In light of the recent success of the Long March movement, which may have been a victory for the people of Pakistan, one person that has truly lost out is Mr. Asif Ali Zardari and along with it has also dashed the hopes and dreams of his party which he hijacked a year or so back. It is now rumored that Sanam Bhutto is feisty and has in no small words lashed out at her brother-in-law in an interview with Benazir Bhutto’s close confidant Daphne Barak. Though the contents of the interview are yet to be made public
Sanam Bhutto is acting as the watchdog of Bilawal, Bakhtawar and Assefa’s interests and is concerned that other members of Zardari family are working to derive benefits.
The News 18th March 2009: Sanam has been very upset with Asif Zardari’s handling of the PPP that is the most precious political legacy of her father Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and her sister Benazir Bhutto. He betrayed her sister’s promises to the nation about restoration of judges, caused political friction to the point that led Pakistan to the brink of civil war and caused historic damage to the popular Pakistan People’s Party to the maximum extent. Reportedly Sanam Bhutto has said, My father, my brothers, my mother all of us suffered and made sacrifices for PPP and Asif Zardari has usurped it.
Though the interview is yet to be made public but it seem this might be the start of the much talked about PPP breakup where the old guard finally sums up the courage to stand up against the usurper who has conveniently occupied the Presidential Palace
Update March 18th 23:00 PST: In a clarification issued by Sanam Bhutto The News carries an update clarifying that Sanam Bhutto, the sister of slain PPP leader Benazir Bhutto, denied reports of any differences in Bhutto family she is claimed to have cordial relations with President Asif Ali Zardari and there was no property dispute between the Bhutto family and the President. “Bhutto family stands by President Zardari to resolve the challenges facing the country,” she added.

Weakening of Zardari would surely be in the interest of the whole nation. But lets wait and see the actual interview.
Excuse me,the article is written very cleverly to shift the whole blame of the March on PPP.
That is not the case.There are two things let us discuss them separately.
One is:Sanam Bhutto criticising Zardari,well that is their personal matter I do not know if Sanam should have made this criticism public or not.
Second is even when Benazir was in power her party and policey was totally different from her father ,Bhutto.
The point is who ever becomes the head they do things in their own way.So I think it is wrong to criticise Zardari that he is handling the matters in different ways and make it a family feud.
Indeed Zardari should follow the principal rules of the party.
Running Pakistan is the most difficult Job in the world.Oppertunist,world media,Afghanistan crises,human rights issues and internal political termoils are not easy o grapple with .
Remmeber Zardari is only in power for past eight months.

Her mother was human rights activist.Fatima writes poetry and has a political thought ,this is what I meant by personality.
I have not considerd her because she is a grand daughter of Bhutto but because she is an intelligent ,educated woman and has exposure to international politics.

Yes!there was an injustice when people migrated to Pakistan.
Little was done for them,but I born in seventies cannot say how the situation was than but I believe whole of Pakistan was in pretty bad shape.

Second you…what u did not mentioned is Fatima can bring people from all four provinces together. Using Bhutto name and her intellect. Break in PPP is righting on the wall, this time clean people will join Fatimah, but She wont be powerful as Benazir. All street smart and Q mindset will join Zardari. That means Zardari will become something like Jatoi or Khar. PPP will go to other group. Establishment has been promoting Fatimah for long time, Aitazaz, Naheed and Amin Fahim would be with him.

On Jung Group ,because I am from Lahore ,I have not come accross journalists who appreciate Nawaz.Trust me when I say Jung group is not pro any one but they do change their editorial lines quickly from a pro to anti.

First blood has been drawn with the restoration of CJ Iftikhar. The lawyers may not like it, but this was Punjab’s victory. And Zardari’s fault. Imposing governor’s rule in Punjab ensured Nawaz Sharif threw his lot in with the lawyers. Check the record, Sharif was wavering about the sit-in, asking questions of the lawyers, demanding to know more about time frames and objectives. Then came the bolt of lightning, upending his government in Punjab, and out the window went any talk of compromise.
While there will be few tears shed at seeing the back of Zardari and his government, spare a thought for the country. What comes next is dangerous for the federation. Until now, the PPP’s strength in Punjab meant that whoever else wanted to rule Pakistan had to reach out to the other provinces. But Sharif won’t be bothered by that inconvenience any more. Since his return to Pakistan he’d anyway shown little interest in building his party base in Sindh, Balochistan and the NWFP. Now he may not even bother to go through the motions.
So Zardari’s disastrous gamble has not just damaged him. It’s thrown Punjab into the arms of its new saviour. When Sharif’s time comes, he will necessarily respond to the province’s demands first and foremost. For anyone who understands the inter-provincial tensions that are always lurking just below the surface, that is truly a scenario from hell.

Pakistani Taliban are not a reaction to anything.They are organised training of poor orphans taken under the wings by the foreign funding.All Pakistanis are Muslims but generally we are moderate muslims .We cannot allow desendants of Egypt and Saudi outcast to buy lives of our children in a non sense war against West.

I do not think TEETH MAESTRO is a propoganda blog in any way.
Awab is quite impartial and I like his choice of posts,they are different and thought provoking.
He puts a challenge before people,that is why people are often at their worst while responding.
He makes us come out of our comfort zones.His choice of subject is often provocative but I find it excellent ,it allows one to take a deep breath and cut away from daily politics and think about behind the scene ,which is true politics.
He deserves a maddle though for covering the event of The March ,I am not supporter of Nawaz and have no time to watch TV but through his post the sentiment of the Lahore Streets was so real ,I did not miss a thing.

As per two leading dailies The News International and Daily Dawn and several Private TV Channels of Pakistan that the leaders of Pakistan Muslim League – Q [Shujaat League] are holding meetings with everybody to form government in Punjab. Altaf Hussain and MQM had always stood for Religious Harmony amongst several Sects of Muslims [all are in Pakistan] and both are dead opposed to any kind of Religious Extremism but this recent declaration of Altaf Hussain and MQM [and that too while sitting in cosy and peaceful Great Britain Britain] is beyond everybody's intellect. When Sunni Extremism is not acceptable then please deal the Shia Extremism with the same yardstick. By the way one thing I forget to mention that Syed Khomeini was a close and very dear friend of Syed Mawdudi of Jamat-e-Islami and everybody knows how extremely this Pervert Jamat-e-Islami and MQM love each other.

I could draw few conclusions out of Mr Hussain’s approach in 2002, 2004, and 2005:
He doesn’t like Benazir Bhutto at all – not even willing to get compared
He feels that Benazir Bhutto is only a power hungry politician
He charged Benazir as the founder of Taliban
He charged Benazir as killer of her own brother and purposely ignorant about killers
He feels that Benazir, a politician who had done nothing for Sind
And in 2009, same Mr Hussain is:
Die-hard lover of Benazir, rallying in her favour
Delivering 2 hours long speech, attributing her charismatic character
Fully ready to ignore her “Taliban Founder” character
Since last few months warning PPP-led provincial govt against resurgence of Taliban in Karachi
