Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain a famous religious host of a show called Aalim Online which airs frequently on Geo TV has entered some hot waters in the past few days. It is believed that his comments on the show may have incited Muslims to target and kill followers of the Ahmedi sect. Dr. Aamir has been running this show for the past many years and has developed a strong following catapulting him to fame to the extent that many Pakistanis swear by his religious commentary on TV, and remains a highly sought after show specially during the month of Ramadan.
Historically Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain has had his taste of controversy which started of from his fake degrees where this blogger had labeled him as Jahil Online back in 2005, he was then associated with MQM for a few years and ultimately had a falling out with the party over a controversial comment he made on TV condemning the British author Salman Rushdie, saying that Salman Rushdie should be killed for blaspheming the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in his book, Satanic Verses, after making this comment Mr. Online refused to retract his statement despite immense pressure from the top London based MQM leadership which ultimately lead to his dismissal and soon he also resigned from his Ministry
Asian Human Rights Watch reports that on 7th September in his program ‘Aalim Online’ the anchor declared the murder of Ahmadi sect members to be necessary (Wajib ul Qatal) according to Islamic teachings, because its followers don’t believe in the last prophet, Mohammad, peace be upon him.
Dr. Amir repeated his instruction several times, urging fundamentalists Muslims to kill without fear. While on air the anchor person also pressured the other two Islamic scholars (from two different sects) on the program to support the statement. This resulted in a unanimous decision among the scholars, on air during a popular television show, to urge lynching with the intent to kill.
This was not a one-off. On September 9, Mr. Hussain answered a query with the comment that blasphemers are liable to be put to death.
According to the information received, at 1:15pm on September 8, 18 hours after the broadcast, six persons entered the Fazle Umer Clinic, a two-story hospital at Mirpurkhas city and two of them went to the second floor and started pressuring 45 year-old Dr. Abdul Manan Siddiqui to come downstairs to attend to a patient in crisis. Dr. Manan left his office and descended into an ambush. He was shot 11 times and died on the spot. His private guard was also shot and is in a serious condition. A woman was also injured by firing. The killers remained at the hospital until the doctor was declared dead, then they walked out of the building’s front entrance. Police registered the killers as unknown.
On September 9, 48 hours after the broadcast, Mr. Yousaf, a 75 year-old rice trader and district chief of the Ahmadi sect was killed on his way to prayer in Nawab Shah, Sindh province. Yousaf was fired on from people on motor bikes, and sustained three bullet wounds. He died on the way to the hospital. The assailants had taken a route past a police station. No one was arrested.

I would request all my fella Muslims who shout on somebody calling something against our Holy Prophet (PBUH). They should first of all see what the prophet believed and practised. It was his compassion, his kindness and his love, his blessing to everybody no matter a believr, non believer, Christian, Jew, pagan or anybody and that is what made most of the people in Arabia and elsewhere to come to the fold of Islam.
Here in the subcontnent again, it were not the nullahs of yesteryears nor the kings who convinced the non believers to convert to the final message of Islam.
Now if somebody has a different opinion, let this be decided by Allah and not by these so called jan-nisaaran-e-Islam.
I firmly believe if all those Muslim brothers who get excited, enraged and emotional, should just follow the path set upon by the Holy Prophet (PBUH) himself, may be they will understand how the love, compassion and kindness moves the heart of people, whether Ahmadis, Christians, Hindus or any other sect or faith.

To straighten the facts let me tell you that Braheen e Ahmadiyya has 50 volumes because Mirza Sb promised Muslims to write 50 volumes of a book which will prove that Islam is the true religion and people will become Muslims by leaps and bounds. Then Mirza Sb wrote 5 volumes and said my promise is fulfilled because there is only a difference of a dot between 5 & 50. Do you find it ridiculous – yes it is. But it is written in Vol 5 which you think does not exist. Please go to the link, open the book. Read it in complete and full context, it will be very clear that Mirza Sb is explaining that Allah has made two loves. Love of God and love of sex. When you will to paradise these loves will be of such a nature that will become so similar if you have sex with your wife, you won’t be sure if you had sex or you loved God. Whereas, people like Mirza Sb who are very pious get this status even in this world and they cannot differentiate if they had sex or said the prayer.
Then Mirza Sb has explained in detail that when you enter sperms into the internal genitals of a woman it gives you great delight. Then you he also explains when you remember God you start crying and your tears jump out of the eyes (a few feet may be) just like sperms jump out during ejaculation.

