This extreme endurance is result of human self control and focus of energy toward positive side.
Self-control through practice and patience techniques is restraint practiced over one’s own emotions, impulses, or desires. It is the ability to make positive choices, to think before acting. Without self-control, we can say and do things impulsively which often leads to a serious trouble.
This is fine example of managing one’s self control.
Being out of control is one of the worst feelings in the world, sometimes even worse than pain.
