Important Updates: Janisar-e-PPP; Rehman Dakait and his aides were killed in Bilawal House?

Although this should be called a “conspiracy” theory until it is verified by some reliable sources, however one of the resident of Clifton has reportedly claimed to have seen Rehman Dakhit coming to Bilawal House.

It is believed Abdul Rehman Baloch alias Rehman Dakait was called in to the PPP headquarter for a meeting to discuss the appointments of Dakait’s men and killed there for the reasons need not to be mentioned.

Analyst says the resistance by Aqeel and two other Janisaran-e-PPP might have cost them their lives.

The news stories about Dakit’s rift with Zardari and Gabol give weight to this assertion which is still to be verified. The negative characters like Rehman Dakait who had killed her mother deserve no sympathy however; the CJ should take notice of his murder and formed an independent commission as investigate his murder will provide clues for the killer of Benazir Bhutto and other important political figures.

Totally agreed…if Imran Khan's party can win a single seat in next election, it will definitely be a big change.

Btw what JI has got anything to do with the religion? I don't understand.

    Aunty Unaiza,

I didn't vote for PPP and the people who voted for PPP would still vote for PPP even if they had seen with their eyes Zardari murdering rahman dakait. They would find a reason for it.

Same goes for Altaf maniacs, they ignore the murders this party has committed and the families that were devastated because of Peer Sahib.

Can any one imagine anyone running an election campaign in Karachi against MQM? or against PPP in interior Sindh?

Have you EVER been to Karachi? You can see election campaigns by every political party, every where in Karachi (…especially the notorious Jamaat-e-(non)Islami which has no political and public standing in Karachi). Don't spew bogus and mindless comments.

Secondly, ever wondered how did MQM win immediately after 1992 massacre when practically ALL active MQM "ghundas" were eliminated? Because MQM is in the people of Karachi and Hyderabad.

Thirdly, if people still vote for PPP despite how "bad" they are, perhaps they still find them better than anyone like JI, PMLN, Imran Khan, etc. Agreed?

When the anti-MQM critics resort to raves and rants, when their arguments start falling apart, when they run out of rhyme and reasons, when they start using street language and abusive phrases, when they start showing depletion of sane thinking and judgement, that is when my support for MQM strengthens further. Lets ask for Article 6 for Nawaz Sharif, Hey so called torch barriers of rule of law and constitution Mr Awab Alvi, I hope you will help me propagate this one as well 😀

Now a days Mr Nawaz Sharif and his party is quite vocal against Ex President of Pakistan for doing UNCONSTITUTIONAL acts and demanding a trial under article 6 for Ex President Musharraf for violating the constitution of Pakistan.

Nawaz Sharif and his party is now holding the torch of Free Judiciary even though Nawaz and his party attacked the Supreme court of Pakistan.

I really feel pitty for Nawaz and his party as they are the one who should be hanged for taking UNCONSTITUTIONAL decisions.

In 1998 Nawaz Sharif then Prime Minister of Pakistan made Military Courts in Sindh Province in the name of controlling Law and Order situation but the real motives were to crush MQM the Second Largest Political Party of Sindh and Third Largest of Pakistan for not supporting the 15th Amendment that makes Mr Nawaz Sharif Ameer ul Momineen.

On 17th of Feburary 1999 a Bench of NON PCO JUDGES comprises of

    Chief Justice Ajmal Mian,

    Justice Saiduzzaman Siddiqui,

    Justice Irshad Hasan Khan,

    Justice Raja Afrasiab Khan,

    Justice Mohammad Bashir Jehangiri,

    Justice Nasir Aslam Zahid,

    Justice Munawar Ahmed Mirza,

    Justice Mamoon Kazi and

    Justice Abdur Rehman Khan.

Unanimously declared the setting up of military courts

for the trial of civilians as unconstitutional and without lawful

    authority.

The Honorable Bench give the following Decision.

“We are of the view that Ordinance No XII of 1998 as amended up-to-

date in so far as it allows the establishment of military courts

for trial of civilian charged with the offences mentioned in

Section 6 and the schedule to the above ordinance are declared

Unconstitutional, without lawful authority and of no legal effect,”

According to this judgment by the 9 member NON PCO Bench, it is crystal clear that the then Prime Minister (Nawaz Sharif) and President Rafiq Tarar did conduct an Unconstitutional Act, which is declared by the Supreme Court of Pakistan as Unconstitutional and Un Lawful.( It is worth noting that Nawaz Sharif is asking for Musharraf Trial as Supreme Court of Pakistan termed 3 Nov 2007 Actions Un Constitutional and Illegal, the same Supreme Court cited on 17 Feb 1999).

