In February 2008, Karen Armstrong won the TED Prize and called for the creation of a Charter for Compassion to bring together people of different religions and moral codes in a powerful common cause.
The Charter will proclaim a principle embraced by every faith, and by every moral code. It is often referred to as The Golden Rule.

O
That's a good leap forward
The real compassion is needed in the Heart and Mind of USA Administration.
Obama says step up the offensive……why Pakistan army should step up the offensive ,Taliban are killing us everyday in a bomb blast .
There is no house in NWFP which has not suffered as a result of attack of 9/11 at USA ,the response has been unleashed at the innocent civilians and millitary of Pakistan.
—-
USA instead of imbedding aid workers in Pakistan to soften the minds of Pakistanis must stop pursueing the war recklessly.
AT the cost of a human catastrophie struck at NWFP and Afghanistan,I am surprised people have guts to preach us compassion.
—–
They need to preach this to Condaliza Rice ,George Bush and their now administration.
—-
Pakistanis are deying …..for the few deads in USA in twin tower ,we have tears and grave yards with our dear ones burried,so how much more compassion are we suppose to show to USA war ?????
Pakistan is a compassionate society ,we have shown hospitality beyond measure to Afghans and friendship ,trust and mutual agreement to USA and the world, what are we getting in response?????

Muslims must not offer their second cheeck for a slap when they have recieved once.

I am so fedup of NGO's from India and from forign countries playing up nice tea parties in Pakistan
Help Eidhie !Donate them….
Try to avoid bomb blasts in Pakistan during the time of EID and during Haj it is a time of peace.
Try to bring awareness and people more involved with the local intelligence and police to help stop terror attacks.
this is the need of hour
Life seems a joke to me:
people in Europe campaign to save Dolphins ,
"Denmark is a big shame. The sea is stained in red and in the mean while its not because of the climate effects of nature.
It's because of the cruelty that the human beings (civilised human) kill hundreds of the famous and intelligent Calderon dolphins."
People in USA and Europe campaign to save the climate ,while we are butuchered helplessly and on top of it balmed as terrorists of the world.
Most dangereous country in the world.
Who will campaign for us?????
Great but please don't forget poor. Having such gatherings at Malls, hotels or places like that is a good thing but small towns, small colonies need more attention because people there are much deprived of peace and amenities.
I am happy that people are engaging in these useful activities and feeling the pain of others.
Look at Rahman Dakait, he terms the transparency report a conspiracy against Pakistan….

Rahman Dakait and his alpha Zardari Dakait and Kiyani Dakait are the biggest conspiracy hatched against pakistan.
you need to post about this
The 117-page study, titled The Israel Project’s 2009 Global Language Dictionary, was commissioned by the nonprofit group, which aims to promote Israel’s side of the story, and leaked to NEWSWEEK. It includes chapters with such titles as “How to Talk About Palestinian Self Government and Prosperity” and “The Language of Tackling a Nuclear Iran.”
The report is strewn with bolded examples of “Words That Work” and “Words That Don’t Work,” alongside rhetorical tips such as “Don’t talk about religion” and “No matter what you’re asked, bridge to a productive pro-Israel message.” Taken together, the 18 chapters offer a fascinating look at the way Israel and its supporters try to shape the public debate in their favor.
