A week back Rauf Klasra disclosed in his op-ed article in The News of a Federal Minister and a member of PPP Central Executive Committee who has recently sprung himself £4.3 million in cash to buy a six-bedroom flat adjacent to Marble Arch in London.
The Minister could barely afford a small apartment during his trips to London with Benazir Bhutto, bunking in with fellow colleagues and now within this short span has transferred hard cashthrough a money exchange dealer based in Islamabad, no mortgages, no loans, no IOU’s just hard solid cash exported to London.
Rauf Klasra does not name the minister but leaves enough of a bread crumb trail to possibly guess the name of the gentleman. Anyone care to venture a guess the name of this Honor-corrupt-able Minister?

If this sort of deceptive people are playing selfish games of stealing public funds, than the state should delete the word "Islamic" because it does not look nice that a thief is to carry the flag of an Islamic state. And no excuse to say that these theives have begged the money or even sold a part of Pakistan to the enemies – in any case, this Mr. Minister or his other crooks have misued rather 'abused' the votes. Never mind , there is always the next time!

The PPP Govenment,abusing votes,abusing power and abusing people of pakistan by imposing black water on them and securing their Government for by another 3 months or so (to secure further they have to fulfill further promises made with USA),all of the ppp MNAs and MPAs safeguarding their personal interests in the name of Shaheed Mutahrama Benezair Bhutto(I doubt she is shaheed even),and making a mockery of taking Shaheed's mission forward,but what is that mission? corruption? to govern people of Pakistan and providing with them with no modern day facility?i dont see any meg project credite to ppp's govt., although they name many including ipps which is a proven comission based project and now also rental power projects by virtue of which his Excellency Mr. Raja Parvez Ashraf bought flat which is flat by name but a whole kothi if we talk with reference to Pakistan,what is all this? I remember an episode in back to the future. One bad guy *finds* a way to make some money, then he buys police, they mayor and the whole society comes under siege by gangs.
These *new* millionaires of Pakistan are a sureity that corruption will rule Pakistan for next X number of years. These corrupt bastards are grown by our masters in order to fulfil their orders for generations to come.

Minister for Water and Power Raja Pervez Ashraf has sent a legal notice to opposition leader Faisal Saleh Hayat for levelling what he called false and malicious allegations of taking commission in the award of rental power contracts. The minister has also sought either an unconditional apology from the PML-Q leader or Rs1 billion in damages. The notice also clarified that the tariff of Independent Power Limited was 15.99 cent per unit, and not 18.17 cents per unit, as was claimed by the PML-Q leader. The notice further said that Mr Hayat had made another false statement that the minister had purchased an “expensive flat in London even before rental power plants began operation”.

SC cancels minister Syed Faisal Hayat's bail in loan default case by NAB [DAWN/THE NEWS INTERNATIONAL 8 March 2005, Tuesday, 26
ISLAMABAD, March 7: The Supreme Court cancelled on Monday the bail it had granted to federal minister Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat in July 2000.
"The appeal of Syed Faisal Hayat is dismissed and consequently July 5, 2000, stay against corruption proceedings before the accountability court is vacated and bail granted in his favour is also cancelled," says a 19-page detailed order issued here. On Thursday last, a three-member bench, comprising Chief Justice Nazim Hussain Siddiqui, Justice Javed Iqbal and Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar, had dismissed the appeal of Ms Shahida Faisal, the wife of Faisal Hayat, seeking to restrain the National Accountability Bureau from trying him on a wilful default of a bank loan.
Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat, is a bank robber and a thief. He robbed the United Bank Limited (UBL), Faisalabad, Pakistan, and stole 241,072 million rupees from the UBL by intentionally refusing to return a loan for his Shah Jewna Textile Mills to the bank, according to the Pakistan National Accountability Bureau (NAB) bank loan fraud case (NAB Lahore Reference No. 7/2000, Dated: 2-13-2000) is still pending against Hayat with the NAB and an Accountability Court. Many hearings of this bank robbery or willful default case of a bank loan have been held in courts of law during 27 October 2000 and 10 March 2005, but during the last five years the slave judges have miserably failed to convict Hayat for his high crimes. Instead of recovering the looted cash and throwing Hayat in a jail for a very long time, the corrupt Musharraf-Jamali Junta rewarded Hayat for embezzling public money by making him the federal Interior (Police) Minister and the corrupt Musharraf-Aziz Regime rewarded Hayat for stealing public funds by appointing him as the federal Kashmir Affairs Minister. The Supreme Court of Pakistan cancelled bail of Faisal Saleh Hayat on Monday, 7 March 2005, and referred his case to an Accountability Court.
It is only two names who might bought this flat in London.
