The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP), along with other civil society groups, will be observing December 10 (Universal Human Rights Day), as black day. The idea is to highlight the unprecedented human rights abuses by the government against the people and against all sections of civil society in 2007, including curbs on media and free expression; arrests of thousands of lawyers, journalists, students, teachers and human rights activists; charging lawyers and others under the Anti-Terrorism Act; house arrest of 35 judges of superior courts; and generally the people suffering terrorism; both at the hands of non-state militants and state agents.

PAKISTAN PEOPLES PARTY [PPP] AND NON STATE AGENTS HISTORIC COLLOBORATION – TERRORISM CANNOT BE JUSTIFIED
Muzaffar Mansoor – London
In recent times the leaders of the PPP are accusing non-state agents for their terrorist activities in and outside Pakistan. There is no doubt Pakistan is the only country which has suffered greatest loss of lives and property in the name of her being an ally in the war against terrorism soon after the demise of USSR in Afghanistan when with the blessings of America and her Mujahideen from all over the world who were trained, armed and used against USSR that is by creation of non-state agents otherwise known as Madrassas and Mullahs.
The historic relationship between PPP and these fundamental non-state agents in the name of Islamisation now known as Talibanisation are traced back to 1973 also when the then Prime Minister Z A Bhutto hatched the plan, sought for and formed collaboration with Mullahs of various fundamental Islamic groups [non-state agents] to run a countrywide movement against innocent citizens belonging to Ahmadi / Qadiani community so as to declare them a religious minority culminating into legislative amendments through so-called in-camera sessions of the then National Assembly of Pakistan in 1974.
From 1973 until date innocent Ahmadi Muslims have been attacked, murdered, their properties looted, destroyed and burnt, have no rights even right to assemble and practice which is nothing other than terrorism incited by the PPP made constitutional provisions i.e. is notorious anti-Qadiani legislation and Ordinance XX.
The PPP leaders take greater credit for it. If this type of collaboration in terrorism is justified then no other terrorism could be unjustified when the truth is that neither former nor later are justified. Terrorism is terrorism done by anyone to anyone in the name of religion or any other reason. It has only one name and that is the terrorism. There were other incidents of terrorism taken place in Pakistan against Christians of Shanti Nagar and Khanewal all were by these non-state agents one time or the other was collaborators of the PPP.
It is noted that the PPP leaders do not condemn acts of such terrorism when happened to the members of the Qadiani Community in Pakistan their lips remain sealed thereby inciting intolerance and violence exhibiting their double standards. The PPP leaders often claim pride of performance highlighting their achievement of solving Qadiani problem and admire their collaboration with non-state agents; hence PPP’s historic collaboration with non-state agents can not be overruled.
