The president is making one mistake after another. He has made a the Judiciary, Senate, National assembly and provinces in to a joke. It is due to his recent decisions he has invited and gave the courage to others to call Pakistan a failing state. The President should not make the same mistakes as Musharaf who destroyed the fabric of the pakistan society, culture, constitution and rule of law. The PPP is not to blame directly for this and can prove this by raising their concerns. The Pakistani public want Real Islam,democracy and justice. I appeal to the PPP leaders and the PPP supporters to put pressure on the President to change his attitude and personality as it is not conducive to democracy , reconciliation and stability in Pakistan. The President should apologise for his recent behaviour and pick up the struggle that BB Shaheed left. The PPP leaders should stop making arguments to defend the mistakes of the President. They should also stop protecting the presidents errors in judgement. They should also stop changing what BB expected of PPP when she was alive and after her death. They should also put the spirit back in to the Party as ZAB and BB wanted. PPP leaders look really bad on TV defending what is wrong in the first place. Farzana Raja, Pervez Ashraf, Fowzia Wahab,Nabel Gabool should look at their recordings they appear very arrogant and frustrated. All the mentioned were respected in all parties but recently they have lost the faith of the nation, but this can change if they re-evaluate their stance. Pakistan must come first and not Zardari Sahib. It is still not late for the President to realise his mistakes and take the steps to put Pakistan on the track of True Democracy and True justice. Both can only be achieved with sincere intentions. Politics of principles must return to Pakistan. It is obvious that by restoring the 2/11 judiciary, scrapping 58(2)B and 17 amendment. legal action against General Musharaf and his subordinates for contravening article 6, increasing the powers of the PM and national assembly, giving more powers to the Provinces and respecting the mandate of all parties till the next elections ,are the initial action that are needed to create an environment for Democracy to thrive. PPP government must not allow this opportunity to go wasted as they may never get a chance to to bring change to Pakistan.

This Long March is useless. It will just create problems for the ordinary people. Though i believe that imposing Governor's rule in Punjab was a mistake and making Taseer Governor was a bigger one. Army will eventually take over the country and this country can break up again. There is already too much dislike for it in NWFP, Baloachistan and Sindh. Gen Kiyani please do not take over. If u do then it will be the biggest mistake ever.

totally disappointed to see performance of long march today, less than 1000 people were in Karachi and about 500 people with Kurd, and in media it is reported
Long March started from quetta and kurd is leading , PML (N),PTI, JI, PKMAP, Civil Society, Lawyers etc etc etc etc ..so it means that 10 parties can produce 500 people and remember in quetta police was doing nothing against participants rather they were giving them security..i am really disappointed , and it is a flop show today..totally flop

They say the people make the country…and until the people of this country change, there can't be any hope for improvement…Everyone's so quick to criticize Sana for saying she feels ashamed of being a Pakistani, but how many of you are really proud to be Pakistani in light of what is going on in this country nowadays? Corruption is rampant, terrorism is on the rise, number of people living below the poverty line is increasing, and overall safety levels are even decreasing. So stop with the pseudo-patriotism until you start changing yourselves into people who will actually benefit the future of this country.

The people have to stand up against their elected leaders. If the elected people dont work for the very people who put them in their seats; they dont have a right to work any further. Our people do not recognize the power they have over the parliament.
People living in Pakistan do not realise the implications of the actions of these jagirdars on the image of Pakistan outside the country. Living in a foreign land we are bombarded with questions and this really puts our name to shame. No wonder america calls Pakistan an unruly country and is actively trying to get its hand on the nuclear arsenal.
