Supreme Court website reinstates CJP Iftikhar Chaudhry
As of midnight 12:00AM 22nd March 2009 the Supreme Court of Pakistan website had officially updated its service to reflect the newly reappointed Honorable Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry. The most important fact to note is that the record stands precisely as “Appointed as Chief Justice Pakistan on 30th June 2005″.
Reinstatement of Ifitkhar Chaudhry is step one towards the achievement of an independent Judiciary and now upon his shoulders [and other non-PCO judges] rest the burden of imparting justice to the people of Pakistan and hopefully standing up against the crooked and corrupt. So long to all the DOGar’s of Pakistan, we hope that you all may soon disappear into history merely as a bad dream.

Disorganization at the Flag Ceremony at the CJ house
Its great news, but a bit off topic with all the post about the judicial row, I wonder if all the lawyers and professionals would show up to protest and demand better treatment for the poor of Pakistan. Or maybe even drinkable water.
It just seems the professionals of Pakistan were able to fight back against the Government to get an issue that would go over 90% of the heads of Pakistani (and even world wide) but are mute over more pressing issues.
Please correct it. The outgoing is not [DOGar's] but [DOGars(e)]. This DOGs-arse, in a private gathering of his friends, when asked ‘Dogar Sahab, why on earth did you sanctify NRO and give away Graduation clause for presidential elections, he rigtfully quipped “Yar aik bar munh kala kar he liya to kala he rahnay do”.
Un-believeable. I have touched this Hon’ble web site after very long period. May I expect that mine like (have nots) got Justice which was denied in past.
