Did I get it straight? BB’s supporters start demos against the emergency much later than everyone else. Demos so far had been peaceful and no one had been killed. BB’s supporters introduce shooting at police stations and at policemen as vulgar terrorists, and 2 kids get killed as a result?

Meanwhile at Punjab University between 2000 and 2500 students stage a peaceful, non-party demo against IJT’s betrayal of Khan. See »»PU witnesses largest ever anti-jamiat protests. Metroblogging Lahore, Nov. 15, 2007.

Meanwhile President COAS Musharraf decides to be just president but gives gives President Musharraf control over the emergency. And President Musharraf disolves the assembly and nominates the president of Senate, Soomro, interim prime minister. I googled Soomro and found: I want a Merc: Soomro by Zulfiqar Ghuman – Daily Times, May 4, 2006. Has he done anything else of note while president of the Senate?