There is a viral attack afflicting our inboxes these days fueled by anger, piety and resentment.
The object of people’s rage is a program on Geo , in which the anchor Amir Liaquat Hussain , allegedly called for the ‘lynching’ of all Ahmedis. As a TeamGeo member I was horrified that our channel , which has its motto the phrase , ‘Geo aur Jeeney Do’, could have stooped to such lows. Especailly since we are always accused by the conservatives in society against our many programs and projects like Zara Sochieye, Khuda Kay Liye and Ghamidi. I was also very disturbed to read the Asian Human Rights report on the subject and felt the collective guilt of having caused the deaths of 2 Ahmedis.
I am not a great fan of Amir Liaquat, and not many liberals or elite are. However, I must admit that his popular , show Alim on Line , did for the first time , bring together Alim’s from the Sectarian divide on to the same platform and their discussions helped greatly in bridging the viewpoints of these two great sects of Islam. This show has a vast appeal and has helped a large member of youth, women and men to resolve their confusions about the teachings of Islam.
That said , I was still very perturbed with what occurred on 7th September on Geo. I decided to try and get to the truth of the matter. I asked for a copy of the program and saw it myself. I realized how mob fury can be inflamed by sheer hearsay and exaggeration as well as through personal bias of people against Dr Aamir.
Nowhere in the program did Dr Amir or the three guests call for the death of Ahmedis. The discussion initially was based on history and how the Prophet (PBUH) and the Sahaba dealt with the emergence of ‘False Prophets’. It kept emphasizing that all Muslims must believe that Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) was the seal of the Prophets and was the last messenger of God. The first guest gave us a background of the Ahmediya controversy and how the Bhutto government declared them outside the pale of Islam in the 70’s.
He also took us through the constitutional implications of that parliamentary excommunication. The scholar did not at any point call for any lynching of the Ahmedi’s.
Amir then turned to his two studio guests’ including a Shia and Sunni Alim. Both of them stated categorically that they believed that False Prophets are punishable by death and gave much references to religious text and tradition. They also heaped scorn on the founder of the movement, which I personally felt was in bad taste, but refrained from any exhortation to kill Ahmedi’s.
I decided to transcribe that portion of program which I am attaching to this mail. I think this should clear some of the air.
I am also privy of the fact that the management of Geo held a series of meetings and took the matter very seriously. They made sure that the program was not repeated nor telecast outside Pakistan. Amir Liaquat followed up with his own regret in subsequent programs and the President of Geo went on the BBC and offered his apologies to those whose sentiments were hurt by the broadcast. Geo, however, does not feel that a causal link can be established between the program and the tragic killings because there was absolutely no exhortation to do so by Amir and the three scholars. I also feel that the Asian Human Rights report was based entirely on hearsay and not on facts. They need to correct their position after either viewing the program or going through the transcript.
The Ahmedi issue is a very sensitive one and it cannot be discussed or debated openly because it opens up too many wounds. When we cannot have a balanced discussion on a topic, it is better to leave it alone . Otherwise, we will err and subvert our philosophy of Geo Aur Jeeney Do. I trust that our management will also ensure that if at all this matter is discussed in a tv programme, the point of view of the Ahmedi’s must be incorporated.
All of which should not let us ignore the references from the Ahmedi website alislam.org given by Mr. Newobserver a few comments above regarding the existance of Braheen Ahmadiyya – Vol. 5, which our friend Mr. Irfan Ahmed so conveniently chose to ignore. Typical behaviour of Ahmedis, I would say……

First of all I am glad that you have used a much more respectful tone than most of the non-Ahmadi posters in this thread.
Secondly, I am not representing the Ahmadiyya Community to respond to your email, everything I would say will be my personal view and shouldn’t be taken as an official verdict of the Community regarding the issue.
Now, I have seen the recording of the program and it makes my heart boil to listen to the absolutely filthy language against the Ahmadiyya Community and the Founder of the Ahmadiyya Commmunity whome we consider to be the awaited Imam Mahdi and the Messiah. Moreover the way Mullahs in the program told lies openly regarding the beliefs of the Ahmadiyya Community and the writings of the Promised Messiah just makes me sick. These Mullahs only make my faith even firmer and stronger than ever before and give me the opportunity to thank my Allah Almighty who kept us away from the evil of the Mullah of today. For a righteous and unbiased non-Ahmadi Muslim this program should be a proof enough that Ahmadiyyat is the true Islam. Why would the enemies of Ahmadiyyat tell lies to show their “truth”. They would only do it to misguide those who want guidance.
Now you are a Pakistani and would know it pretty well how emotional this nation of Pakistanis is. Being emotional is not a bad thing but when you emotionally blackmail a nation that is largely illiterate and can easily be provoked religiously, and that too by telling lies and deception, then you are equally responsible for whatever happens next.
The program used the term “Wajibul Qatl (liable to death)” many a time in the program and not once they cleared in the program what exactly they were saying. Moreover they continued to use the term “Fitna” addressing Ahmadiyya Muslim community again and again in the program.
Now you said in your post that our Moto is “Geo aur Jeeno do” ie. Live and let live. If Geo management has got any decency left in them and if they truly are ashamed of the program, then they should allow Ahmadi Scholars to come in the same program and give their side of the story. They should be given equal amount of time to clear up all the misconceptions spread by the program host and the panel.
Now you say that Amir Liaqat has himself followed up with his own regret in subsequent programs, I don’t agree with you. I will give you the editorial that he wrote in Jang News paper (a branch of Geo Network) where he again re-iterated the fact that he had no remorse of his actions, but on the contrary he continued with his non-sense in the article:

