Today marks another sad day for Pakistan – Parveen Rehman the director of Orangi Pilot Project was assassinated in Karachi – I express my anger & frustration to literally say that Murderers, Looters & Thugs sadly outlive the Innocent, Law-abiding & Philanthropic – I curse our so called “elected” leaders
Orangi Pilot Project was a people’s financed and managed Low-Cost Sanitation Program; a Housing Program; a Basic Health and Family Planning Program; a Program of Supervised Credit for Small Family Enterprise Units; an education Program; and a Rural development Program in the nearby villages
Today Pakistan has lost a Philanthropic Legend !! My heart bleeds, Your heart bleeds, beneficiaries of the Orangi Pilot Project will also Mourn today – But do our so called elected leaders AT ALL CARE — NO –
Best they can do, is continue protecting the murderers who murdered this legend today … tomorrow morning we all will see papers full of condemnations from our President, Prime Minister, Governor, Chief Minister and even the Chief Justice to all chime in unison “Notice Lay Liya” – “We will launch and investigation” – “We will find the culprits” – each and every Pakistani knows these standardized ritualistic statements, and they also know NOTHING will ever happen, all of these fanfare politicians will come to attend her Namaz-e-Janazah, pose in front of the camera, give those glorious touching statement – but will do NOTHING – these shameless elected politicians will ensure that the crooks are NEVER found, the story will disappear, 180 millions Pakistanis will forget Parveen Rehman – who killed her? or Why did they kill her? is a mystery which will never be answered – Shame on each and every elected leader – you were elected to protect the rights of the people, not to protect your own lives and pockets.

- Peace March to Waziristan – Imran Khan risked abundant death threats yet stood openly on top of his jeep to welcome the participants, not once but dozens of times risking his life to only highlight the Drones issue and he Dared and he won big
- Policies – Ever since the Oct 30th 2011 Jalsa – every critic argued that PTI has no plan to solve the mess Pakistan is in, Imran Khan is a cricketer turned politicians with no plans, its no surprise that PTI in this last year has presented to the Public eight polices to the people of Pakistan which highlight its vision for solving Pakistans problems
- Intra-party elections – a feat NEVER accomplished by any party, to poll over 7,000,000 members this act was critiqued beyond imagination but the PTI Leadership persevered and has completed KPK, nearly completed Punjab, while Sindh and Balochistan are just around the corner – they aimed to set a good example of party democracy in Pakistan and Masha’Allah will win Big
Today in Peshawar awaits a massive & a wet ground looms ahead, the stakes are high – a large crowd at this HUGE ground (Insha’Allah) will rubber stamp the start of PTI’s Tsunami to bring forth a NAYA PAKISTAN
To me this is the art of leadership – a leader gives the vision and then inspires his team to step up to the plate to realize this dream - One example after another will show the people of Pakistan that Imran Khan has set his vision on a better Pakistan and one example after another will repeatedly show that he is the leader that Pakistan needs – no more hand-me-down traditional corrupt leaders – we need a genuine change and a leader who means well for Pakistan – Others just cheat and try to look big

Tax Amnesty Bill is a Scam
Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf Imran Khan termed the Tax Amnesty Bill a scam and said he will go to the Supreme Court if the bill is approved by the parliament. Imran Khan made these remarks while addressing a press conference in Islamabad. He blamed that the Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz had tax evaders within their rank and file.

PML & MQM have again helped PPP & each other pass the Tax Amnesty Bill – allowing Parliamentarian Tax evaders to get an easy sneak pass ECP into Elections by paying 40,000
“It was almost binned because of opposition from two key political parties, the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM). But then, according to sources, they softened their stance to appease urban voters, who are expected to be the main beneficiaries”
This has nothing to do with “appeasing urban voters” its a strategy by the MukMuka parties helping their top looters an opportunity to contest the elections and loot us all over again

