I am sure you all must know of our famous MNA cum TV personality Dr. Aamir Liaqat Hussain. For the past few months rumors have been circulating that he is a fake doctor finally I have evidence. In a detailed investigation conducted by a local newspaper ‘Ummat‘ and recently published in South Asia Tribune, some really interesting fact have indeed come forth surely worth a NAB ‘chappa’.
Dr. Aamir appears to be one of the biggest local scams of Pakistan. For the past couple years he has been the host of ‘Aalim Online‘ on Geo TV where he brings together Islamic Scholars to shed light on the religion of Islam. I have always disliked watching the show as it always appeared as a scam, a snazzy looking Dr. Aamir preaching Islam some how irritated me, but that’s just me, I have for sometime labeled his show as Jahil Online. It now appears to be entirely true. Dr. Aamir had been preaching Islam with such authority that it had the nation fooled for years including our General who has appointed him as a Minister of Religious Affairs (probably in a deal with MQM)
He has graduated from ‘Trinity College and University‘ with a Bachelors of Arts in Islamic Studies (conferred on March 17, 1995). The next degree that he allegedly pursued was a Masters of Arts in Islamic Studies (conferred on March 15, 2002) and amazingly 20 days later was awarded a doctorate, Doctor of Philosophy in Islamic Studies (conferred on April 5, 2002). All these degrees were awarded by Trinity College based out of Spain. The going rate for these ‘degrees by mail’ as published on the Trinity College website (link) is
Masters = $ 332
Doctorate= $ 500
Or a one time deal all three degrees for a bumper price of $ 850
Trinity College on its webpage claims the following slogans “providing degrees based on your previous life” and the best slogan “No Residency or Attendance is required in Spain Everything by Mail”
Dr. (Fake) Aamir Liaquat Hussain contested the National Assembly elections based on these degrees and successfully won, he stands to be disqualified for providing fake degrees to support his candidacy (which as you all recall was strictly limited to graduates). The Higher Education Commission Pakistan has also declare in a letter that Trinity College is not a authorized degree awarding university. How can it be since its just one of those online stores that awards these degrees. Check these pictures out as they sure are incriminating evidence.

Online fake degrees is a growing concern for all nations. It simply leaves the people useless, who put in their heart and soul in the 4+ years at univ.
There should be an international body that recognizes a particular standard for all degrees. Organizations like the HEC should be reporting to that body from each country…

I would strongly disagree with the point that all professionals are on the Payroll, that is a lame way to generalize the population, accuse carefully as I know many respected individuals who turly believe in their country, have infact given back to society a lot more then one could ever imagine. The govt fails to do social work yet you see the tremendous effort by The Citizens Foundation or the Behbud Foundation, these are not 1% professionals but far more people invovled to make such organizations exists. We may differ but seems like with the MQM at the helm of affairs our city has not done any progress, until MMA showed up to show us what can be achieved. I ain’t an MMA supporter but they have done SOMETHING as compared to the 20 year of a disturbing reign of power by MQM. You talk so passionately about Mohajirs, I can accept the disgruntled emotions on the issue, and I feel in 1986 at the formation of MQM that issue was ripe for picking and Altaf Hussain cashed in on it BIG TIME. But 20 years down the road what has changed, nothing infact mohajirs are worse off then they actually started. That would make you wonder if MQM actually means good. The topic I have introduced needs to be discussed, as I personally believe that Its a hoax, I was in Houston the day it happened and my cat woke me up, I thus was making some tea for me while i turned on the TV, the first plane already had hit the WTC while the second one hit while I was watching. I got depressed by watching this tragedy, the tv anchors one lady and one guy they looked horribly scared and confused they couldnt speak at that time, and right after 15 minutes, it was OSAMA BIN LADEN did it….strange you know. Anyways, after days of going through the media and my own curiosity was on the brink of a throw up, I critically studied the whole case and rightly certain things came up, like after some days the FBI’s ad on TV that they need to hire people speaking Darri, Pushto, Punjabi, and blah blah plus they “Confessed” that human intelligence failed, what a bull shit. They made the same statement after the Iranian revolution (I don’t think so), Tehran was their power base and Shah, Savak and all top dawgs were in their control………Hello

I read this article on the Ummat newspaper by myself. Never knew Dr. Awab also posted about Aamir Liaquat here. Now i know , here is what i feel.
In Pakistan, everything is possible. Amazingly no one asks Aamir Liaquat hussain about the Doctrate degree he got in 20 days..now that is really amazing….It take years not days…cmon..thats enough to prove him wrong.
Secondly, it also proves one point that our Politicians Suck Bigtime!.
See Jamiat, they have got all the so called Aalim in them but they shake hands with the corrupts of Nawaz Sharif and Benazir Bhutto only to achieve their so-called Political aims . They dont say BB and NS should give all the money back to country that they looted during their reigns but they say Bring them Back!…Now isnt that enough for the people to realize that Jamiat is like every other political party not a Islamic one.

I do Agree that the degree shown is cent precent fake but lets just forget it for some time. Just highlight his positive points which I think are numerous. The controversy you have started is just like saying that PERVAIZ MUSHARRAF should resign and should leave his Uniform. THough constitutionally this is correct but some times we have to ignore the negative points to gain from the positive ones .
