Footpath School supported by NA250 Education Team

My mother Samina Alvi distributing clothes to Footpath School children — a school established during the day under the Abdullah shah Ghazi / Bahria Town flyover for local street children

She’s been amazing force along with the amazing volunteers of the NA250 education team on rebuilding many govt schools – her next series of projects is to adopt dilapidated govt hospital / medical centres and allow donors to adopt and run them — connect with her if you would like to pitch In for fixing the education or health infrastructure of the area

All this being done ZERO govt / public money and totally on good faith philanthropy to fix Public Schools and Hospitals

NA250 Education Work at Railway Colongy School

Proud of the work done by NA250 Education Team – this is another example of the constant effort to improve various schools in the area – On a total self-help basis – each team raises funds for their adopted schools and they slowly repair the schools – If you see the other pictures of the two other school they visited in Qayyumabad you would be shocked at the state of affairs are at the moment –

This is probably a shining example of Govt of Sindh and their billions earmarked for Education …. Continue Reading

The Railway School almost ready

It was truly a ghost school before – Insha’Allah now with the involvement of The Citizens Foundation – TCF imparting good quality education it should become a proper school – impacting the lives of children in the area.

Funds to revamp this school were raised from kind donors and supporters – and slowly in the 4-5 months we are now almost ready to hand the school over to professionals at TCF to manage this school henceforth

Credit goes out to many selfless volunteers and donors who have made this a reality – Leadership from Dr Arif Alvi who waded through the bureaucracy, it took time, but perseverance has paid off – Inshallah once this school becomes fully functional the school will start catering to around 2000 children (both shifts) from a dismal 250 enrolled at the moment

Axact Sells an MBA Degree to a Dog

As if the funny stories about Axact could possibly not get any funnier – we now have an authenticated investigative report of Axact’s sham university Rochwille University awarding College MBA degree to a dog in Vermont USA. Rochville Universoty also happens to be listed in New York Times list of Axact’s Sham university websites for $499

First please kindly watch this video below, uploaded in 2011, of a Vermont news reporter exposing how a dog named Chester Ludlow obtained an MBA degree from Rochville University in 2009 and was even supplied with proper detailed transprcipts and heck along with in the package came a car sticker as well, talk about alumni perks

Distance MBA Degree Earned by Dog

A closer look at Rochville University, a link which was also reported on Declan Walsh’s article in NYT, scrolling onto their website if you click LIVE CHAT, a window pops up, revelaing the source code you shall see that the encoding includes a special xchatlivepro code which is hosted on xchatlivepro.com webiste – in yesterday’s video we shared about these sham websites having the same chatting link, we showed how almost any randombly selected website lead to this Axact Chat server, which has been confirmed by my sources to be expliclity used by Axact employees while connecting with potential clients online. Its funny, that eversince our exposure the backend xchatlivepro links, has been taken offline, specifically the Axact employee login window which was previously accessible at http://xchatlivepro.org/Login.aspx.

To make things easier, and to also document it as evidence, a short video clearly shows the above steps pointing back to the same servers

Help us rebuild the Railway School at Kalapul – an NA250 & ICWS Project

Insaf Community Welfare Society partners with The Citizens Foundation to adopt this Railway school near Kalapul – work is fully underway for the initial handover to TCF in some respectable state in the coming month, but we need generous support to rebuild and rehabilitate this school to its old glory – taking it from the ~200 students enrolled to the potential of 2000 children being educated in both shifts

A detailed report of the project can be read on the NA250.com website Railway School Kalapul Project

During the fundraiser this Sunday we raised pledges of 5 million to bring the total up to 9.5 million already pledged by the NA250 team and supporters – our aim is to achieve 25 million to revamp the school

Ironically if you watch in between the video the assembly of children when asked “Kaisa School Chahiyae” they respond “Foundation jaisa school” – right across the playground a lavish Foundation Public School stands with a manicured structure teaching “the affording elite” … while these 200 or so kids live in pre-historic times.

HEC Fatwa – Letter by Isa Daudpota to HEC

A letter sent by Isa Daudpota to the Executive Director of HEC regarding the HEC notification silencing anti-Govt discussion and debate

————
Dr Mansoor A Kundi
Executive Director
Higher Education Commission
Islamabad.
Dear Dr Kundi (cc Chairman HEC and some academics),

Dr Abdullah Sadiq and I received a query about the attached note — circulated by you to universities — from our friend, Mr Naeem Sadiq in Karachi.

Only now have I ascertained that the note is genuine. What you are essentially recommending is censorship! Given the already suffocating intellectual environment on our campuses, your note will only strengthen those who wish to create a repressive atmosphere of George Orwell’s brilliant dystopia, “1984”

25 Million children are Out of School in Pakistan — But, those ‘in’ school are equally Out of School

Recently Alif Ailaan published a report titled 25 Million Broken Promises: The Crisis of Pakistan’s Out-of-School Children exposing the pathetic situation of education in Pakistan – but if there are millions of children out of school in Pakistan – then Im embarassed to share that the children “in-school” are equally uneducated and can be eqaully categorized as “out-of-school” – This is a video of a school in the metropolitan school based in Karachi – if such is the standard of education in an urban center – pray what might be the state of education in a rural school reportedly educating the future of our children

May Allah have mercy on our rulers, Sindh has received billions in funds for the past year but the situation in education and all other sectors are still at the mercy of corruption by the same leaders who rule over them

Sindh quietly makes law to de-fang HEC

HEC sent to the grave by SindhWith parliament and the ECP at loggerheads over the issue of fake degrees, the Sindh Assembly has passed a new law to make the federal Higher Education Commission totally irrelevant in relation to the Sindh province by setting up its own provincial HEC that has been given all the powers, including the authority to verify degrees awarded by any institution in the world – allows them to induct Fake Degree holders bypassing Central HEC The News: Sindh quietly makes law to de-fang HEC
