Happy Birthday – Zaafir

A shout out to my son Zaafir who celebrated his 3rd birthday in amazing style this past week, the theme was Thomas the Tank Engine where everything from the invitation cards, decorations and even the waiters serving the food were dressed as train conductors, everything was based on the cartoon character. We even had a small train fully painted in typical Thomas colors and it took the kids around the driveway.

To say the least he had a ball, as you can see him devouring this candy floss, the best part was gift opening session where it was difficult for him to decide which gift was his favourite as by the time he appreciated the first gift, the next one opening up had his undivided attention, it was fun to see the excitement and the sparkle in his eye. The party was a huge success with over 80 kids showing up to enjoy the festivities. Credit for all the creativity and the entire idea goes out to my wife Sadiqa (though I tease her that without my Adobe Illustrator designing skills she could not have done much), I’m pushing her to become a birthday party planner, lets see how she takes it.
