Mr. Muneer A. Malik
Former President Supreme Court Bar Association
Subject: A Small Note of Gratitude
Sir,
We take this opportunity to thank you from the bottom our hearts for being a real life hero for Pakistan. We had only read about people of your stature in history books; people who had the courage to change the course of history, who had the integrity to defy the pharaohs of their times, who did the right thing at the right time without fear or favor.
We have faced many bone crushing defeats as a nation but never lost hope and the confidence that we have good people like your honorable self in this nation. We only did not know their names and did not recognize their faces. Thank you for letting us know your name and recognize your face.
How could we fail as a nation when there are upright people like your honored and loved self among our midst? Your stand and untiring struggle has given us the courage to defy tyranny.
We assure you of our commitment to carry this torch forward. God may help us too to make the right choices in life.
God may bless you and your generations with His favors in this world and the world to come.
Sincerely,
Citizens of Pakistan

@TeethMaestro
I appericiate your untiring efforts in providing us up-to-date information about the heros of this country.
With regards to showing gratitude to these honorable judges I would request you if possible to set up fund where non resident Pakistanis can send money via Paypal and/or methods. This fund can be used to send flowers and any financial support for the people who are part of this struggle.
Thanks again.
Regards

TM:
1. Please remove “financial support” from the post. Judges are still treated as rightful judiciary, with corresponding dignity. The phrase “fin support” does not go with that.
It may sound unrealistic to some readers but that’s how the judges see it themselves and we need to respect that.
2. The letter was from a family and this was also sent to every Judge of Sind High Court.
Thank you Redsnapper – I stand corrected on my statement and have edited it out. I too remain fully supportive of the stand, they remain as our respectable judges
A great initiative TM. Please receive my heartfelt admiration for what you are projecting through this blog; A glimpse of a rising Pakistan and the one’s who can rightly be called heroes of a transforming Pakistan.
Cheers!
I dont have words to express my feelings. I am feeling a deep silent rage towards Pakistan army which has ganag-r@ped the motherland. Musharraf treated this army as his personal army and destroyed every institution in the county.
Napak army is a a cancer afflicting Pakistan.