This article is written AFTER the telecast of the program and AFTER the involvement of international organisations in the matter.
You also claimed that Aalim online was influential in bridging the gaps between Sunnis and Shias because of the representation of both sects under one roof. You acknowledge that DISCUSSION has lead to decrease the misconceptions between the communities. But later in the same post you say that Ahmadiyya issue is a sensitive issue so it shouldn’t be DISCUSSED. My friend it is discussion and reasoning debate that helps bringing comminities together and not by brushing the issue under the carpet. Geo has telecast a horrific program against the Ahmadiyya Community by telling lies and and encouraging deception. As a result two peaceful Ahmadi Muslim leaders have lost their lives within a time period of 48 hours after broadcast of the program. This issue is not a small one which will be forgotten just by a small interview by the Geo representative in BBC urdu radio. Even in the interview the representative used the word “Qadiani” when addressing Ahmadis knowing that this is not what we call ourselves but this is a name given to us by our Enemies.
If Geo is truly ashamed of its actions, then they should take proper steps to show their regret. By allowing Amir Liaqat to continue with his program, they do not help the issue to resolve. Aamir Liaqat should apologise in the program that what he did was inhumane let alone unIslamic and he would give Ahmadis the chance to come in the same program and explain their point of view on the issues that were raised in the earlier program.

Dear people, first if you want to criticise some religion then you have to study it first. in the dark ages when islam brought its light there were so many traditions like getting married with 4 years old etc, then islam put the restriction that the age has to be minimum this (in worst circumstnaces). remember islam restricted but didnt ask you to do same. same with number of marriages. There is a viral attack afflicting our inboxes these days fueled by anger, piety and resentment.
The object of people’s rage is a program on Geo , in which the anchor Amir Liaquat Hussain , allegedly called for the ‘lynching’ of all Ahmedis. As a TeamGeo member I was horrified that our channel , which has its motto the phrase , ‘Geo aur Jeeney Do’, could have stooped to such lows. Especailly since we are always accused by the conservatives in society against our many programs and projects like Zara Sochieye, Khuda Kay Liye and Ghamidi. I was also very disturbed to read the Asian Human Rights report on the subject and felt the collective guilt of having caused the deaths of 2 Ahmedis.
I am not a great fan of Amir Liaquat, and not many liberals or elite are. However, I must admit that his popular , show Alim on Line , did for the first time , bring together Alim’s from the Sectarian divide on to the same platform and their discussions helped greatly in bridging the viewpoints of these two great sects of Islam. This show has a vast appeal and has helped a large member of youth, women and men to resolve their confusions about the teachings of Islam.
That said , I was still very perturbed with what occurred on 7th September on Geo. I decided to try and get to the truth of the matter. I asked for a copy of the program and saw it myself. I realized how mob fury can be inflamed by sheer hearsay and exaggeration as well as through personal bias of people against Dr Aamir.
Nowhere in the program did Dr Amir or the three guests call for the death of Ahmedis. The discussion initially was based on history and how the Prophet (PBUH) and the Sahaba dealt with the emergence of ‘False Prophets’. It kept emphasizing that all Muslims must believe that Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) was the seal of the Prophets and was the last messenger of God. The first guest gave us a background of the Ahmediya controversy and how the Bhutto government declared them outside the pale of Islam in the 70’s.
He also took us through the constitutional implications of that parliamentary excommunication. The scholar did not at any point call for any lynching of the Ahmedi’s.
Amir then turned to his two studio guests’ including a Shia and Sunni Alim. Both of them stated categorically that they believed that False Prophets are punishable by death and gave much references to religious text and tradition. They also heaped scorn on the founder of the movement, which I personally felt was in bad taste, but refrained from any exhortation to kill Ahmedi’s.
I decided to transcribe that portion of program (unfortunately unable to attach it here to the comments). I think this could have cleared some of the air.
I am also privy of the fact that the management of Geo held a series of meetings and took the matter very seriously. They made sure that the program was not repeated nor telecast outside Pakistan. Amir Liaquat followed up with his own regret in subsequent programs and the President of Geo went on the BBC and offered his apologies to those whose sentiments were hurt by the broadcast. Geo, however, does not feel that a causal link can be established between the program and the tragic killings because there was absolutely no exhortation to do so by Amir and the three scholars. I also feel that the Asian Human Rights report was based entirely on hearsay and not on facts. They need to correct their position after either viewing the program or going through the transcript.
The Ahmedi issue is a very sensitive one and it cannot be discussed or debated openly because it opens up too many wounds. When we cannot have a balanced discussion on a topic, it is better to leave it alone . Otherwise, we will err and subvert our philosophy of Geo Aur Jeeney Do. I trust that our management will also ensure that if at all this matter is discussed in a tv programme, the point of view of the Ahmedi’s must be incorporated.

