Since the day after the assassination of his mother Benazir Bhutto, Bilawal Zardari has suddenly grown himself a fan club, young Pakistanis look at this new face of a future leader in Pakistan and quite naturally young women around the country throng to his fan club. The latest fad seems to be a series of Facebook groups that have sprung in the past few days to discuss this new leader, and as of last count there were 19 such groups with the highest member count hovering around 450 members
It is also not surprising that a few fake-facebook profiles have also come forward which impersonate the young new star, to the extent that a bogus statement, which appeared seemed to be a sincere response to condolences sent to a Facebook profile in the name of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. “I am not a born leader. I am not a politician or a great thinker, it says. “Im merely a student. I do the things that students do like make mistakes, eat junk food, watch Buffy [the Vampire Slayer] but most importantly of all . . . learn. My time to lead will come but for now Im the one asking questions, not the one answering them.
Its no surprise that the real Facebook profile remains camouflaged under a pseudonym which was researched and located from the Chirst Church Freshers 2007 group and he appears as Bilawal [actual name removed to protest his privacy] which the close family sources claim Bilawal has not accessed since his mothers death.
The Sun was able to pull this picture from his profile on facebook which features him dressed up as a devil for a University function. — Bilawal, all I can say is welcome to stardom, Pakistan needs to know you better before they can trust you with their vote, but until then you have a few years before you come back so enjoy the limelight but at the same time just be careful, our hopes and the reputation of Pakistan lies interlinked, sorry for the added pressure, but that’s the price you might have to pay.

i wonder what the fuss is about. i must have received around a dozen forwarded emails of bilawal wearing a devil’s outfit. apparently some of my “conservative” friends think it’s “gunaah” to be dressed up in a devil’s outfit. boy some people dont have a life as they are ready to make a big deal out of a Halloween outfit. let the guy enjoy his youth as we are all young only once. now the poor guy will have to be careful as all his activities will be closely scrutinized. Halloween is not so pagan festival which is banned around the world. they have Halloween parties in Pakistan as well. hell people drink, sin and do loads of stuff and yet no one cares about that.
Thanks for adding misery to poor kids life who just recently lost his mother! TM thats the most idiotic thing I’ve ever read on here.

Though this name was NOT revealed by me, infact it can easily be found by the original investigating articles. I was just relaying the facts that have already existed.
But I would agree to not add to his misery and have removed his actual facebook name from my article. Your argument to protect his privacy stands valid.
I know but it would have made things easier for the people to cause trouble.
Whatever the politicians or media says but it still is a fact that he just turned 19 and lost his mother.

I don’t think there is anything wrong with the picture. However, it must be kept in mind that he is the chairperson of the PPP even he is at a tender age. The media cannot ignore him altogether, although yes, a little sensitivity towards his privacy as a student should be considered.

Put yourself in his shoes and for a second try to capture whats running in a 19 year olds mind who recently has lost someone close to him, used to lead a normal life but now is in public eye every whisper of every waking hour.
It was in the news that there were two fake profiles of Bilawal that were created on facebook and now facebook has removed those phony profiles after the media has totally capitalized on it.
No that facebook itself has acknowledged that the profiles were fake, Awab you should delete this post.

i think its Bilawal’s personal life…if he is drinking alcohol so its not a big deal….i dunt think tht there is any pakistani politician who does not drink….they are hardly few who doesnt….

This is just a family trait. His grandfather was a ‘wadera’ who at 13 got married to a 19 year old girl. He used to have drunk parties when he was a Prime Minister and when the country was passing through worst of its times. His mother was known for hand jobs in the same college he is in. I wish someone could rid Pakistan of these drunks once and for all.