So if Mr Nawaz Sharif asked the Government to try Musharraf under article 6 for doing Unconstitutional and Un Lawful Act then Mr Nawaz Sharif Did the same in 1998 and the Supreme Court comprises of NON PCO Judges gave the same Verdict against Him as well, then He Should be Try under article 6 and should be hang for doing un constitutional Act as well.

Now it is the duty of Civil Society and Lawyers Community and People of Pakistan to ask for the trial of Mr Nawaz Sharif, then Prime Minister who advised the then President Rafiq Tarar to issue an ordinance for setting up Military Courts, which was termed by the Supreme Court of Pakistan as Un Constitutional and Unlawful, Under article 6 for doing an UNCONSTITUTIONAL ACT.

Lets see the so called Civil Society and Lawyers would comes out from the fold of Punjabi Nationalism and ask for Mr Nawaz trial under Article 6 or not.

This post is a big Question Mark on the people who wants trial of Musharraf under Article 6 for doing Unconstitutional Act but not asking trial of Mr Nawaz Sharif for the same.

    Dear Baji,

I don't come from a burger family living in DHA, I come from some of the very [EX]die-hard loyals of Altaf Hussain.Have you ever heard of Patni Mohalla?

Have you ever heard of PEELEE KOTHEE? It wasn't a drawing room set up by Jamati-loosers.

Have you ever hear about Khel? It wasn't set up by PML(N) or Q or Pagara. They may be bastards in their own localities but not the bastards who have hijacked Karachi.

These two places were torture cells setup by MQM and you know who used to be the incharge of Peelee Kothee? It was your Sardar Ahmed of MQM.

Just because Altaf Hussain solely (sort of) represents Muhajirs, should you be supporting a killer? I wouldn't {Insha Allah}.

for Khaled, please call me a Jamati, an agency wala or Muslim_legee, whatever name you come up with. This is business as usual for Peer Sahib and his goons. They call every one a Jamati or Agency wala as soon as some one has a different view from Peer Kallan.

for your information Sardar khan incharge of Peeli Kothi was a Haqiqi terrorist.

Haqiqi was made by ISI as it is revealed by non other then the ISI own operatives including Khaled Khawaja in an interview with Nawaiwaqt.

it means ISI plan all the murders and Target killings in karachi.

The recent attack on Bashir Qureshi was the classic example of ISI dirty games in Karachi. The Attacker Zahid Mustafa Taifi was Haqiqi Afaq terrorist killed on the spot by the guards of Bashir Qureshi.

The real Motive is to hand over Karachi to Jehadis.

Noted Scholar and Writer of Military Inc, Ayesha Siddiqa in her interview revealed that Agencies used Jehadis elements in Karachi to eliminate MQM.

Mr Anas( Doctor aka Adnan Jamati) write what ever you like as People of Karachi knows about MQM and the work MQM done for this city, So keep writing with proxy names and pose yourself as Ex MQM worker as nobody even give any attention towards such crap.

    Sticks, stones and President Zardari

    by Fasih Ahmed

In a country of oral traditions, questioning hearsay is heresy. Institutions and individuals in Pakistan offer little by way of hard, actionable evidence especially when revealing matters of financial and moral impropriety

The president is facing “an unending procession of wild charges and fake scandals, dutifully given credence by major media organisations that somehow can’t bring themselves to declare the accusations unequivocally false.” The president is facing “an enraged right that denies the legitimacy of his presidency, that eagerly seizes on every wild rumour manufactured by the right-wing media complex.” The president is facing an opposition that “cannot be appeased” for “the truth is that the attacks on the president have no relationship to anything he is actually doing or proposing.”

Of course, this recent articulation by Paul Krugman of Barack Obama’s problems applies perfectly to our own president. The problem with Asif Ali Zardari, conventional wisdom informs us, is the fact that the perception of his alleged misdeeds has acquired mythic proportions. The legend of these alleged misdeeds that has snowballed over the last 20 years is so grand, so pervasive, so ferocious, and so widely fed without veracity that anyone else’s misdeeds, alleged or otherwise, then pale in this unreal comparison.

The opposition has no qualms siccing its dirty tricks brigade on the government and feels no shame in politicising national tragedies. When the Manawan police academy was attacked, Punjab’s then-deposed chief minister came on television and blamed the Punjab governor and Mr Zardari for the terrorist attack. He said such attacks would never have happened on his watch.

Punjab has been the scene of some of the worst terrorist attacks in our history since his provincial government was reinstated: the destruction of the Rescue 15 building, the assassination of an Islamic scholar who stood against the Taliban, and Gojra. All this happened on Shahbaz Sharif’s watch. Yet, no news channel set his post-Manawan boast to Indian music in agitprop promos to shame him, and no government/party spokesperson chose to draw political blood from these tragedies.

