236 years of US Military Conquest in 90 seconds

Have you ever wondered which American Presidents and political parties were responsible for America’s deadliest wars? Republicans, Democrats, or the Founding Fathers? This 90 second illustration easily answers all our question by actually illustrating the history of American conflict from the Revolutionary War to Iraq. It gives a new meaning to the term we call United States of America, Adolf Hitler and other modern day rulers can easily be dwarfed by the Military interventions by the United States of America since its inception in 1770.

They had the cold-heart to bomb Hiroshima and Nagasaki within a span of 3 days (Aug 6, 1947 & Aug 9, 1947) in those days there was no instantaneous email to convey a message of surrender which could have taken a week by postal mail. A crippling blow to Japan but at the expense on millions of innocent lives. Did I hear some one say Terrorism?

Another interesting map is the Imperial History which also deserves a look.

I didn’t get your point at all. So this shows the US military casualties over its history. So what? How does that dwarf Adolf Hitler? Or even be considered imperialistic (individual wars listed sure were, but other wars weren’t)?

The nuclear bombing of Japan is a complicated topic which I don’t even want to get into, but do read some Word War II history.

The comparison between Hitler and the US seems oddly…. humbling and shameful when we consider that we are an ally in this current war on terror.

    TM,
    Yes, what is your point?
    What about Pearl Harbor?
Perhaps you should read some United States history.
Are you equating Adloph Hitler, the Holocaust with the United States?
Ummmmm pretty ridiculous if you are.

Flap, Pearl Harbor was replied more severely, violently and shamelessly by US so better don’t come up with that accident as an excuse.

Sorry to have confused the map with distracting comments on hitler and WWII. My take on this issue is a little different…

The United States is after other countries of the world to control the nuclear bomb, yet they stand accused to have been the only country to have used it against humanity. Such was the extent of the cold-hearted brutality that they did not drop ONE bomb but TWO over a period of three days. Killing millions, yet they have to balls to hunt down terrorist WMD in Iraq and Iran.

Reference to Hitler was bascially in the same context, where I felt the world blames Hitler for his cold-hearted brutality, my reaction is \”is the US any differnet\” espcailly considering the latest reports of over 600,000 deaths (Which the US Govt denies as being a study error)

I apologize to have been distracted from the topic while making my original post.

history has shown us that japan was on the verge of surrendering anyway. the us bombed them twice when there was no need for it.
