ReviewMe !!

Review Me

Review Me is a website which pays bloggers for reviewing websites, at its initial beta launch a few weeks, it has finally resurfaced opening their doors for a full public launch, it appears ReviewMe has made a strategic move to require all bloggers who participate in the program to issue a disclaimer openly showing that the post has been sponsored.

For the past many years the money on blogs was predominantly generated through ad-clicks on Google AdSense and other services, which are quite unpredictable and worked brilliantly for the high-traffic websites, which not many of us have. In this equation the small to medium sized blog pages took the brunt of the hit, they displayed more and in return were generally scavenging for pennies.

Review Me does not immediately accept all blogs and it depends upon blog statistics, taking into account Alexa & Technorati ranking amongst a few others. Once accepted the potential payout per posts can range from anywhere between $20 and $200, which can be some handy cash even if you start from the lowest rung in the food chain

With a very under-developed blogging scene in Pakistan, this concept has the potential to really be a booster for all Pakistani bloggers. Bloggers start your engines and rake in that cash which you very rightly deserve.
This remains a ReviewMe Sponsored Post

Asad – Yes I have signed up for Review Me.

The only quirk I see is that the advertiser needs to select your blog and then you can write a post. One would have to wait for the blessed day when an advertiser does finally choose a Pakistani centric blog 😉

I don’t know whether I should sign up or not.. I fully realize how annoying advertisements can be on a site and how they are also necessary for some for hosting, etc costs. It is often a difficult task to strike the fine balance where you earn and don’t annoy the reader at the same time.

Ah well, if it works for you… 😉

Asad you have a very valid point, but the only reason I signed up with Review Me is that the review is at my discretion, I can make a positive or negative post I simply have to give an honest response. Money should never sway ones judgement, even my post about Review Me was genuine as I truly feel this concept should be exploited further by Pakistani Bloggers, if the money flows through blogging then it has a better chance of attracting more users / bloggers / readers and eventually become main stream in the lives of Pakistanis even further.

Pakistani bloggers are handicapped as they are unable to accept Pay-pal payments, and Review Me offers to send the money via check also