First of all the way you address someone we consider to be the true Promised Messiah and Mahdi is only informing us about your version of Islam. I only thank Allah for not making me follow your version of Islam.
I have read the reference from the amazing writings of the Promised Messiah (AS) on the issue of “Khushoo”. I only went three, four pages back and everything became very clear to me. If you had gone through the text with an unbiased attitude, you would have seen nothing but wisdom there. The text is very clear and full of wisdom. The Promised Messiah (AS) is explaining the verses of the Holy Quran from the Chapter “Al-Mominoon”. In the first few verses of the chapter the six stages of spiritual life are mentioned by Allah Almighty, and after a few verses later Allah Almighty mentions the six stages of physical life in the following words:
[23:13/14] Then We placed him as a drop of sperm in a safe depository;
[23:14/15] Then We fashioned the sperm into a clot; then We fashioned the clot into a shapeless lump; then We fashioned bones out of this shapeless lump; Then We clothed the bones with flesh; Then We developed it into another creation. So blessed be Allah, the Best of creators.
The Promised Messiah (AS) explains that according to these verses of Holy Quran, the first stage of spiritual life is “Khashiat of Allah” and similarly according to these verses of the Holy Quran, the first stage of physical life is when the drop of a sperm enters the ‘safe depositary’. The rest of the passage is self explanatory and any unbiased, righteous and unprejudiced soul will have no option but to acknowledge the beauty of the explanation of these verses by Muhammad’s Messiah (AS).
So I would now advise you stop spreading lies and start looking into the truth of Ahmadiyyat with pure heart. It will only benefit you and no one else. I can only advise you the rest is certainly up to you and you will be responsible for your actions before God. Now come to the topic of discussion and start discussing the real issues that according to the Mullahs in the program ‘take us’ out of the fold of Islam. If you have any Taqwah (righteousness) then discuss the issues with the help of Quran.

First of all I am glad that you have used a much more respectful tone than most of the non-Ahmadi posters in this thread.
Secondly, I am not representing the Ahmadiyya Community to respond to your email, everything I would say will be my personal view and shouldn’t be taken as an official verdict of the Community regarding the issue.
Now, I have seen the recording of the program and it makes my heart boil to listen to the absolutely filthy language against the Ahmadiyya Community and the Founder of the Ahmadiyya Commmunity whome we consider to be the awaited Imam Mahdi and the Messiah. Moreover the way Mullahs in the program told lies openly regarding the beliefs of the Ahmadiyya Community and the writings of the Promised Messiah just makes me sick. These Mullahs only make my faith even firmer and stronger than ever before and give me the opportunity to thank my Allah Almighty who kept us away from the evil of the Mullah of today. For a righteous and unbiased non-Ahmadi Muslim this program should be a proof enough that Ahmadiyyat is the true Islam. Why would the enemies of Ahmadiyyat tell lies to show their “truth”. They would only do it to misguide those who want guidance.
Now you are a Pakistani and would know it pretty well how emotional this nation of Pakistanis is. Being emotional is not a bad thing but when you emotionally blackmail a nation that is largely illiterate and can easily be provoked religiously, and that too by telling lies and deception, then you are equally responsible for whatever happens next.
The program used the term “Wajibul Qatl (liable to death)” many a time in the program and not once they cleared in the program what exactly they were saying. Moreover they continued to use the term “Fitna” addressing Ahmadiyya Muslim community again and again in the program.
Now you said in your post that our Moto is “Geo aur Jeeno do” ie. Live and let live. If Geo management has got any decency left in them and if they truly are ashamed of the program, then they should allow Ahmadi Scholars to come in the same program and give their side of the story. They should be given equal amount of time to clear up all the misconceptions spread by the program host and the panel.
Now you say that Amir Liaqat has himself followed up with his own regret in subsequent programs, I don’t agree with you. I will give you the editorial that he wrote in Jang News paper (a branch of Geo Network) where he again re-iterated the fact that he had no remorse of his actions, but on the contrary he continued with his non-sense in the article:

This article is written AFTER the telecast of the program and AFTER the involvement of international organisations in the matter.
You also claimed that Aalim online was influential in bridging the gaps between Sunnis and Shias because of the representation of both sects under one roof. You acknowledge that DISCUSSION has lead to decrease the misconceptions between the communities. But later in the same post you say that Ahmadiyya issue is a sensitive issue so it shouldn’t be DISCUSSED. My friend it is discussion and reasoning debate that helps bringing comminities together and not by brushing the issue under the carpet. Geo has telecast a horrific program against the Ahmadiyya Community by telling lies and and encouraging deception. As a result two peaceful Ahmadi Muslim leaders have lost their lives within a time period of 48 hours after broadcast of the program. This issue is not a small one which will be forgotten just by a small interview by the Geo representative in BBC urdu radio. Even in the interview the representative used the word “Qadiani” when addressing Ahmadis knowing that this is not what we call ourselves but this is a name given to us by our Enemies.
If Geo is truly ashamed of its actions, then they should take proper steps to show their regret. By allowing Amir Liaqat to continue with his program, they do not help the issue to resolve. Aamir Liaqat should apologise in the program that what he did was inhumane let alone unIslamic and he would give Ahmadis the chance to come in the same program and explain their point of view on the issues that were raised in the earlier program.

