As I write this blog post I have been at a loss of words, I was shocked to read at the PKKH website that today [Saturday 27th June] the Sindh Assembly kicked off its session with a minutes silence in honor of Michael Jackson, yes you read that one correct ‘the moonwalking maestro – Jacko’ was honored with a minutes worth of silence, the logic, the rationality behind sending this message from our official public offices truly befuddles the daylights out of me
PKKH: Just when you think our so called ‘elected representatives’ can’t embarrass us anymore, they tend to prove us wrong. The Sindh Assembly this morning held a minute’s silence for Michael Jackson’s sad demise.
This news comes in close proximity to the controversy where the Presidency has allegedly removed the picture of the founding father of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Mohammed Ali Jinnah and replaced it with the various Bhutto-Zardari portraits
I could not help stop myself from laughing at the passion with which Dan Qayyum expresses his frustrations at watching the Sindh Assembly bow down to Michael Jacksons tune for a minute of silence.
The point isn’t whether Jacko was a global superstar or that he had reportedly converted to Islam – Michael Jackson had absolutely f*ck-all to do with Pakistan, its history, its culture, its language, its people and its politics. This is the Provincial Assembly of Sindh, Pakistan, not the California State Assembly. Or are we now officially the 51st state? What next? Will Muttahida’s gun toting ‘activists’ and PPP Jayalas forcefully shut all businesses in Karachi for a shutter-down strike next time Britney shaves her head? Or will we have a national day of mourning when Paris Hilton’s little pooch dies?
Here here Mr. Qayyum, what will these politicians think of next, it seems that they are truly trying to alienate a country to a point of no return, and I believe all these politician are to be blamed across the board – Gaad have mercy on us all

Heh, thanks for making my point for me: Darwin theorised on the evolution of species, and scientists have since been collecting data non-stop that comes out in support of it. I've come across no archaeological or historical find that negates evolution. And still, scientists are choosing to continue researching and finding evidence which will simply make this concept stronger. There are larger philosophical and pedagogical reasons for still calling it a theory, but rest assured, it's fact. Any scientist worth his name would tell you that. Even Muslim, Christian and other religious scientists are now agreed that evolution is fact; they only dispute the very origins of it and whether a higher power is controlling the process.

my arguments were specifically in the favor of the "belief" that man is created by Allah(swt),human is not the end result of an evolution. Which is the disputed area of over all evolution theory
no one denies the undisputed and innocent areas of evolution which talks about evolution of one spece to the other.
confilict arises when darwinists assumes that humans are evolved from other animals like other interspecies evolution. there are many scientists who reject this idea because despite of so many high tech geo-archeological surveys and so many discoveries from dinosaurs to the flies of the jurrasic era till ice age mammoth. no single genuine missing link could be discovered yet. what the world discovered is the fraudulent handicrafts of Darwinists like:
Java man(discovered by Dutchman Eugene Dubois in 1891)
Nebraska man(Nebraska in 1922)
Orce man(southern Spanish town of Orce in 1982)
Piltdown man(Found in a gravel pit in Sussex England in 1912)
kindly produce one genuine missing link which is verified by anthropometrists and anthropologists and considered genuine in scientist community.

One simple counter-question: how can you accept evolution from one species to another and not accept that humans are part of the same framework?

Hello! I am a professional lawyer and nothing to do with the art in my stuff but I wanna say something. HONOR TO THE KING OF POP! His tremendous talent and spectacular hard-working was never seen before. We had the biggest artist of all music history and some people resist to recognise this. Some os 50 or 60 can say Beatles, or Elvis or maybe Rolling Stones or Frank Sinatra but the world said Michael Jackson with 800 millions album copies sold out. NEVER SEEN BEFORE! and it all continues selling it…I would like people who didn't really knew him..know him…and know WHY was the best really the best but till that day they would have been reading and listening about him so much time that the other artists could be seen as small as they are against him.
