of respect for other people’s beliefs. The government of Denmark, in my opinion, has to look at the matter seriously, because it is the government’s duty to protect the rights of all its minorities, including Muslims.
For the Muslims, a couple of questions and then a piece of advice, would the Prophet himself have done what these violent demonstrators are doing in such a situation in many countries including my own, Pakistan? Would he have approved of such behavior? I think every Muslim knows the answer to these questions. So whoever is doing this in the name of religion and the Prophet is not doing a service to either and therefore should stop.
To the Non-Muslims about these violent demonstrations and attacks on Western centres in the Middle East, one, these rioters/ attackers do not represent the vast majority of Muslims. Two, these are quite clearly deplorable and stupid acts by fools that need to be condemned and dealt with severely, none more so than the publication of the cartoons.
PS. I am not on some crusade to spread Islam but people not belonging to Islam have very poor knowledge about the religion. Some of the comments about Islam and Women’s rights and stuff come from sheer ignorance and a blighted view of this religion.

The entire incident is portrayed as a group of artists exercising thier so called freedom of expression, but in my opinion there is a bigger game going on. Who can benift from such aoutragous and shameful acts. The personality they are trying to ridicule (curse on those people) is felt as most sacred even to muslims who do not practice the religion wholeheartedly. A few selected verses from the Quran are often misquoted to perpetuate the myth that Islam promotes violence, and exhorts its followers to kill those outside the pale of Islam.
1. Verse from Surah Taubah
The following verse from Surah Taubah is very often quoted by critics of Islam, to show that Islam promotes violence, bloodshed and brutality:
“Kill the mushriqeen (pagans, polytheists, kuffar) where ever you find them.”

2. Context of verse is during battlefield
Critics of Islam actually quote this verse out of context. In order to understand the context, we need to read from verse 1 of this surah. It says that there was a peace treaty between the Muslims and the Mushriqs (pagans) of Makkah. This treaty was violated by the Mushriqs of Makkah. A period of four months was given to the Mushriqs of Makkah to make amends. Otherwise war would be declared against them. Verse 5 of Surah Taubah says:
“But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practise regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is oft-forgiving, Most merciful.”

This verse is quoted during a battle.
3. Example of war between America and Vietnam
We know that America was once at war with Vietnam. Suppose the President of America or the General of the American Army told the American soldiers during the war: “Wherever you find the Vietnamese, kill them”. Today if I say that the American President said, “Wherever you find Vietnamese, kill them” without giving the context, I will make him sound like a butcher. But if I quote him in context, that he said it during a war, it will sound very logical, as he was trying to boost the morale of the American soldiers during the war.
4. Verse 9:5 quoted to boost morale of Muslims during battle
Similarly in Surah Taubah chapter 9 verse 5 the Quran says, “Kill the Mushriqs where ever you find them”, during a battle to boost the morale of the Muslim soldiers. What the Quran is telling Muslim soldiers is, dont be afraid during battle; wherever you find the enemies kill them.
5. Shourie jumps from verse 5 to verse 7
Arun Shourie is one of the staunchest critics of Islam in India. He quotes the same verse, Surah Taubah chapter 9 verse 5 in his book The World of Fatwahs, on page 572. After quoting verse 5 he jumps to verse 7 of Surah Taubah. Any sensible person will realise that he has skipped verse 6.
6. Surah Taubah chapter 9 verse 6 gives the answer
Surah Taubah chapter 9 verse 6 gives the answer to the allegation that Islam promotes violence, brutality and bloodshed. It says:
“If one amongst the pagans ask thee for asylum,grant it to him, so that he may hear the word of Allah; and then escort him to where he can be secure that is because they are men without knowledge.”
[Al-Quran 9:6]
The Quran not only says that a Mushriq seeking asylum during the battle should be granted refuge, but also that he should be escorted to a secure place. In the present international scenario, even a kind, peace-loving army General, during a battle, may let the enemy soldiers go free, if they want peace. But which army General will ever tell his soldiers, that if the enemy soldiers want peace during a battle, dont just let them go free, but also escort them to a place of security?
This is exactly what Allah (swt) says in the Glorious Quran to promote peace in the world