“In this chapter some Quranic verses will be mentioned which show that Allah has made it obligatory to declare faith in all messengers and has called as kafir those who do not consider it necessary to believe in all prophets.”
“This objection shows the lack of knowledge of the objector. We find that the Promised Messiah has permitted us to have only that relationship with non-Ahmadis which the Holy Prophet Muhammad permitted with Christians.” (p. 169)
“The fool does not realise that ‘Muhammad is the messenger of Allah’ was put in the Kalima because he is the crowning head of the prophets and the Khatam-un-nabiyyin. By mentioning his name all other prophets are implicitly included. There is no need to mention the name of everyone separately. Admittedly, the coming of the Promised Messiah has created one difference, and that is that before his coming the significance of the words ‘Muhammad is the messenger of Allah’ included (besides the Holy Prophet) only the prophets before the Holy Prophet Muhammad, but after the coming of the Promised Messiah one more prophet was added to the significance of these words. … In other words, the same Kalima is still to be used for admission into Islam, the difference merely being that the coming of the Promised Messiah has added one more messenger to the significance of the words ‘Muhammad is the messenger of Allah’.”
Below is an article from the book “The Truth About The Split” written by Mirza Mahmood Ahmad, the so called promosed refomer of Islam and s/o the so called prophet Mirza Ghulam Ahmad. (who was apparently the promised Messiah of Islam)
“Regarding the main subject of my article, I wrote
that as we believed the Promised Messiahas to be one
of the Prophets of God, we could not possibly regard
his deniers as Muslims. It is true we did not consider
them to be kafir billah, (deniers of God), but how
could we doubt that, they were kafir-bil-ma’mur
(deniers of a God’s Messenger)? Those who say that
they regarded Mirza Sahib as a righteous person and
so did not deserve to be called kuffar, ought to
consider whether a righteous person ever spoke an
untruth. If Mirza Sahibas, was indeed a righteous
person, what possible objection could there be to their
subscribing to his claim. After this, the article
proceeded to quote passages from the writings of the
Promised Messiahas to show that he regarded his
deniers as kuffar. Some of the passages, quoted in the
article, are reproduced here in brief: To the apostate
Abdul Hakim of Patiala, he wrote: “At any rate, when
the great God has revealed to me that every body
whom my Call has reached and who has failed to
accept my claim, is not a Muslim, and is liable to
account before God, how can I at the instance of one
individual, whose heart is steeped in a thousand
darknesses, ignore the command of God. It is easier to
cut off such a one from my Community. Accordingly
from this date I hereby exclude you from the
Community of my followers.” Following this, I
proceeded to explain the purport of the above passage
in the following words. “The above words apply not
merely to those who take an active part in denouncing
the Promised Messiahas; but every person who fails to
accept him is not a Muslim. Further on, I explained, in
the words of the Promised Messiahas himself, the
meaning he attached to the expression “reaching of
Call.” This was that the Promised Messiahas had made
his Call reach every part of the globe, and hence the
whole world might be said to have received his Call.
It was unnecessary for this purpose that the
information should be carried separately to each
individual. After this, I went on to prove from the
writings of the Promised Messiahas that those who did
not explicitly style the Promised Messiahas as a kafir
but nor did they accept his claim, were to be classed
with those who styled him as a kafir; so also were
those who only waited for fuller information and put
off entering into his Bai‘at. Then in my own words. I
summarised the purport of the quotations as follows:
“Thus, according to these quotations, not only are
those deemed to be kuffar, who openly style the
Promised Messiahas as kafir, and those who although
they do not style him thus, decline still to accept his
claim, but even those who, in their hearts, believe the
Promised Messiahas to be true, and do not even deny
him with their tongues, but hesitate to enter into his
Bai‘at, have here been adjudged to be kuffar.” After
this, some more quotations were given in support of
the main contention, and the weakness implicit in the
overture for friendship was exposed, and the Promised
Messiah’sas fatwa (pronouncement) which forbade
Ahmadis to pray behind non-Ahmadi Imams was
quoted. And lastly, it was argued from a verse of the
Holy Quran that such people as had failed to
recognise the Promised Messiahas as a Rasul even if
they called him a righteous person with their tongues,
were yet veritable kuffar.
Such was my article which was twice read
through by Hadrat Khalifatul Masihra, and corrected in
several places in his own hand, and regarding the
purport of which he remarked that he had no
difference whatsoever. Now, after reading the above
and after perusing those passages which I have
quoted, is it possible for any intelligent person to
imagine that Hadrat Khalifatul Masihra could possibly
take the article to say no more than that those who did
not accept Hadrat Mirza Sahib were only deniers of
Hadrat Mirza Sahib?”

