Imran Khan presents a very logical perspective as to why this Army offensive does not necessarily mean an end to this war on terror. Collateral Damage which leaves more civilians dead in its wake will most definitely create more enemies then good.

Dear Alwi Sahab,
Who is to be believed because Imran Khan had blamed Army Operation on the instructions of their paymasters [i.e. USA]. Remove either the video of Imran or these two blogs!

Pakistan Army kicks out Rehman Malik from GHQ Posted by Teeth Maestro October 18, 2009
Or read this [Note: No disrespect intended towards the services rendered by Mr Imran Khan for Humanity e.g. Shaukat Khanam Hospital and Education]
Early Association and Support with General Musharraf's Military Regime specifically association with General Musharraf's Sham Referendum has dented Imran's Political Career. Otherwise he is a fine man.
Imran Khan hailed PCOed Judiciary!
Aamir Mughal Sb – I believe you have not seen the video – it is even in the video he accuses the involvement of American in making this war of terror a huge mixup – no longer do the people of Pakistan control their destiny – it is controlled by the paymasters – who soever they might be
On the flip side – please read the Rehman Malik issue – it is my opinion that this idiot Rehman Dakait needed to be served a slap on his face – he got it – im glad he got it – he is NO different than the "dummy democracy" we had in the form of Shaukat Aziz – that we now have with Zardari and Gilani – in both situations we were held hostage by a dictatorship controlled by an article 58-2(b) – back then it was a military dictatorship – now it merely a democratically- elected- dictatorship – one and the same thing – we still have not seen the daylights of a democracy. let alone talk about Army vs Civilian govt issues
I am willing to support a genuine political system that is politically independent but for now i believe Rehman Malik and Asif Zardari should be behind bars for their rampant corruption now and many years before – it was through the gracious kindness of a military dictator who twisted the constitution to pardon them of their crimes – hence they are subverting the Constitution of Pakistan and they should be held accountable to the Article 6 of our consititution – and that is my position
Imran Khan's position in the early years of Musharraf are a fact – When Musharraf waltz'd I believe he had the right promises, a genuine will to change the system for the better – but very soon when Musharraf started going against his promises Imran also had to readjust his role into the opposition – its a political move, and I believe the right move better undone early before it goes seriously out of hand. Not much can be said about our other parties who stick it out through thick and thin compromising all their principles as long as the money flow is intact. I hold Imran highly for having the right intentions for Pakistan. little can be said about the entire tranche of leaders we have in our present system now.
Aamir Sb – You are a good political analyst, you have also been watching the circus now, lets just hope these fun and games doesnt get over our head [or has it] – of all the trash in the system you must agree with the minor fallbacks on Imran, he is still without doubt still standing up for Pakistan !!!
Janab Awab Sahab,
I have seen the video and please note in the start of the video Mr Imran has used the expression paymasters.
good vdo as usual imran does speaks on local channels now he said in english..
It is UK/US Imperialism when they UK intruded our lands in around 1800s they have had the agenda to Divide&Conquer based on Feudalism all da pols of da world like our pols r feudal lords or have connection with 'em and feudal those who runs bureaucracy/democracy and make rules i.e to send army into waziristan or not or elsewhere.
So Imran can;t cum into power becuz he ain't a feudal and cannot set things straight in a jiffy as our gullible public expected to every1
Imran is a good fighter and knows how 2 play long innings and how to fight on da ground but he's not a gud all-rounder in political ground. He should have to remained in cricket which conditions also rotten as our political, social, economy conditions are rotten….Imran could be Chairman of da PCB but dis board is also pesticide by politics.pk
Imran if cum in power i'd like 2 support him and let c what can he give 2 Pakistan who chose/voted Zardari r real responsible for plight.pk, those r n illiterate-idiots, slave 2 their party who give 'em pee pee pee. Yuck. Imran can b better

Agreed but If you go through the article 6 of the Constitution and Imran's Support to Musharraf's Illegal and Sham Referendum [and that too after 12 Oct 1999 Military Coup] then how would you deny that Imran too was an accomplice and violated article 6 of 1973 Constitution.
As per 1973 Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan
6. (1) Any person who abrogates or attempts or conspires to abrogate, subverts or attempts or conspires to subvert the Constitution by use of force or show of force or by other unconstitutional means shall be guilty of high treason.
(2) Any person aiding or abetting the acts mentioned in clause (1) shall likewise be guilty of high treason.
(3) [Majlis-e-Shoora (Parliament)] shall by law provide for the punishment of persons found guilty of high treason.
So Imran can;t cum into power becuz he ain’t a feudal [Ya-sir]
No doubt he is a great man but what the hell he is doing addressing a joint press conference with a Feudal Mumtaz Ali Bhutto???