Mr Sharif’s party and brother are now making efforts to woo the Pakistan People’s Party voter by depicting themselves as the true legatees of Mr Zardari’s late wife, former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto. Considering that it was the last Sharif government and not the part-military, part-potato government of President Pervez Musharraf’s that forced Ms Bhutto into self-exile and threw Mr Zardari behind bars and tortured him, this is some parallel universe.

Speaking about the then government’s several kindnesses, Ms Bhutto wrote the following in her Slate.com diaries in 1997: “A witch hunt…still continues. That night of November 4, 1996, my husband was kidnapped by security agents. He was produced 48 hours later after we raised a hue and cry. For eight months he has languished in a prison cell in solitary confinement, with temperatures soaring to 48ºC. He has not been indicted in a single case so far, despite the government’s tall claims”.

She further wrote: “My mood has not improved with an unsubstantiated report that some elements wish to burn down my house in Islamabad and make it look like a short circuit.”

So is the PPP taking a high road to the PMLN’s vexatious high jinks?

Probably not willingly, because it is evident the party lacks the executory and moral capacity to unleash similarly rabid and scurrilous attacks to get even. In today’s media-based politics, this may be a fatal miscalculation. The downside of playing by the PMLN’s rules is that the resultant bloodbath would leave no politician standing and another suspension of the democratic order may then become inevitable. However, the PPP cannot be solely held responsible for saving the hard-won democratic order.

There are cultural realities, too, that make matters worse for Mr Zardari and his party’s government. In a country of oral traditions, questioning hearsay is heresy. Institutions and individuals in Pakistan offer little by way of hard, actionable evidence especially when revealing matters of financial and moral impropriety. The ratings war among cable news channels launders and sanctifies this hearsay and splenetic hypocrite after spluttering hypocrite is rolled out without dissection or dispute.

In all of this, the economy gets broken. If the Shaukat Aziz government taught us anything, it is this: the economy can survive suicide bombings, but not a sensational media trial. Like with Mr Obama, sections of the media here are also furious about the election of Mr Zardari to the nation’s highest office. This disbelief feeds into their eagerness to judge-and-jury Mr Zardari.

We have non-profit organisations here that preach about cultivating a culture of “zero tolerance” for corruption. That’s nice. How about we baby-step to there by starting with cultivating a culture of zero tolerance against hearsay? If you come at corruption from an absolutist point of view, everyone falls down. Journalists far braver than your columnist have written extensively about corruption (see the works of Ardeshir Cowasjee).

Yet, even if it is used as an excuse for abbreviating the terms of elected governments, corruption has never been a deciding factor at the polls. It is for this reason that Imran Khan is still an upcoming politician. That is not to say that there is no corruption or that corruption is kosher. Corruption in its many manifestations must be exposed and eliminated. But the where-there-is-smoke crowd may agree that sometimes corruption is just shorthand for nothing else left to lob at the government.

I thought Jamat-e-Islami was gone bankcrupt the first time MQM won election, your rhetoric tells me otherwise.

MQM died with Azeem Tariq, now its just a mafia, brain washing young boys of Karachi, who feel the need to belong to a gang, its very common in big cities. If you ever happen to visit a big city with slums.

Decent educated middle class of Muhajirs doesn't follow Altaf Hussain's cult ANY MORE. We are dont with Altaf Hussain [PERIOD].

Benazir Bhutto, was more brave than Altaf Hussain. She died for what she said. Where as Altaf Hussain (who used to claim "Jo Kahtaa hai woh kartaa hai"), is hiding under the protections of the same people who once occupied Indian SubContinent.

Why don't you ask Zardari to handover the "Chorian" of late BB, so that Peer-Kallan could put them on his hand. Imran Farooq and Saleem Shahzaad can help him.

  25. Unaiza Fatima Avatar

Don't portray as if you have ever visited Karachi. There can be better lies than this one.

MQM is most popular in educated and relatively posh or semi-posh non-slum areas of Karachi like Nazimabad, Bufferzone, North Karachi, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, F.B. Area etc.

PPP, ANP etc are more popular in slums like many goths in suburbs, Lyari and Aurangi etc.

MQM leaders, supporters, and activists get killed, but MQM lives on.

"…its just a mafia, brain washing young boys of Karachi, who feel the need to belong to a gang,"

If you are trying to portray your own environment of bringing up, I can't help you, but this is not the case with MQM. No one wants to be a part of any gang where MQM is popular. They are all educated and reasonable people.

"Benazir Bhutto, was more brave than Altaf Hussain."

Hmmm…bravery! Which century do you live in by the way? It is not about being brave, it is all about being practical. If Altaf Hussain is able to run his party from off-shore, he should remain being there. MQM will achieve nothing from his return.

