I still love Pakistan, Do You?

I Still Love Pakistan do youBarely four days left for the 60th anniversary of our beloved nation, but it seems that many citizens are just not motivated enough to celebrate this milestone. It appears that the people have been disheartened by the continuous political twists and turns that have besieged our country since the past few months which saw the attack on the the judiciary, the 5/12 massacre then the recent rumor of State of Emergency.

Its sad but the citizens of Pakistan just don’t feel patriotic enough to celebrate. Sensing this onset of depression Buzzvines has launched an ‘I still Love Pakistan, Do You?’ campaign just to bring out that patriotic spirit amongst Pakistanis.

I would suggest every Pakistani to take a moment and say a few words on why you love Pakistan and post it to the buzzvines site. My message posted on the site is as follows.

I love Pakistan, have done so throughout my life, and will love it forever.

Pakistan belongs to its people and not to the bunch of rotten corrupt politicians that have come and gone. Pakistan has been resilient enough to withstand the onslaught of corruption year after year for 60 years running, watching one tyrant after another make his own heaven on earth, even then my country withstood the onslaught and continued to serve its people. After a 60 year struggle it seems to be a little battle worn and tired and its now time for true Pakistanis like us, to stand up and give our nation a helping hand. It does not ask for much, just simply your love for the nation and maybe a good ruler at the helm of the ship and the courage to stand up and boldly say, I LOVE PAKISTAN very soon we shall see our efforts bear fruit and the new rising sun will take Pakistan into the skies like never before

Believe in Pakistan like never before and boldly say Pakistan Zindabad

I generally am not a big fan of Tag-blogging but feel this movement deserves to be promoted as much as possible, I have taken the liberty of tagging a few bloggers and hope that they all join the effort to promote this cause.

Love is never a noun. It’s a verb. It is not an equation on to its own. It is ONLY the reflection of how the equation has been put together. I do this or I do that and therefore I “love”. I cannot say I love Pakistan and have nothing to show “how” I have loved Pakistan. Stimulating an emotional response or sentiments of “love” is a precursor to patriotism and patriotism that manifests only on August 14 is just a celebration. How many of us can truly claim that they have celebrated their love for Pakistan every single day of the last many years of their life? I am ashamed to say I at least cannot make that tall claim.

I do LOVE PAKISTAN it’s just the Pakistani leaders need to love it and us too for a change rather then so gloriously being in love with their pockets that never stop getting bigger and heavier day by day. HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAKISTAN

A lot has been said recently about the political turmoil in Pakistan, its a good time to take a break from all the issues and chaos around us and pay some tribute to our country. This country has seen a lot and experienced a lot under both military and democratic regimes and its only a miracle that we can still proudly call ourselves citizens of a free land (so-called).
I love my country and that’s enough said.

I updated my blog too for the wishes.

It is true that one feels despondent over the current events. What exactly are we celebrating on 14 August? 60 years of a fool of a nation which has itself brought in corrupt leaders to govern themselves? It is the stark truth that in 60 years, we haven’t even achieved a part of what other nations have achieved in the same time.

It is the utter truth that the people get the leaders which they deserve.

However, it is high time we start acting ourself instead of blaming the government for everything we lack. Drops combine to fill the bucket. Let us hope the bucket called Pakistan gets filled soon.

A happy independence day to all my fellow countrymen and countrywomen. May Allah grant us today, the sense to choose sensible leaders in the upcoming elections.

yes, we have seen the continous political twists n turns, attack on the judiciary, 5/12 massacre but 14th August is a time to take a break and pay tibute to our country . we shoud not forget that it is our own country , it is our mother land. we should not disgrace our country. we are Pakistani , nothing will rever change it so be proud to be a Pakistani and beleive it to the core. Every country faces ups and downs but things will change one day.
Tomorrow is waiting to welcome Pakistan.
A very happy independence day to all Pakistanis [:)]

What I dreamt bout pak that Pakistan shudve been as bigger as it is india on map and its total population would be Muslims and india shudve been as small as pak on the map and its all population would be hindu.
Pakistan shudve been economy-wise as strong as china or Malaysia. its ruler shudve been poorer and its public shudve been richest and we wouldve followed Islam in our every aspect of life with heart & soul.
Lo all goes contrary to it..the country which has been created in the name of Islam has turn sadly so sadly i didnt want to say but ive to say,
Pakistan has turn just a cesspool of crime and corruption in this 60 years due to perverse politics/politician/policies=PPP
yet I love its soil as I born here so shall I die here?

    Dear Sir/Madam,
Dare to raise your voice for the inevitable socio-political change in Pakistan, to empower the Pakistani , the country belongs to.if you love pakistan

Since the creation of Pakistan the Pakistani people are left at distant from the corridor of power so that the ruling elite can do what they wanted to do in favour of their interest, leaving the Pakistani people at the mercy of circumstances. As this policy is denial of right of Pakistani people to rule their country according to their aspiration and desire to built this country, which can provide equal opportunity to all without any discrimination for the establishment of welfare society. Only the society base on tolerance, equality and justice can be the real guarantee for the prosperous and strong Pakistan there for your intention is invited to the crucial movement which could be the point of distraction or disaster.

We have already lost the major part of Pakistan in 1971 simply to save the centralised sole power to exploit this country by the ruling elite they let the country break in part then allowing the masses to rule this country democratically. In the present circumstances we are again dragging our sovereignty at stake for the external interest in the name of national interest, instead of our interest i.e. the interest of Pakistani people at large.

Mr.Musharaf, is not a problem nor the restoration of chief justice will make any difference but it is the prevailing socio-political system destroying the institution and victimizing the patriotic people like Dr.Qadeer khan ,who provide strong sense of security to the nation and the government humiliate him for the pleasure of others. At the same time Oppressed nationality also exploited and deprived from their due right and resources The current system ,where in transparency and accountability can not be established, is responsible for all this mess need to be change for prosperity of Pakistani, otherwise exploitation and injustice will continue to exist in one form or the other. Pakistani are deprived from their right to rule this country since last 60 years.

The only way out of these crucial circumstances is to empower the common Pakistani at grass route level i.e. the change of system. This change is inevitable for the prosperous Pakistan . Along with basic guarantees for the creation of welfare state, where in public representative and institution shall be answerable and accountable to the masses.
