It is without doubt that an entire nation actually sheds a tear on the death of Benazir Bhutto, she was a hero to many, and rival to others, but the bottom line is that she was a brave leader of our nation and her struggles for democracy will not go unremembered. May Her Soul Rest in Peace.
In an attempt to provide the online community and opportunity to offer their condolences to the grieving family and literally thousands of Peoples Party supporters I would like to initiate this condolence book for Benazir Bhutto. I will make it my own responsibility to present the entire list to the offices of the Pakistan Peoples Party to be attached with the main condolence book. Please Pay your respects below

You fought the good fight, may god rest your soul. Thank you
Saddened and shocked that another exceptional leader is a victim of such violence. I mourn her loss and I extend my condolences to her family.
Today I am in pain, I am in anger ad my heart bleeds for Benair Bhutto and her family and for my beloved Pakistan.
Whether one agreed with the political philosophy of BB or not, she was a brave and courageous daughter of Pakistan, who despite failings espoused a liberal vision for Pakistan and its people. She was a national leader of stature and today Pakistan has lost a person who was fighting the dark forces that are threatening to engulf Pakistan, a Pakistan where the majority believe in a Pakistan which is tolerant and open.
Benazir we will miss you for in your death, a hope seems to have been extinguished. May Allah rest her soul in peace.
The heart bleeds and the heart mourns. May the people responsible for this crime pay and may they pay dearly. I hope that they pay for their sins in this world.
what can you expect? Benazir Bhutto has only given blood shed to Pakistan. So many people were killed and torchered in her government just because they were muhajir’s (immigrants). thousands of people are killed every single day in Pakistan just because of there so called democratic system and the same system gave them such deaths .
I do not think today is the day we should divulge in character assassinations. It is enough to consume that a Mother of three, a political figure of great strength in her country and someone who passionately believed in her path and had very clear and motivated ideas for her countries future was brutally murdered by cowards who dare call themselves men. No one should be extinguished in such a way.
Today we have lost a voice of great strength.. may she rest in peace.
We are destroyed! I weep for you Benazir
i feel sad and i am still in shock.i didnt like her politics but i do believe that she had a very large support among pakistani people.i grew up with her politics around me and i feel very strange that my kids will not know of her as one of the most powerful leader of her times.just like i didnt see any of her fathers times of politics.
The first woman prime minister and one of the most popular leaders the country has ever produced been assassinated. It is time for all citizens, including those like me who were not fans, to pay respect and show that we are one as a nation at times like these
Well, as they say in Urdu… “JEsse Karne, wese bharne”… with the death of great people like Hakeem Muhammad Syed, and recently Gulgee, the death of Benazir pales in comparison to the deaths of those innocent people.. well.. she died while nearly bankrupting our country.. so i’m amazed that people are nutty enough to actually shed tears for her.. its better to shed tears for those 30+ people who died in vain today.. BB, well she had it coming..
I don’t know how i can express my feelings right now. I am so shocked to find out that she was no more. I still can’t believe the fact that she is no more . Words aren’t enough to express the sorrow i feel. We have lost a great charismatic leader who was the last scion of a political dynasty. May her soul rest in peace.
I am really disappointed on her death.
No words can express the anger and sorrow that i have in my heart in right now.
May Allah bless her and give her a safe place in heaven. Amen
the good ones go allways too early – but murder is never the right way.
i feel so sorry with the family and all the friends of Benazir Bhutto. i am german and don´t know very much about her, but she was a good and strong woman, a shining light for all, who believe in her politics. one of this kind of strong women from the last century, who give hope to the people in their country. i hope she will rest in peace and her name will be unforgotten. (i read it in the news today and want to give my respect to her and the people of pakistan)
” To HIM we return”…Allah bless her and all others who went unknown with peace and give their families the courage to cope with the loss.
When someone is dead, s/he can not do anything for her/him…just like if someone is lying unconscious what do we do as humans…we run to help irrespective of caste, color, religion..or even if we are opposed to their tactics in life.
We will have enough time to play politics and vent our frustrations later on.
Prayers for my country and everyone living there or in any country.
When Madame Bhutto returned I, an American, was thrilled by the possibility of a new government; but my heart also iced with fear for her. My premonition has been fulfilled, and I am brokenhearted.
Where can I find a list of the dead and injured, not only from the attack, but from the ensuing trouble?
Well, i pay tribute to Benazir Bhutto and to all who lost their life. This year 2007 is the worst year of pakistan history. God bless us and Give our politician to tolerate each other otherwise future looks miserable.

