Musharraf honored as “Big Speaker” at Stanford

Musharraf CryMusharraf has been asked to speak as the “Big Speaker” at Stanford University when millions of us Pakistanis want him to be tried for his crimes.

Please take time to contact the Office of the President of Stanford University, condemning the invitation and asking Stanford to cancel the event. Please refer to the specific crimes of Musharraf, especially the treason of 3rd Nov, the unconstitutional NRO, the missing people, the high-level corruption and illegal allotment of lands, the destruction of institutions and absolute misuse of power.

In an email to her US Spokesman Mark Seigel, Benazir had put the blame on Musharraf for her assassination if that ever happened

some times i laugh when i read the posts of musharrafians.
i wonder how can a right beccome wrong and wrong become right?
its amazing to see that people like pervez, altaf, zardari
,fazlu bawa and others corrupt politicians are being defended by some educated and supposedly high intellect people.
    guys!
our society is suffering from serious problems.

Iftikhar Chaudry is neither a crusader for freedom nor a deeply corrupt judge. Chaudhry is somebody who dallied with anti-government stance, found himself in the deep-end, got scared, found the rope thrown by the opposition parties and hung himself with it.The problem is โ€œselected justiceโ€ which accounts to: plain hypocrisy and thatโ€™s what the drovy eyed Iftikhar Chaudry and his supporters (mostly Islamists) advocate. The drovy eyed one first rejected Javed Hashmi(s) appeal and when it suited him (politically) took a suo-moto and signed the judgment letter to release Javed Hashmi after re-instatement. .Chaudry is another Rafique Tarar with no beard! Chaudhry, now feted as a humanitarian crusader, never once raised his voice when the general sahib ordered a full-fledged military assault on Balochistan. The reason why I mentioned this anecdote is because it serves as a useful example for how much arm in glove was Mr. Chaudhry with the general before the glove was discarded and picked up by the opposition parties.
There is one more twist to the tale โ€“ ethnicity. Chaudhry sahib is not an ethnic Baloch but a Punjabi abdagar, whom Balochis despise. So it is surprising that the firing of this Baloch has prompted little or no response in Balochistan.

Mushraff didnโ€™t go because of the PML-N sponsored Lawyers Movement but because of Hussain Haqanni & Bibi(s) successful lobbying to pursue the Americans that could after coming into power in Pakistan give a much needed political clout to the war against terror but Mushraff will be back with a Bang!!! Apna Sher and this time: I am sure: he will not repeat the same mistakes Unaiza point out! *tag Uni*

anti-democracy is MQM’s culture, time will say,
was is good to kick out Nawaz, but history has
correctly registered that Mush was kicked out with
not many choices left for him. Pinochet was Mushy’s
ideal !! rather idol ! I don’t know how long Altaf

    completely agreed with asad ali.
as i closely observed the MQM, i can say with full confidence that MQM is a fascist organization which can not tolerate the difference of opinion and altaf is not more than a chauvnist pig nourished by americans and britons.whose job is to attack any one who raise his voice in favour of islam and jihad and rule of law.

What about the worldwide appreciation of him? The National Law Review of America awarding him the Lawyer of the Year?
And more for your drenched stupid minds, he’s also been awarded the Harvard Law School Association’s Medal of Freedom!
    In your face then.

p.s. Your Transparency International of ‘Pakistan’ report is too weak, it doesn’t even show a tad bit of the stories of the tenure Iftikhar was in as the CJP. SO grow up and bring something valid.

For your drenched stupid mind too…The Stanford University has invited Mr. Musharraf as their big speaker…quite an appreciation for our honourable ex-president.

Stories of Chaudhury’s tenure…hmmm let me think again…oh yes, stories like his unfair use of authority regarding his son. So why shouldn’t he get the Medal of Freedom? He practised his freedom of authority…good, I agree.
I would advise you to come out of your state of denial. Transparency International’s report is self explanatory.
How strong an evidence you expect? I quoted a solid reference. Your weightless denials cannot change the facts.

being thick-headed is a reality and human
“qualificative” and very much related to human faculty
of intelligence, but somebody held to be head-less or
brain-less is absolutely irrelevant and beyond real.
With whom would you talk ? a headless cadavre ??