PML Photoshops Massive Crowds for Showbaz Sharif
In another round of PML Photoshop Bloopers (first & second) it was hilarious to spot a horrid example where PML Media Cell chooses to photoshop people into pictures to show a packed audience. The image was published on 6th March 2013 on two leading newspapers Express News and NawaiWaqt on their front pages – this is probably not the first time they have obliged the PML party with fake imagery to ego-massage their false sense of popularity
Two aspects of the image must be carefully observed
- A section of crowd facing towards another direction
- The biggest dead giveaway is a strip of crowd shurken down to fill a void of empty space – labelled as “Microscopic People”
One wonders with PML boasting itself to be a popular party – seems like its struggling to fill crowds at its rallies
Horse Trading in Full Swing at Raiwind Stables
For FIVE years horses were on one side of the fence – in preparation for the next five years the horses are slowly stumbling over the fence to be with the NEW OWNERS at Raiwind horse stables
Best part is that it slowly seems that the Horse Stables are getting full at Raiwind – its always been “fun collecting” but when they “start demanding” that is when we shall start seeing another Deja Vu of the PPP slogan “Democracy is the best revenge”
Truly I’m quite happy to see this horse trading circus. Sharif’s might be ecstatic “playing politics” but its the greedy form of politics that is being exposed – trading in, the same political behemoths that have individually destroyed Pakistan for the past 25 years to take them for another tenure – could not be more criminal
It shall be the power of EACH VOTER to see if he realizes that these are the exact same people that have destroyed Pakistan since literally 1988 – PPP has ruled for about 14 years and PML for 17 years (CM & PM) - for a combined total of 31 years – is an experiment that needs to be exposed. A Crime to go to School in Pakistan
A rant I posted on Facebook on the Tuesday morning as I was trying to drop my kids to school – negotiating Container barricades around Bilawal House, we ducked dodged and sneaked past one barricade only to be blocked off by another:
It is a crime to go to school in the 1-km vicinity of Bilawal House Karachi where extensive container security keeps children out of school while Zardari-Bhutto royalty resides in
Heck it is a crime that my kids vocabulary now includes Bomb Blast & Strike as the only reason why school is off
Shame on us for electing these idiots and then all ready & full of excuses to re-elect them again
- who cares if the children go to school – Bilawal Bhutto studies in UK
- who cares if my children don’t have a hospital to go to when sick – Nawaz Sharif gets his medical treatment in the UK
- who cares if Karachi had another strike / business closure – MQM, ANP, PPP make money collecting bhatta
I don’t think hoping for a better future for our children matters 180 million can go to hell because 0.001% have it all set for their own prosperity & well being
Karachi Airport to get a US Army Command Center and not a Narcotic Cell
The U.S. Army has published a Request for Proposal for the Design and Build of a Tactical Command and Operations Center (TCOC) compound at the Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, Pakistan – The proposal identifies that it is being built for the Pakistan Customs & Drug Enforcement Cell, the two 2-story buildings proposed near the airport will be for the offices and interrogation/detention cell to be built within 365 days at an estimated cost of ~$ 2,000,000
What must be of serious concern for Pakistan is to note that its not a general US development fund sponsoring this activity but takes place under the US Army, which is actively involved in various military activities in Pakistan to now sponsor the development of an outpost near the airport allowing it strategic positioning for possible movement of US Forces in and out of Karachi.
The US Embassy issued a press release stating “The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers only role is to oversee the award of the contract for the project to a private construction firm and supervise its implementation. No U.S. military or other USG personnel will be involved in the actual construction, operation, or staffing of this center, which will be exclusively owned and operated by the Government of Pakistan.“
Somehow turbulent & deceptive relationships with the United States of America makes Pakistanis second guess their actual intentions moving away from public deceptive posturing ranging from consistent Drone attacks, to the much controversial Raymond Davis issue and quite many other strategic invasion into the Sovereignty of Pakistan, make Pakistanis seriously doubt most of their activities. A US Army funded project, being built adjacent to a sensitive location, is a controversy that the US Govt should have done without, but it continues to do so.
Despite the apparent PR effort by the US Embassy to try and diffuse the controversy, Pakistani will continue to eye this project with serious concern, if its actually Drugs they are after, common sense would urged them to focus on the actual drug trade route that mostly originates along the 2,430 km long Pakistan-Afghanistan which by UNODC estimates accounts for 40% of drug smuggling route into Pakistan. The Karachi Airport then is the least of our concern … there is definitely a something more to what they merely dont want us to sniff into.