Mardud Millat, Gen Zina strikes again.
I woke up to this terrible news on the Radio today. I am so upset… She was a ‘good’ girl – one of the most familiar and well-known figures of the world, and the world will be a lesser place for her absence… May she sleep tight.
All My Love.

“…imagine no religion…”
It’s sad when hope and wisdom are taken by people who offer neither.
Politics is for the all people and that some feel it’s only for the them is inane.
Your family must be heart broken.
I am sad. Many more lives were lost today for no reason. BB was a brave woman. No one deserves to die like that. Unfortunately in Pakistan, the country created in the name of Islam, life is worthless. We have a tradition to kill our heroes. Innocent people are killed in the name of religion & ethnicity. We killed Hakim Sayeed. BB was never a perfect person but she was a brave woman. Is any one thinking? Who are these people on killing spree? These Suicide bombers, where are they coming from? Can we even protect our own families from them? Or may be its too late. Pakistan is another Afghanistan in making.
Strong opponent of her political views, but never imagined such a tragic incident,,definitely a sad day for Pakistan and Pakistanis.
We are witnessing a national level retaliation, condemnation, consolation, people from all provinces have united, government is humbled, U may not have been ZAB, but u have started something new, a Benazir Pakistan…
It is a sad day for Pakistan and for the world. The news of her death shook me. My wish for the people for Pakistan is one of peace and unity.
But now, weep for her and for her family.

As an American, I am so saddened to hear of the murder of ex-PM Bhutto. Our sympathy for her family, friends and for the people of Pakistan who loved her.
What cowards would conjure up such an attack on a woman who was trying to help her people.
Our prayers are with you.
Its a Great Loss.
May God Bless her soul and rest her in eternal peace.
I am alongwith my Nation, stunned over her loss. I may not admire all her policies but I was a great admirer for taking our politics into more mature thoughts and process.
Benazir your death has put us a decade behind in democratic scene, we Grieve for you.
We all have a right of difference of opinion and all have a right to LIVE.
hello everyone,
we send our deepest sympathies from far away in portland, oregon. we hope that tolerance will prevail, and higher ideals for all.
many blessings,

Benazir death in her assasination today shows how easy it is to get rid of political opponents. First she was shot by precision and then followed up by a blast.
Her body flown by an army aircraft to Larkana .The west including major so called European and American democracies have failed to deliver as far dealing with Pakistan ARMY ( General Musharraf) is concerned. For them it does not matter if today it is Bhutto or tommorrow some other political leader. For them it is their long term strategic interests of supporting military dictators and government not only in Asia, Africa, Middle-East and South America. The total resources of the state were being put a restraining the Judiciary, and locking up Judges,Lawyers, activists and political opponents.
When I was four years old, I told my parents that I wanted to attend her political rally. She had won the heart of a four year child then, and has taken the heart of the country with her when she left. I can only hope that Pakistan’s future is as bright as she had wanted and worked for. Let’s all hope for that.
This is the kind of news that hits with an almost physical punch: a brave person has died, in trying to make a better place for her people. Many alongside her died as well.
Now you must keep your hope, and Benazir’s voice, alive.
Tis a loss as human being, a mother, daughter and wife. However, she lived by the sword and so died by it. She was venal and corrupt politician as all 3rd world politicians are. She was no martyr for democracy or the West. John Bolton , US UN Ambassador, said the best “She’s chairperson for life of her party. What kind of democracy?”
The world has lost another hero, a true peacemaker who had the good of her people and of the world in her heart. May God welcome her to her new home.