I usually dont take part in these conversations as they keep on going in loops..but let me just clear this up for Mr Christopher or whoever he is…
The approach of most non muslims is always top down instead of bottom up..Obviously you would have never studied the Quran in detail and all you heard about was marriages of the propher etc.
Let me clear that up first…by saying that we shouldnt go into history is absolutely ridiclous…you tell me the america of the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. what was the role of women then. Can you compare it with today. Look at the Amish people in the US. They still marry young girls.
In Islam the age of marriage starts from when a girl reaches puberty. Now going back to the time of the prophet it was very common to get married to any girl who had reached puberty. In those days the Arabs used to marry many times and even before the girls reached puberty (something which Islam put an end to). Secondly you really have to delve into the prophets life and see the matchless love that existed between companions of the prophet and him.Dying for him was a no brainer. Giving a daughter to him in marriage was the biggest honor ofcourse after she had reached marriagable age. Finally your question on would I give my sister or daughter in marriage to someone of that age, I certainly would have if that was the prevalent custom today. Now, because of the social setup, education and all that comes with it, nobody would ask for someones daughter at that age nor would anyone agree to get married this young. The point here is that God makes those biological changes in women and men (what we call puberty) for a reason. Based on this we can agree that once girls reach puberty they can conceive and hence be married…so dont try to extract an answer for something that has changed socially today….. having said all this now i would tell you what the bottom up design it.
I can give you countless verses as regards the miracles of the Quran. Just to give you a quick example it was always believed that the earth was flat. Google up and find out when the scientist found out about the shape of the earth. Now go back to a book which was revealed 1400 years ago and which clearly states how the earth was round and how it was moving about its own axis..even non muslims agree that the Quran is preserved in its original form something which God himself has promised. This is just a tiny example of the truth. Im amazed that those who reject faith go about misinterpreting verses and trying to hide behind illogical reasoning. First you read the Quran with an open heart…then if by Gods will you are convinced, relate that to the prophets life and you will get rid of all misconceptions…finally jesus has the utmost respect as a prophet in our hearts and it will always be the same..i would be a better person and not point out the inconsistencies in the bible somehting which can shred your belief to pieces…the choice will always be ours..whether to run away from the truth taking shelter in accusations..or going forward and reading to expand our knowledge…..as the Qurans very first revealed verse states..”Read in the name of thy Lord”..

What is Islam by Ahmadies?
Islam, a name given by Allah to this religion (Quran 5:4), is an Arabic word which literally means obedience and peace. ISLAM is derived from the Arabic root “SALEMA”: peace, purity, submission and obedience. So ‘Islam’ would mean the path of those who are obedient to Allah and who establish peace with Him and His creatures. Its follower are called Muslims.
Islam is not a new religion. It is, in essence, the same message and guidance which Allah revealed to all prophets before Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. Allah says in the Qur’ân:
“Say, `We believe in ALLAH and that which has been revealed to us, and that which was revealed to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the tribes, and in that which was given to Moses and Jesus and other Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them and to HIM we submit.” (Qur’ân 3-85)
Khataman-Nabiyyeen Through the Eyes of Hazrat Promised Messiah (as)
According to the Laws of God Almighty stated in the Holy Quran, the door to prophethood in Islam will remain open till the end of this world (7:36). Only Allah has the power to choose prophets (16:3) and prophethood is the highest grace from Him and He bestows it on whomsoever He pleases (62:5). The rule now is:
And whoso obeys Allah and this perfect Messenger shall be among those on whom Allah has bestowed His blessings, i.e. the Prophets, the Truthful, the Martyrs, and the Righteous. And they are an excellent company. (4 [Al-Nisa]:70)
The Holy Quran is the Perfect Book (2:3) and is the Complete Law (5:4). Therefore, only an ummati Prophet can appear in Islam, who is obedient to Allah and follows the Khataman-Nabiyyeen, the Perfect Messenger of Allah. No new Law (Shariah) is needed but a true prophet is always a mercy from Allah sent to purify people and guide them back to Allah. (79:19-20)
The Promised Messiah and Mahdi Alaihislam
The Promised Messiah and Mahdi of this age was Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (1835-1908) of Qadian, India, who came at the appointed time from Allah in accordance with the Prophecy of the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. He was sent to revive the true Islam as revealed to the Holy Prophet by Allah in the Holy Quran. He was an ummati Prophet. During his life on this earth he wrote more than eighty books which are truly a running commentary of the Holy Quran and show his dedication to the cause of Islam for the love of Allah and the Holy Prophet. Under Allah’s command he established his jamaat as Ahmadiyya Movement In Islam to unite all humanity in love and peace under the banner of his master, Muhammad Mustafa Sallallaho alaihe wasallam, the Khataman-Nabiyyeen.
The Promised Messiah’s Sacred Writings
A person with even very little intellect and some honesty and fear of Allah can easily discover by reading the sacred writings of the Promised Messiah that he was indeed from Allah and his writings contain nothing but the truth about Islam in its purest form. What does he say about the Holy Prophet? A small sample of his writings is presented here for the discerning critic and enlightened readers:
The gist of our faith is: la ilaha illallaho Muhammad-ur-rasoolullah (There is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.) Our belief, which we hold in this life here on earth and to which we will continue to adhere firmly till the time that we pass on to the next world, is that our spiritual leader and Master, Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, is khataman-nabiyyeen, the seal of the prophets and the best of the messengers. At his hands religion has been consummated which guide man on the right path and further on to God Himself. We hold this belief with absolute certainty that the Holy Quran is the khatamul-kutub, the seal of all divine books, and not an iota can be added to or subtracted from its prescribed teachings, inhibitions, commands and injunctions. There will be no revelation or word from God which may amend or abrogate or change or alter any of the injunctions of the Holy Quran. If anyone subscribes to such views, in our opinion, he ceases to belong to the body of believers and becomes a heretic and an infidel thereby.

