BB ‘wills’ Bilawal as Chair & Zardari as Co-Chair

With all due respect for the slain leader of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto, today’s revelation that Bilawal Zardari was proposed by BB as being nominated as Chairman of PPP while his father Asif Ali Zardari would be his Co-Chairman just goes to prove that Pakistan People’s Party runs on non-egalitarian democratic nominations. It is no surprise considering the party itself never conducted democratic elections within the cadre and instead Benazir upon her return to Pakistan got herself appointed as Life Chairperson of her party.

I shudder at the simple thought that Asif Ali Zardari might take control of the party, his previous years as corruption weren’t enough for us that we have to see him return to the throne yet again. It is quite apparent that his son Bilawal Zardari would have little objection or say in what his father proposes and does. I can only suspect that this will deepen the rift within the Pakistan People’s Party as there are other far more genuine candidates who have given their sweat and blood for PPP. Bilawal has barely step foot into Pakistan to understand the tumultuous climate while Asif Ali Zardari has an entire encyclopedia on corruption. Again I offer these critical views under solemn respect for the fallen leader of Pakistan

It may be considered a “wrong” step but I feel the party itself is in turmoil and needs continuity of some sort.

We must remember the party’s support base primarily comes from the lower classes who live and die by the Bhutto name. Perhaps it is a way to keep the party united.

Whether that happens or not, only time will tell. But at this time, they have probably taken this decision in the best interest of the party.

This only goes to prove that the PPP is not a legitimate political party. It’s another farce within this sham democracy. The damn feudalds want to maintain the status quo of continuing power within the few feudal parties that exist. And for that, they need to keep 98% of the population as barefoot, ignorant, and pregnant as possible.

Redsnapper, define what you mean by “best interest of the party”? Is this a fiefdom we are speaking of? Do chairpersons of the party only need to be Bhutto to qualify?

By the way, did Zardari kill off Benazir? He seems to be benefitting as much, if not more, than the Establishment.

God help us all. Jaahil Kaum.

    Mr. Pathetic……..

by the way i also belong to a feudal family but my mindset is totally different then whom yu have just mentioned……………..so dont blame all of them….you should know that five finger are not equal

your anger is pouring down through your mouth control it before it explode your whole body……….

One thing is clear from this decision that the most beneficiary of this decision is no other then Mr. Zardari himself………. he is now the sole owner of that party……why he was not given the seat of MNA or MPA in the upcoming election was only known to Benazir herself that why she is not here (May her sole rest in Peace) but on this very day He(Zardari) is supreme leader in command to ruined what was PPP…….no wonder his son is the chairmen……. and he is bullying his own child……on the name of Bhutto only waris……

“There will be a time in which yu ppl will be ruled by Jahil and learned will perish………and these are the signs of the Akhrat………..”

May Allah bless this country and help us from these Jahil……..Ameen

Other issues aside, just one point: Can we now say BB was not only Chairperson for life but bit beyond it? Cause in the former case she ceased to be the chairperson the moment she expired. Tell me WHAT RIGHT did she have to will the chairmanship to ANY ONE>?

P.S. It is certainly questionable that there is a will of the nature described because if there was one why keep it physically hidden if the contents of it are being made public???

Mr. Azam, first of all I am not a Mister, how about that? Your feudal mindset has been conditioned for generalities.

Did you know that befoe partition, the PML did NOT support Jinnah because the party consisted of feudals who were loathe to relinquish their ill gotten lands? They supported Jinnah ONLY on condition that their stolen lands beb theirs to keep. Hence, after partition there were no land reforms in Pakistan and the feudals and the Army (which is a new form of Feudal) have slowly killed what Pakistan was meant to be.

Read your history first, then you might be ashamed to consider yourself as Feudal.

Also, you expression and spelling is quite wanting. Do groom yourself better for your Feudal post.