My prayers go with her. Only low life cowards would kill a wonderful woman like her. I thought Pakistan was a developed nation but I see they are still in the dark
ages. My thoughts are with her family and friends. I pray they find the ones that
are responsible for this evil action. Justice must win.
I will always be proud, as a Pakistani woman, of Benazir. We Pakistanis must find courage and strength to go on. We must not forget that even in our darkest hours, we have always found brave and courageous people amongst us.
We will miss you, Benazir. May your dream for a progressive, democratic Pakistan come true.
It is a very sad day,My condolences to Benazir Bhutto’s family and PPP.
May ALLAH rest her soul.
Benazir symbolized a lot of things, both positive and negative, to us Pakistanis who grew up in the 90s. Charismatic and well educated, on the positive side, she represented hope and courage; however, on the negative side, the unprecendented corruption and murderous looting that marked her tenure in government was absolute hell for the so called “mohajirs” (people–and their children born in Pakistan–who migrated from India during or after the Partition in 1947.
As corrput as she was, for a country with no real political leadership she remained a beacon of hope. And it is this lost hope that I mourn today.
Deepest condolences and fervent hopes for peace and free will.
Benazir’s assassination is an attack on the integrity of Pakistan.
May God forgive Benazir Bhutto and give the bereaved family the patience to bear her loss.
She was a national leader and all of Pakistan is united in grieving for her.
God bless her soul. My deepest sympathy to those who mourn her death.
May peace and real democracy be yours Pakistan!
I am so saddened by this loss. This woman of such great strength and zeal who for all else believed in her country and in her desire to bring it into a modern world. Benazir Bhutto died for her country, died fighting for a better way, died believing Pakistan could be a shining star. To the men who couldn’t handle it, may swift winds come your way, you cannot stop change.
My condolences to her immediate family and the people of Pakistan. My wife and I are saddened by this tragic loss of your country’s ex PM and a world renowned politician. We are from Malaysia and when we heard the news yesterday we were shocked and angry that this happened to her. She was a brave woman to take the risks for the return of democracy to Pakistan. It is a shame that the coward blew himself up and did not dare face the people for the heinous crime that he commited. Once again accept our heartfelt condolences.
may her courageous soul rest in peace and let it be a lesson to those with ears and hearts to hear and feel~ that her work must continue …..
r there enough words in the dictionary to describe the pain v r feeling?? to describe our anguish and frustration? to describe the helplessness that v feel now? to desribe the hopelessness that v feel ?
no…v feeel all that and so much more…
may the daughter of bhutto..

Benazir Bhutto rest in peace..may god have mercy on her and shower his blessings on her…
YOu were brave, you were courageous, you fought your battles like a soldier and you died like a soldier, with a minute of silence i pay my respect to you, o gallant soldier rest yourself in peace. A tear slides down my cheek..let there be peace.
My deepest condolences to the people of Pakistan and her family.
She was a symbol of democracy.
This is the same BB who was being cursed by many in past now all of sudden she become heroin. Amazing World and Amazing hypocrisy.
BTW, she was not the only one who died yesterday. Other who lost their lives were also Pakistanis and father, mother, son or daughter of many but since they were ORDINARY PAKISTANIS rather influential like BB, thus they are not worthy at all.
It is a sad day! With all the political differences and disputes, she was a beloved leader of the Pakistani people. She will certainly be missed. She gave her life while standing by her principles of tolerance and nurturing of civilized ideas. May Allah have mercy on her soul and other unfortunate people who died in the blast. May Allah have mercy on the people of Pakistan.

AL qaeda has accepted responsibility. Even if they had not accepted the finger was pointing there. Now please also think of other victims who were poor people and who may have nothing in Banks for the bereaved. Why the property is being gutted and why innocent people are being killed? Can someone answer?
“From Allah we come and to Allah we return”. My condolences to the peace loving citizens of Pakistan and the late BB’s family. May all of you find strength and keep the faith in these trying times. I am very sad to see that the value of a human’s life is becoming cheaper and cheaper by the day..
It is indeed a tragedy. On humanitarian grounds. As a human being, as a leader in her own right, as a mother of three, as a former prime minister her death must be mourned.
However, what is ever more tragic is the way her party members have been given a license to loot, plunder and vandalize. 150 vehicles have been gutted in Karachi alone, at least 5 lives have been lost. Life in the entire country has been brought to a standstill. People are stranded. For what?
What good is a leader who fails to educate and discipline her/his disciples. What principles do our leaders stand for except selfish self interest. What is the point of showing clout out on the streets? Except to appease their egos.
Leader’s teachings and principles remain even after he/she is gone and provide a guiding light to the masses. What teachings or principles or even a sorry excuse for a mandate have our leaders left behind?
They have just shown irresponsibility and a lack of concern for others.
Leadership or no leadership, the common man fails to benefit