We do believe that there is none worthy of worship except God Almighty and Sayyadena Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, is His Messenger and khatamul-anbiya. We believe that Angels, Resurrection, Day of Judgment, Heaven and Hell all are reality.

It would not have been possible for me to have attained this grace if I had not followed the footsteps of my lord and master, the pride of all prophets, the best of mankind, Muhammad, the chosen one, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. Whatever I have achieved by following him, and I know from my truly verified experience that no man can reach God to obtain a deeper understanding of His ways without following this Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. Now, let me also make it known that the very first thing you are rewarded with, after having completely submitted yourself to the instructions and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, is that you are granted new heart which is always rightly inclined. Such heart loses all love for this material world and instead it begins to yearn for an everlasting and unending heavenly pleasure. Having achieved this sublime state, your heart is now ready to receive that perfect and purest love of God. All these blessings are bequeathed to you as a spiritual heritage because of your complete obedience to the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.

I have been made to understand that of all the Messengers, the one who brought the perfect and purest of teachings full of wisdom, and one who exhibited in him the noblest of human qualities, is the Holy Prophet Muhammad, our lord and master, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.

From a study of the life of the Holy Prophet, khatamal-anbiya, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, it will become manifest to every reader that the Holy Prophet of Islam possessed exemplary character with purest heart. He was ever ready to sacrifice his life for God, he pinned no hopes on men and entertained no fear of them. He reposed his entire trust in Allah. Having enslaved himself entirely to the will and pleasure of Allah, he did not care what hazards he would face and what suffering he would be subjected to at the hands of the idolators as a result of declaring to the world the message of the Unity of God.

When we examine with fairness and justice all the prophets of the past, we find that Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, the Holy Prophet of Islam, stands out as the most valiant among them, the one who fully possessed all the qualities of life and was the one most endeared to God.

The Holy Prophet, The Living Prophet
For all the children of Adam there is now no Messenger and intercessor other than the Holy Prophet Muhammad, the chosen one, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. So you should endeavor to cultivate true love for this magnificent and majestic Prophet and not place any one else above him in any manner so that you may be counted in Heaven among those who have attained salvation. Remember also that salvation is not something which is attainable only after death. Rather true salvation manifests its light in this world. Who is truly delivered? One who believes that God is Truth and that the Holy Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, is the intercessor between God and mankind; he also believes that under God’s command there is no book of the status of the Holy Quran. And for none else God proclaimed that he should live for ever with his message and his law, but this Noble Prophet lives for ever.

The Promised Messiah’s Poetry: Love and Devotion to the Prophet
The Promised Messiah Alaihislam also wrote many beautiful poems to express his love and devotion to the Holy Prophet of Islam. Here are a few samples:

To the soul of Muhammad,
I made my heart drink deep,

Our Perfect Leader
That leader of ours,
From whom radiates all light,
His name is Muhammad.
He is the one,
Who has captivated my heart.
All prophets are holy,
One better than the other.
From God on high he is,
The crown of all creatures.
Today he is the sovereign,
Of the world of religion,
The crown of all the Messengers.
The healthiest influence;
The purest, the most comely;
The most trustworthy,
The most dependable:
Allah this superlative praise,
Befits him alone.