"…is hiding under the protections of the same people who once occupied Indian SubContinent.

Why don’t you ask Zardari to handover the “Chorian” of late BB, so that Peer-Kallan could put them on his hand. Imran Farooq and Saleem Shahzaad can help him."

December 01, 1997 was the darkest day in the history of Pakistan?s judiciary. Two orders were issued for the constitution of benches; one by chief justice Sajjad A. Shah heading a five member bench for hearing the cases while the other by justice Saeeduzzaman Siddiqi heading a fifteen member bench to decide about the fate of Sajjad A. Shah. On December 02, two parallel courts were set up inside supreme court.

President Muhammad Rafiq Tarar had the audacity to meet chief justice Ajmal Mian in his chamber at Supreme Court and ask him not to appoint Justice Falak Sher as acting chief justice of Lahore high court as government did not like him. Chief justice declined but government went ahead and nominated a junior justice Allah Nawaz as acting chief justice.

On October 09, 1997, chief justice went to Saudi Arabia and justice Ajmal Mian was sworn as acting chief justice. Mian spilled the beans on the same day he took oath. He told the press that Sajjad A. Shah had not consulted the judges for appointment of additional judges and that a full court meeting should decide this issue. A number of Supreme Court justices gave a written request for a full court meeting to discuss press statements of chief justice Sajjad A. Shah. Seven out of eleven judges signed the request and Mian set the date of October 13 for full court meeting. Sajjad A. Shah cut short his visit and dashed back. He cancelled the meeting, shuffled the roster and sent some of the rebellious justices for sittings in Lahore and Karachi. Another request of a full court meeting signed by seven justices was filed and chief justice rejected it by announcing his decision to the press. Now the conflict between supreme court justices was open and the game was played in the press. Six justices issued a press rejoinder and for the first time openly questioned the appointment of chief justice. Shah was fighting a two front war; one against the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and second against his own rebellious judges. Shah belatedly called a full court meeting on October 17 but by that time the division among the justices was complete and all parties had crossed the point of no return.

"Don’t vote for them in elections and you will get rid of them…simple solution."

Dont vote for them… is not the solution!

Have you seen videos of MQM workers stamping votes during last elections? have you read reports of international agencies about their concerns on fairness of elections in Sindh, specially Urban Sindh?

My dear, if you don't vote for them, they will vote for themselves.

have some alternation solution in mind? please do share, our country desparately need one :(, PAKISTAN Zindabad

Your name is enough to suggest your ignorance about Karachi.

If it is not a big burden over your sanity, would you please enlighten us who voted for MQM in the election soon after the Karachi massacre orchesterated by Nawaz and gang when the entire MQM was practically "exterminated"?

And I saw those videos and honestly I could not make out if these videos were filmed in Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi or Geo studio, or whether those men were MQM workers, Jamati thugs, PML-N gangsters or journalists.

These are just media stunts to undermine the electoral power of the people of Karachi.

Long live MQM, long live Altaf Bhai…cheers.

i am afraid that how u guys so so far away from karachi can make such comments . we have heard about punjab as well that voting is being done on the cast basis not on the likeness. husbands and brother and eldres force their families to cast their vote to the person they told them they are not free to vote . and as far as karachi as concerned come and see by your selves who is doing wat and then make any comment.

"they are all naked here in the politics "

other wise why they are supporting such a corrupt government . have you seen sugar prices wat are they doing for it . you guys know only one thing that MQM is BAd .

They all are same otherwise we are not in the position where we are today .

try to be a pakistani first .

and do not criticise only one party and people who speak urdu if u have guts criticise all .

    Unaiza Fatima,

What happened to your intellect there?

Yes MQM gets votes of people of Karachi, but geting 150,000 votes is ridiculus.

Yeah go ahead and deny the bogus voting and call every body who exposes this as OUTSIDER, JAMATEE, AGENCY WALA

Get out of racist mindset, just don't worship someone if he or that group belongs to your ethnic group.

How can you practice racism and then expect others to be free from it?

What is the problem with 150,000 votes? No N.A. constituency in Karachi has less than 250,000 registered voters (most have 300,000 plus reg. voters). Do some workup before uttering non-sense and don't yourself get ridiculed.

At least I am bringing out figures and reasons. What you have at your disposal is only baseless nonsense. If you can not bring out figures, I think one might waste his/her time arguing with you.

12 – Q: Yet the MQM has the power to bring the city to its knees. One call from Altaf Hussain and the city shuts down.

A: Control of the city means [to be in control of] its development, [the authority to make] major decisions. Yes, we can call for a strike, but we don’t have real power. I was home minister, but I didn’t have any power, because there’s the ISI, the MI – the intelligence agencies – the centre and others who were actually calling the shots.
