As some of the readers of my blog and those in the Pakistani blogoshpere may well know, Omer Alvie and I have been involved in a number of projects together. It started from raising funds for earthquake victims at Help-Pakistan.com, followed by the Don’t Block the Blog and the subsequent launch of Bloggers.Pakistan, with a few more smaller projects in between.
During our usual late night chat sessions, we would frequently discuss the need for a site that would provide us with original, relevant and topical content in so far as the issues that interest us. Once again, rather than hunt a round to find that fit the bill, we decided to create it on our own. The site is called Quinge.
The aim with this site is to highlight choice articles from various sources on the net. In addition to creating our own original Podcast interviews and articles. It is a mix of serious and non-serious pieces, which by the way, is usually our preference for any site.
In order for this project to be realized, we co-founded this project with Farid Alvie (Omer Alvie’s brother) primarily because he is an experienced writer/editor and former journalist, and he possess a wicked sense of humour which is big plus. Farid by the way, is the interviewer for all of our current podcasts.
So without much further ado, ladies and gentlemen, I present:
Three Podcasts have been uploaded onto the site, do check them out