Al-Qaseeda
The Promised Messiah has written very extensively, about his beliefs and his devotion to God Almighty and his love for the Holy Prophet, primarily in Urdu but also in Arabic and Persian languages to inform all Muslims about his claim and to show them back the way to Allah through true essence of Islam. Al-Qaseeda, a laudatory poem, is composed in flawless and fluent Arabic and is a literary masterpiece in honor of Khataman-Nabiyyeen. This encomium has 70 couplets and is included in the part of Roohani Khazain, Vol. 5, P. 590-594, A’eenae Kamalate Islam. No one has dared to accept a challenge from the Promised Messiah till this day to produce such glowing tribute to the Holy Prophet of Islam in such an eloquent and elegant diction. The Qaseeda provides a unique spiritual experience to a discerning critic with a longing heart and a keen eye.
The Promised Messiah’s face was glowing with joy, it is reported by his companions, when this Qaseeda was completed. Hazoor Aqdas addressing the Holy Prophet, conveys his salutations and love and obedience with such pathos and glowing tributes which has no parallel in human history. This empathy and the complete identification with the Holy Prophet of Islam in cause of Allah was the reason that the Holy Prophet is reported to have said that the Promised Messiah will reflect his second coming and will be buried in his grave. What a tribute! The Promised Messiah says (The number of couplet is given in the parenthesis at the end of the couplet):
O my beloved, you are the ending fountain-head of Allah’s blessings and knowledge and the whole humanity is now looking up to you to quench their spiritual thirst.(1)
Those who seek and discover that the cups of their life are empty come running towards the ocean of your blessings filled by Allah’s Grace.(2)
You are the spiritual sun who has brought light to the four corners of the world.(3)
Your face reflects the glory of Allah and His attributes find expression through your excellent character.(41)
Allah has bestowed upon you all the best and the highest qualities of man and He has perfected the gift of prophethood in your person as Khataman-Nabiyyeen.(46)
I have received the gift of spiritual life through you, O my Master and Perfect Leader, and I am nothing but your humble servant. What a miracle! How well he raised me to life.(62)
O Lord, My Creator, Your everlasting blessings be upon the Holy Prophet in this world and in the hereafter.(63)
Look at me, O My Master, with mercy and grace. I am your most humble servant.(67)
Now, no rational person will fail to recognize the truth about the Promised Messiah and his love for the Holy Prophet, khataman-nabiyyeen. The Promised Messiah appeared at the right time according to the prophecy of the Holy Prophet and completed his mission under Allah’s commands.
Ahmadiyya Beliefs
Every Ahmadi Muslim, by the grace of Allah, believes that Jesus (Hazrat Eesa, alaihissalaam) was a true and noble prophet of Allah and he died a natural death at the end of his term on this earth and is buried in Kashmir, India. How long the mullahs will continue to wait for `Messiah’ to descend from Heaven? Only Heaven knows! He never went up there with his physical body in the first place. Do they ever study and understand the Holy Quran?
It is also our true belief that the prophethood in Islam will continue as this view is supported by the Holy Quran, the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet and reliable Ahadith, and all early true reformers and thinkers in Islam preceding the advent of the Promised Messiah. The appearance of a follower (an ummati) Prophet is contained in the meanings of khataman-nabiyyeen. We believe that the Holy Prophet was so great that his followers can attain the status of prophethood in Islam because no new law is now needed. Our God is a living God and talks to His chosen ones even today.
Conclusion
Those people who falsely accuse Jamaat Ahmadiyya and its Holy Founder, Hazrat Promised Messiah, alaihissalaam, to be disrespectful to Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa, Khatamal-Anbiya, peace and blessings be upon him, do so without any fear of Allah in their hearts. For them it would be sufficient to quote the following verse of the Holy Quran:
Beware of the day of Judgment when We shall call people along with their leaders. Whoever is given the book recorded with his deeds in his right hand will be eager to read it and find that he will be dealt with mercy and justice. But whoever remained spiritually blind in this world shall also be blind in the Hereafter and will be even farther removed from the path leading to Allah. (17:72,73)
Promised Messiah Aversion to publicity:
As for me I was so absorbed in myself (in the remembrance of God) that I was living a life of seclusion; nothing was dear to my heart except He Himself. I did not like to come out of my room and not for a moment I wanted publicity for myself. I was all alone – and isolated – and that was all I liked most. Publicity and a Jamaat around were most averse to me. How much averse were these things to me is better known to God the Almighty. But God compelled me to come out. I did not like it, but He let it be done against my wish; for, He had assigned a duty to me. He chose me for His work and through His grace He honoured me with this great position. It is His own selection; I have no hand in this matter. What I could observe is that I wished to stay far away (as if it is miles and miles away) from publicity and from the people in the form of a Jamaat; I simply cannot understand how do the people hanker after publicity – I was drawn altogether to the other direction whereas God’s will was quite different. I supplicated to God repeatedly that I should be left in seclusion – in my room of aloofness. But I was repeatedly instructed by God to come out and work, for, the religion was in a very precarious condition at that time; I was told to come in the open and straighten the affairs of religion. The prophets are always like that – they are very much averse to publicity – no prophet has ever wished for it. The Holy Prophet (sallallaho alaihi wa sallam) also like to remain in a secluded place that is why he used to go to the cave Hira far away from the people. This cave was full of perils so much so that nobody dared go inside it but that is the place which he chose for himself; he did not like the publicity in the least. However, God commanded him in the words ‘Ya ayyohal Moddassiro qum fa anzir.’
There seems to be a sort of compulsion in this order from God Almighty and reason for this order from God is that the Holy Prophet (sallallaho alaihi wa sallam) did not like to come out of his seclusion. There are some people who out of their ignorance think that I like publicity. I have said it repeatedly that I do not like it, it is God who has brought me out in the open.
Status of people who reject The Messiah and the Mahdi:
‘From the beginning, I have been of the view that no one becomes kafir or dajjal by rejecting my claim. Such a one would certainly be in error and astray from the right path. I do not call him faithless but he who rejects the truth that God Almighty has disclosed to me would be in error and astray from the straight path. I do not designate anyone who believes in the Kalimah as a kafir, unless by rejecting me and calling me a kafir, he himself becomes a kafir. In this matter, my opponents have always taken the lead. They called me kafir and prepared edicts against me. I did not take the lead in preparing edicts against them. They would be prepared to confess that if I am a Muslim in the estimation of God Almighty, then by calling me kafir they themselves become kafirs according to the edict of the Holy Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be on him]. Thus, I do not call them kafir; they themselves fall within the purview of the edict of the Holy Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be on him]’.