I did not wish to hurt any of your feelings because I would be the last person to do so given my background. I am a Hindu, studied in a Christian convent school, did enginering from a Sikh college and had lots and lots of Muslim friends.
Though I am not very religious I know that Hinduism never teaches to kill anyone on the basis of religion and at the end if there is a judgement day then it would be based upon a person’ s deeds(karma) and not by the GOD he believed in! It doesn’t teach to force anyone to convert to your religion!
My country India has never attacked any country in its illustrious history and we have been a symbol of tolerance. Now Hindu fundamentalist forces have also raised their heads and although they say that it is against hunderds of years of oppression from other religions, I am strictly against them too.
Religion should make lives easier for human beings and make them happier and more rational, not make them fundamentalist, intolerant and blind believers. It is good that you know that Quran so well and I agree that its verses are often misquoted out of context that gives Islam a bad name.
I know that because I have read it and discussed such things with my Muslim friends. However people who do not know the Quran do not know it. But when they hear that the so called dedicated believers of Islam also say the same violent things, the terrorists organisations and even some respected Muslim organisations reiterate the same rigid things what should they think? If you are happy wearing anything one shouldn’t have a problem. But I am against things like the fatwas that are often issued(even in India) that say that women ‘have’ to wear the burqas of face the consequences.
One more thing I would like to tell you…shamelessness is in the mind and soul and not in what ones wears, a lady wearing a burqa might be more shameless than a lady wearing a mini skirt(say)!!
When I say liberalization I would like you to come here and see how many many girls are working in big cities at par with the men. How couples work together and then come home and cook together and do all the household activities together. That in my view is true equality of sex and liberalization. What one wears by choice is not really anyone’s problem.
My only argument is that no one should be forced by anyone to wear something or live life on the terms of others, if you want to say that the Muslim woman is liberated with those abysmal literacy rates and minimal representation in the society then I cannot really say anything. One has to understand that there is a problem to be able to solve it. If one has become so conditioned to live in a Talibanistic society and is happy with it then no one can really help!!

So just from the above mentioned mistake, iam allmost sure about that it is a fake news.

Cosidering the fact that America is considered to have given liberation to women, as per the statistcs from Department of Justice, in every 3 minutes a woman is repped in Newyork alone. It is mentioned that small sexual abuses are not reported as they are so common over there.
Saudi Arabia cosidered to be a contray who opressed the women not giving them rights have the lowest rape rate in the world. You can confirm by yourself and search the sources or believe my words because I live here.
I am not saying that we muslims are the best in the world but I can say that we have the best and only true religion in the world which not only tell you to do good as other religions but also shows you the way how to achieve that good. Islam is not just a religion but a complete deen (Way of life).
If you think walking in bikini and throwing away cloths, women showing their bodies in the name of art, culture and fasion shows is women liberation then we muslims better be orthodox as we respect our women and their dignity and dont want them to be a public property.
NEXT time when you quote something against Islam get your references just by looking what many muslims are doing wrong dont blame the religion. Any translation of the Qur’an no longer retains that ‘official’ and perfect status, however it can be tremendously helpful to beginning students wanting to learn more about Islam.
We would strongly encourage those want to learn about Islam to purchase a hardcopy of the Qur’an but with the following conditions:
get one with commentary (tafseer)
make sure the tafseer is scholarly (e.g. references to reasons behind a verse, references to hadith and sunnah, etc.)
Unfortunately, the three translations presented here do NOT meet these simple conditions. To the best of our knowledge, an excellent English translation and commentary of the Qur’an is Maududi’s recently published work “The Meaning of the Qur’an”. This work took more than forty years to complete, and was published beginning in the mid to late 1980’s. We have included Maududi’s introduction to each chapter of the Qur’an, but the complete commentary is not online (yet!). Maududi’s work is superior to the three works presented here, HOWEVER please note that we are not in any way decrying the tremendous efforts of Ali, Pickthal, or Shakir. May Allah reward them all. ‘

Now as it says the quran has not been correctly translated here.. then how can u base a case on this? how is that suppose to make sense.. if the main sourse is unreliable then the person to go by it and make judgements according to it must be quite stupid!

I must say that this is the way to discuss things with people without getting angry when something is said that may not endorse your beliefs. Others may have beliefs of their own and one cannot say they all wrong and I am right! I think many people in your religion(and hardliners in other religions too) can learn this from you!

Having said that and coming back to the topic I also read the links Rohit pasted and I agree maybe Ali and co was too harsh. However I do have questions regarding the same and even 10% of what is written there is true, it is a cause of concern. Hope you would address these with equal dignity.
The basis of the religion seems to have been built on violence. Hazrat Muhammed seems to have been a dynamic and charismatic leader of a (large) group of devout followers. But because of his indefatigable clout and dominance it looks like no one had the courage to go against him and blindly follow whatever he said…
If one reads history then at some point many parts of the world including Afganistan, China and Mongolia etc. were occupied by peace loving people who worshipped Idols(the so called Pagans or Kafirs) and they were brutally annihilated to spread Islam. Nadir Shah and Chengiz Khan were prime contributors to this! Many other forms of beliefs have been wiped out. India too bore the brunt of Muslims rulers like Ghori, Ghaznavi, Mughals etc and later the Portuguese and British(who brought Christianity with them). It is another matter that even after centuries of agression we have maintained our identity.
It looks like the major foundation and following of Islam has been built upon violence and forced conversions. The holy crusades of the Christians was against unwarranted and violent propogation of Islam. Christianity has also led of lots of bloodshed but would not come close to Islam.
These are all historical facts and you can confirm them. The facts about multiple Allahs, Jehovah and their origination are also verifiable historic facts.
Then could you please tell me sister that how can a religion that has blood and death all over its base and the propogator of which though brave and powerful was involved in genocides and many other unethical activities(murder, sleeping with slaves, marrying wife of son!) be the true path to God?

