The One Rupee Project

Can you imagine that if each one of us can donate Rs. 1 each time we do groceries, with enough one rupees collected we can potentially sponsor the education of one child

The One Rupee Project is NOT a political party, but a NON-PROFIT movement and a silent revolution to make every Pakistani citizen self-sustainable in the next 10 years. And this is only possible when all of us unite, and contribute a little from our lives everyday.

YOU can BRING the change. YOU can BE the change. And to become part of this movement, we just ask you to contribute ONE rupee a day, everyday, to make this huge task possible.

The One Rupee Project wishes to mobilize individuals, who earn reasonable income (both salaried & self employed), in a movement to support the cause of eradicating poverty in the next 10 years. The group aims to generate funds through:

Organizations: Companies that can contribute by giving The One Rupee Project, one rupee on every transaction / sale generated.

Individuals: Who are willing to pay at least one rupee every day, a total of only Rs. 365 for a year

Launch Event on 24th March – at T2F 4-6pm

The general trend of this blog has been that we never censor comments based on political or ideological point of view. But to bring a little sanity in the debate we strongly frown upon comments that are abusive, off-topic, use foul language, resort to racial attacks, use caps-locks, habitual flamers are shown the door especially those commenters who resort to ad hominem attacks are definitely deleted when caught. Simply said, if you can carry a civilized discussion then the floor is open to your hearts desire. But, we still reserve the right to delete any comment that we deem inappropriate without reason