The chap has earned enormous credibility among
    Europeans. Transparency International’s itself is
often accused of double standards and victimization
and targetting of “outside Euro-Mafia nations “.
Belge Govt. crises is a constant example of such hidden
    mafia system completley immunized.

CJP has become a solid counter balance against Mushy
and MQM, particularly which is known as Pak-seperatist
and seccessionists terrorists. The Pakistanis in France
have a deep hatred for these seperatists.

  13. Unaiza Fatima Avatar
    Unaiza Fatima

    @Asad Ali
Thank you for giving me useful knowledge about human anatomy.
The opinions of a few Pakistanis in France can never and will never, be equal to the opinion of the people of Karachi and Hyderabad who vote for MQM. If some people do not respect the voice and opinions of majority of the people, their own opinions cannot be respected. The question is…which Pakistani group in France has hatred for MQM? Yes…it is th ethnic Punjabi group which constitute the majority of Pakistani living abroad…but do these non-urdu speaking need any reason to hate MQM? Of course not…because they have an inborn hatred for muhajirs and that is it. This well-educated group from India took over all the key positions in Pakistan at the time of independence, and so are hated since then. It is understandable. It is exactly like saying Jews in France have deep hatred for Hamas. They naturally have…it is understandable too.
And sorry, a few accusations cannot belittle the credibility of Transparency International. If it is so, even Nobel Prize in not credible…as there are a few controversies. Please overcome your state of denial.

  27. Shehzad Avatar

I do not find anything to the effect of inuendos against the current governor of Sindh as mentioned by the brave people who cannot give their names. There is a difference between a convict from the court and an accused. Example can be Mr Nawaz Sharif a convict and Mr Asif Zardari an accused and both were at some point of time were declared absconders by the courts which had Mr Iftikhar Chaudhry as a judge or Chief Justice. The Newsline article referred in the mail by Rockfella mentions following ”To add insult to injury, giving the PML(Q) the chief ministership of the province forced the establishment to agree to the appointment of the MQM’s (Muttahida’s) Ishratul Ibad Siddiqui, hitherto a proclaimed absconder, wanted in eight criminal cases, with a reward of three million rupees on his head, as governor of the province” and not ” current governor is a convicted (and then offcourse pardoned by Musharraf) RAPIST and MURDERER of Hakim Saeed’. Musharraf also pardoned Nawaz Sharif from conviction in Hijacking case and Asif Zardari through NRO. Does it mean all the people pardoned by Musharraf are Plunderers, Murderers and Rapists ??

I do not agree that Musharraf is a leader for Urdu speaking population because he had Army (mainly Punjabi speaking and Pushto speaking) supporting him even giving guard of honour on his departure. The people who formed a coalition government under him were the highest vote getters in the February 2008 elections PML + MQM + PPP(Sherpao) and some others.

The beauty of democracy is that now Mr Rehman Dakait is thinking of entering politics as mentioned at http://www.dawn.com/2009/01/14/local1.htm. Long Live democracy

    4) Zardari causing instability.

If only you had supported the lawyers:

And by the way the Karachi Massacre of 1992 was started in Nawaz’s goverment when thousands of innocents were brutally murdered. Zahid A.

One has to analyze who started all this… Remember Musharraf’s slogan…. sab se Pehle Pakistan….He pardoned Nawaz, and lot of good example he created. When others created problem in his administration he safeguarded himslef only. It started from the media channel when the bastered, Hamid Mir, started favouring the terrorist Taliban and AL Qaeda leaders showing interview… and the Al-Qaeda funded people satrted infilterating as media anchors… taken up issues against Musharraf….supporting Nawaz. Musharaf’s decision on Lal Masjid was right and endorsed by most of Patriot Pakistanis but the media projected this issue negatively…. simultanously Iftikhar Choudhry’s issue popped up. He should not go to Karachi on May 12. The Urdu speaking people understand these politics and support Altaf Hussain, who belongs to Middle class family and not belong to the class who were the chamchas in British reign. Altaf challenged the establishment or ISI’s role in politics and then these people projected him anti state element. If MQM was a terrorist organization no politcal party can show their muscle in Karachi or make any gatherings…. MQM supports democracy and give opportunity to others also. Even today it is facing difficulty in the formation of City police and other CDGK issues. You can not deny that… It is easy to blame others. Simple rule, do not create hatred among human beings. Only we can and we will save Pakistan only by discouraging Taliban’s agenda. Do not criticise America or others… Live for your own self. No one is our enemy. Our enemy is within ourself. We should be economically strong and stable. Today’s news is that the girls school will be closed in Swat due to Taliban’s warning… How will you favour this action.