SWA operation due to US pressure: Imran
Monday, October 19, 2009
Damn if you do damn if you don't.
That's how USA traps!
Quetta Shura – USA's Allegation
Jundullah – Iran's Allegation.
SSP and all such sidekicks of Establishment [Strategic Depths of Rascal General Aslam Beg] used to undermine several political setups were [of still are] based in Southern Punjab.
Should I say more!!!!
A few questions from PTI and Imran Khan, and I'd really like to get some official replies, so that I can know their official party stance.
1. What is Imran Khan's alternate strategy to the one currently being employed?
2. If it's dialog, what will it be about? What factors will it take in, and on what grounds will it seek negotiations?
3. How will Imran Khan guarantee that TTP will not do an aboutface on the negotiations, in order to further their agenda?
4. Will the issue of disarmament of militants feature in the dialog process?
5. Is Imran Khan himself, if made an appointee, willing to conduct such negotiations with TTP and the likes, in S. Waziristan?
6. What is his plan B, on this strategy of his, that's if it doesn't work out?
7. What does he find wrong with previous such peace agreements, which ultimately only resulted in giving militants more time to prepare and regroup. How does he want to do it different, this time around?
8. How does he want the people and government of Pakistan to respond to suicide attacks, within the country? Do note, that I'm specifically asking for his ideas about the 'response', not anything else.
At least someone who thinks originally about the situation.
Tries to approach the problem with an open mind.
SHAMEFULLY it is the rest of the blocks of politicians like
Q league ,N league,PPP who constantly disregard his openion because it does not suit their agenda which is to please USA.
We should work with USA but we have to form our own policies we have to convince USA there other ways.
Imran Khan believes in negotiations and brings up solutions ,need is rest of the politicians should involve iin discussions and than improve the idea and make policies.
I think this is what is called Democracy .
Alas ,we do not believe in that .
Imran Khan believes in negotiations and brings up solutions ,need is rest of the politicians should involve iin discussions and than improve the idea and make policies. [Farrah]
Imran Khan? Who is Imran Khan?
He is too GOOD to be in dirt . . .
I do not agree with his SOFT stance on TALIBAN (but i can understand why he says what he says, he is just against using force against own people)
But saari baat ki aik baat:
Jab wari walun ki niyyat hee nai ye DRAMA khatam kerne ki toh ab acting chahey kaisi bi ho. . . does it matter.
Didnt any hear what PERVEZ HOODBHOY said (and he was right), ye TTP mashallah se hamari hee KASHMIR or JIHADi project ka by-product hain, and our ARMY is in no mood to wind up this project.
so cross your fingers for next show
Abb aisaa bhee nahee hai, kah log Imran KHan ko jantey nahee hain…..Apko nahee passand to isskaa matlab yai nahee kah koee jantaa nahee hai Imran Khan ko….

Imran Khan a TRUE LEADERSHIP speaks for the poor and helpless of Pakistan.
he is speaking with logic and engaging in dialogue….clearly this is not mainstream politics or taste of our media ……
But I am glad he had a courage to STAND UP and SPEAK OUT for the TRIBAL AREAS .
Only Imran has advocated their case and showed that they are part of Pakistan as well.
They do not deserve bullets and air raids.
In the same context I would like to appreciate GEN KIYANI's statement which he issued yesterday in PUSHTO.
This is the right policey ……..
Pakistan is on the right track.
Best of luck
In the same context I would like to appreciate GEN KIYANI’s statement which he issued yesterday in PUSHTO. [Farrah]
Dear Ms Farrah,
I agree but a letter of same nature by Mr Kiyani to the people of Baluchistan would do wonder.
In the same context I would like to appreciate GEN KIYANI’s statement which he issued yesterday in PUSHTO.
This is the right policey [Farrah]
Dear Ms Farrah,
The news should also be appreciated.
Army investigates SMS fraud, warns cellphone users
By Imran Ali Teepu Tuesday, 20 Oct, 2009 | 07:33 AM PST
after reading the article in Dawn ,of course I am concerned but if the terrorists are using the SMS as a detonatar what is the fault of army in it.
They can only warn untill the service providers deduct such messages ?Personally I do not think even the service provider can stop this.
How much civil governemnt has educated people on Mobile phones, hacking,Id thefts and the pitfalls of buying second hand mobiles and PCS.
Was it not the responsibility of civil government and media to educate people?
Rehman Malik wishes to raise an army of civilians in a day?
When half of the nation thinks he and Hamid Mir are CIA agents.
Who has created this disbelief and dis information in the society?
It is not a crises management it is a war zone?
Pakistan army is enganged with nameless and faceless.
Diffused borders in Fata and Kashmir was not military strategy but civil as well????
It was Benazir who recognised Talibaan and we saw the unprecedendant rise of ISI.
Benazir did not do a UTURn on Zia policy she just took over and thats it.
Charlie Wilson regretts rightfully if he would have done more to convince US for more funds maybe Afghanistan would have been better and stable and so would have we.
War on Terror was War of USA not our war.Musharraf accepted to fight he saved the country?
What is Zardari doing???
Dear Ms Farrah,
You misunderstood me, I have appreciated the Pakistan Army in my above post.
There is so much criticism lately about Pakistan army that I misread it .
The most widely googoled Pakistani is Imran Khan.
Accroding to IRI 2007,the most respectable person in the country is Imran Khan.
The only international celebrity Pakistan has got is Imran Khan.
This year alone there has been three books written about Imran Khan. One by an Indian Author, one by Austtralian and the last one by British Author.
Aunty get some education first, then come to blog pages …..
Aunty your duty is getting education
Imran Khan Is opportunist