I am rather late to write here but its better late then never. I would like to add my comment here so that it could be alleviation for the grievance of Muslims and condemnation for the disbelievers.
It is obvious and explicit fact that disbelievers hate the Islam since early decades. They have been engaged in conspiracies against Islam in every period. If today they speak that Muslim are bad, that is acceptable to some extent but when they will try to smear smudge on the Islam, I swear it will be the same as if they are strangling their own life. I swear, it will be renaissance of Islam and impetus for unity of Muslims. If they try to demolish Islam, I swear it will tread down the country boundaries lying between Muslims and lead them to focus on a single point of view that is to survive and save Islam.
Now, its time for the disbelievers to save their own necks because doom is coming ahead in no distant future. It will be approaching toward them in a twinkling of an eye. Its not a human, not a machine but nature itself in rage. Very stormy, very windy.

Are the cartoons of Jesus, for example, for the purpose of irritating the Christains? No. They are just that: Cartoons. It is the Muslims who take cartoons and comments as an offence worthy of a death penalty. The Muslims should learn to live in the world. Prophet Muhammad is not the property of the Muslims. The cartoonists have the right to draw whatever crap they want to draw. Just as the pope has the right to bark all he wants. It is the Muslims who should learn to stay in their limits.

Being a coward cannot be in any way linked to religion. There are many brave Muslims and there would be many coward people in other religions as well. Islam in its true sense gives equal rights to minorities to live their lives as per their religious teachings.
In Islam, Muslims consider it offensive to draw any picture of Prophet Muhammed (Peace be upon him) and these drawings were not only considered offensive but also a test of Muslims’ love and their emotional attachment to their last prophet.

ALL THESE PEOPLE WHO R DOING THESE KIND OF ACTIVITIES ARE SURELY ENIMIES OF ISLAM AND MUSLIMS AND FOR THEM A VERY HARD PUNISHMENT FROM ALLAH IN THIS WORLD AND AFTER DEATH I APPEAL TO ALL MUSLIMS TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST THEM AT LEAST RAISES THEIR VOICES SHORTLY THESE PEOPLE ARE SICK MENTLE SELFISH DEVIL MINDED AND WE SHOULD STOPPED THEMAS ALREADY U KNOW THAT THE TASK WHICH DELIGTE FROM USA TO THESE THREE COUNTREIS (NORWAY ,DENMARK, SWEDEN)THAT THESE R INVOLED IN ACTIVITIES AGAINST ISLAM .SO ALL MUSLIMS COUNTREIS MUST REALIZES THE TASK AND MUST DO AS ACTIVITIES THAT WE SAVE OUR RELIGION AND CULTURAL HERITAGE FROM THEM.JEWS ACTIVITIES IN WHICH THEY R INVOLE THROUGH THESE THREE COUNTREIS WANT TO CRUSH MUSLIMS AND THEIR RELIGION WHICH IS A TRUE HARDLE IN THEIR WAYS.THEY WANT TO CRUSH MUSLIMS THROUGH MNCs NGO,s IMF AND WORLD BANK .BESIDE THAT WE R AWARE FROM THE ACTIVITES OF JEWS BUT UNFOTUNATLY OUR PUPPET RULERS ACTIVITIES R ON THE CONSENT OF THE JEWS .IF WE WANT TO SAVE OUR RELIGOIN AND HERITAGE WE THE PEOPLE OF ISLAMIC WORLD MUST THINK SERIOUSLY.Buddism all the way , Peace , Love , be happy while you are alive , eliminate bad emotions (fear,hate etc) by doing some meditation, be in peace with yourself and everything around you ,if you dont belive what i believe no problem we can still be good friends coz we don’t judge others for what they believe , everyone has the right to believe whatever they like just don’t impose it on others coz no one has all the answers (although you might think so ).

Using the freedom of expression in such a chaotic world is a challenge now adays and when its comes to our beloved Prophet is must be even more restrictive. None on the face of earth has the right and authority to speak and carve funny and even filthy stuff about any of our Prophets.
The grade and position enjoys by our last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Musatafa (peace be upon him) is his own speciality and any one must NEVER ever me allowed to make fun of it or try to degrade it.
The entire muslim world across the globe is Muhammad’s blind follower and we can go to any extend to protect, maintain and enhance the pious image of our beloved Prophet.

It’s the same idiotic approach of agnostics/prejudiced people in media and society by which they mock Jesus and God in the name of freedom of speech.
It’s the duty for all of fellow Muslims and rest of the good non-prejudice people to peacefully protest against these offensive cartoons about prophet of Islam.
What message do these cartoons give to the world?? It’s a direct offence against Muslim culture when they portrait Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) with Knife in hand, veiled women around him or a bomb on the turban about to explode.
If it doesn’t stop right there, these kind of things get out of hand as we see the offence against Jesus, God etc in western media every day.
If you can I request you to take off these cartoons from your blog as it gets spider with search engines and in a way promote them. It is just my opinion, choice is yours.
