Nasim Ashraf tells Players to Shut Up

Nasim AshrafNasim Ashraf, the chairman of PCB Cricket has issued a gag order on all PCB player to not discuss Shoaib Ahktar and his assault on Mohd Asif.

“Shoaib was sent home and handed an indefinite ban following a dressing-room scuffle, during which he hit Asif on the thigh with a bat. On arrival in Pakistan, Shoaib blamed Afridi for provoking him, saying that he made offensive comments about his family. Afridi later denied instigating the spat and said he couldn’t understand why Shoaib targeted him.” – Cricinfo

While Nasim Ashraf feeling the heat yet again before the start of another tournament blurted out to Reuters by saying quote “Shoaib and the others should keep their mouth shut on this issue”

Truly brilliant, it is PCB that allowed this ego-maniac to continue playing well after his peak days well before the doping scandal (heck I believe it was around 2005 – Shoaib Akhtar in Aussie Bar Party). Fundamentally in an attempt to control its players [specailly Shoaib Akhtar who loved to show off his pathetic Angrezi accent] the PCB had forbidden all its contractual players from making any public statements (except for the coach and the captain) this move was entirely because of the gun-totting-spit-firing attacks that was the usual hallmark of Shoaib Akhtar, but even with the gag order we have repeatedly seen Shoaib Akhtar make statements to the media with no apparent no repercussions.

The whining bitch has now been booted out of the team (Yippee!!) and out of an important tournament for the umpteenth time, he will whine and cry all the way home, let him, but Nasim Ashraf must ensure that discipline must be maintained within the remaining members – or has he lost control, for the umpteenth time yet again?

I would have loved to chalk this down as a Nasim Ashraf Blooper, but I forgive him this time… maybe the next story we might have the pleasure.

Somethings never change, and so is true for some people. No i am not talking about Shoaib.

I am talking about PCB guys who have decided to pamper this guy which is no doubt talented but unfortunately fame and fortune is too good for his health and he has no clue how to handle it.

He should have been shown the door earlier. Better late than never.

Pathetic really. Shoaib and Naseem should be tied with a rope to an iron anchor and thrown off a cliff overlooking the ocean.

Shoaib-Akhtar isn’t good for team moral not at all not in a least way.How he manages him,he’s gettin overweight which causing him regular injuries and he doesnt look serious to get rid of ’em on a longer basis if he wants so he has to reduce his weight.
He looks ‘Charsi’ and Sharabi too if ya look his face carefully you might agree with me and that might be a cause behind his overweight and fitness prb.
PCB shouldn’t waste his money at him.PCB should seek newcomers,if he was smart enuff he’d have gave us win over India in ’03 W/C where lil master Sachin show his class against this braggers and he led the entire nation heads down in shame
He turn 33.. Does fastest bowler has a life more than 3o..??
If PCB doesn’t want more future shame bcuz of him PCB shud ban him lifetime fast and furiously