I think its about time we use criticism as a tool for development rather than a tool for demolition. We can jointly develop a strategy to work in unison to develop this country rather than bickering, fighting and going in circles while our enemy crushes us right, left and center. “i have just one question.where were those throat cutting acid spewing terrorist mullah before 2003/2004?”

They had started carrying out bomb attack on Pakistani soil well before any operation in tribal areas. As an example, May 09, 2002 attack on French engineers who were helping Pakistan build submarines and strengtheing our defences.

A man got sick, was taken to the hospital, went through some tests, and was diagnosed by doctors to have cancer. “I didn’t have cancer before I came to the hospital. You have given me cancer”, he shouted. Next week in hospital, his cancer got worse and he started coughing up blood. “I didn’t have this before I came to the hospital.” he added. Chemotherapy was started. His hair came off. “I had hair before I came to the hospital. You have destroyed my hair.” He further added. The cancer became worse and untreatable, and he died. His soul thought, “I was alive before I came to the hospital. The doctors have killed me”.

Now got some idea where these throat-cutting mullahs came from? This problem was already there, multiplying like cancer cells, until checked. This cancer was identified
well before 911 and Musharraf had started banning many terrorist organisations even before 911.

Quote: simultanously Iftikhar Choudhry’s issue popped up. He should not go to Karachi on May 12. The Urdu speaking people understand these politics and support Altaf Hussain

You seem to be having hallucinations that Ch. Iftikhar somehow should not have come to Karachi because the people of Karachi did not want it.

Pls refresh your memory, it was the thugs of Musharraf who roamed around the city on May-12 mascarrign 60 innocent people just to make a political score and undermining the successful ralies Mr. Iftikhar had gathered in his support.

May i remind you sir, that any Pakistani be he Iftikar Ch, Imran Khan or people from the tribal regions have full righs to travel and reside in any part of Pakistan on their own free will.

Offcourse this does not apply to those who have renounced their Pakistani citizenship in favour of British passports.

You know what, that’s one post of yours that makes you sound at least a wee bit of sane!
Right, so you want to have it appreciated the way Mushi treated those ‘terrorists’, yea?

Tell me why was the operation resumed in South Waziristan in 2004 when all was done and dusted with Mek Muhammad’s Jaish-ul-Qiba? Ceasefire done. Peace restored.
Probably our dear Mushi couldn’t stand the pimping of CIA and got Mek terminated, and thus the same old shit resumed, sadly.
What about North Waziristan’s Gul Bahadur? Same scene!
If he did do the best operation that could be done for ‘terrorists’ (mind you, they were the better half of the tribals, not the Beitullah Mehsud, the CIA kid.)

You see, the point here is the irrational and ill-patterned approach of him, dictated solely by Uncle sam. If only he had used his head and heart properly and employed his resources with this country’s interest in focus, probably he would have been at least a bit lesser satan!

p.s. I’m a pure anti-Mush, par see I still serve you with respect, mainly because I’m not taught to badtameez with the other gender (only in case you aren’t the male saathi version). Just want you to get levelled and answer properly whats laid on you, par you seem to get into the shell and turn the flap to spark on some other immature point to defend your US baby.

@unaiza: little girl,I think it was YOU who was passing personal comments on Rockefella’s looks and called Donkey to Nawaz Sharif’s looks? Don’t we all know that Allah has made everyone and it’s not in our hands to manipulate our looks. If this is something which is considered noble among your people then God save every one from such noble traits.

@Qazi Sahab, leave this lady alone. She rarely talks sense and doesn’t waste a moment to get personal if one disagrees. Feed her more will give her more courage to troll here. Move on! ๐Ÿ™‚

Future will tell that Musharraf is a great person. Allah has given him respect. Those who use street language on this forum may be less educated people. People should open their eyes because Musharraf was fighting those people who are now closing girls schools in Swat. Musharraf faught with Akbar Bugti, who was against Pakistan. Its a fact and no one can deny that Musharraf saved Pakistan.

    Long live Musharraf
