List of 100 Most Powerful Americans has at least 51 Jews

The Vanity Fair 100 most powerful AmericansIt is often alleged that the Americans are controlled by an invisible Jewish lobby, which tend to control decisions impacting the Jewish settlements world over and more specifically the Palestine conflict. Recently I stumbled across an article written by Joseph Aron in the Jewish World Review in October 2007.

He analyzes a list that was then recently published in the Vanity Fair October 2007 issue which ranked the 100 most powerful Americans at that time and to no surprise Joseph Aron counted 51 Jews on the list, giving the Jewish lobby a simple majority, and that only includes proper Jews, he admittedly did not count the non-Jews which are heavily influenced by the Jewish lobby he says…

The Wounds of Gaza – a report by two Medical Doctors

Two Surgeons from the UK, Dr Ghassan Abu Sittah and Dr Swee Ang, managed to get into Gaza during the Israeli invasion. They describe their experiences in a medical journal Lancet, share their views, and conclude that the people of Gaza are extremely vulnerable and defenseless in the event of another attack.

On the first day of the invasion, 250 persons were killed. Every single police station in Gaza was bombed killing large numbers of police officers. Having wiped out the police force attention was turned to non government targets.

As of 25 January 2009, the death toll was estimated at 1,350 with the numbers increasing daily. This is due to the severely wounded continuing to die in hospitals. 60% of those killed were children. The severely injured numbered 5,450, with 40% being children. These are mainly large burns and polytrauma patients. Single limb fractures and walking wounded are not included in these figures.

Through our conversations with doctors and nurses the word holocaust and catastrophe were repeatedly used. Many patients died in the Accident and Emergency Department while awaiting treatment.

The Oppressed Have Become the Oppressors

After the downfall of Nazi Germany, the German people “washed their hands” of any complicity in the Jewish extermination camps by pleading ignorance. Lower rank German soldiers excused themselves by saying that they were only following military orders! Today, in the Holy Land, the Zionist Jews, with the support of the majority of Israel’s population are themselves perpetuating a holocaust against the Palestinian people. After the bodies are counted and the atrocities documented, how will the Jews excuse themselves for committing these crimes against humanity?

It is collective punishment of a people and the murder of hundreds of Palestinian children and women is a policy of genocide!

Shoe hurled at Israeli ambassador in Sweden

A woman in Sweden has thrown a shoe at the Israeli ambassador Benny Degan and it him in the chest as he was giving a lecture on Israel’s forthcoming elections. While another person hurled two books but unfortunately missed the dignitary.

Ylva Kornheffer, a board member of the Stockholm Association of Foreign Affairs, the student association which organised the seminar, said she was “sitting in the front row and suddenly a shoe was flying over my head”. “The girl who threw the shoe asked the policemen to give it back to her. It was a red Nike shoe,” The motive was believed to be a protest against Israel’s policy toward the Palestinians.

The two protesters, who were shouting insults, were then escorted out of the room by police. They were taken to a local police station but were released after being questioned. – It seems the new lethal weapon of choice is the ‘SHOE’

UN retracts claim deadly Israeli strike hit Gaza school

The United Nations has retracted a claim that an Israeli strike which killed more than 40 people in northern Gaza city of Jabaliya last month on January 6th which had targeted a school run by a UN agency. The attack sparked an international uproar and the UN responded very strongly even the Secretary General Ban Ki Moon issued an official statement while the Human Rights Watch condemned the loss of innocent lives and urged for an immediate investigation

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said “The humanitarian coordinator would like to clarify that the shelling, and all of the fatalities, took place outside rather than inside the school. The Israeli military initially said its forces had responded to hostile fire from within the UN school but later reportedly retracted that statement.

Its sad to see that the UN has succumbed to the pressure from the Jewish lobby, imagine they overlook the fact that 40 innocent lives were lost in this attack on a mere technicality that it was ‘outside’ the school.

Michael Heart – Song for Gaza – We will not go down
My original intention to donate proceeds from the sale of the MP3 to charity has been complicated by technical matters; therefore, I have decided to make the song available free of charge. I would like to request that after downloading the song from this page, you kindly donate directly to a charity or an organization dedicated to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people. Worthy of note is UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East), which has been helping Palestinian refugees since their dispossession in 1949.

Outcry over Arms Shipment from US to Israel via Greece

Asteris Masouras a Global Voices blogger from Greece shares a very shocking report. With the war raging in Gaza, news reports emerge earlier this month about the routing of an extraordinarily large shipment of arms from the United States to Israel through the Greek port of Astakos caused an uproar among Greek bloggers. They rallied together, investigated the issue and were able to exert enough pressure on the Greek government to halt the transfer.

The story emerged initially via a Reuters news report on 9th January

Reuters 9th Jan: The U.S. is seeking to hire a merchant ship to deliver hundreds of tons of arms to Israel from Greece later this month, tender documents seen by Reuters show. The U.S. Navy’s Military Sealift Command (MSC) said the ship was to carry 325 standard 20-foot containers of what is listed as “ammunition” on two separate journeys from the Greek port of Astakos to the Israeli port of Ashdod in mid-to-late January. A “hazardous material” designation on the manifest mentions explosive substances and detonators, but no other details were given. “Shipping 3,000-odd tons of ammunition in one go is a lot,” one broker said, on condition of anonymity.

The ship hired by the MSC in December was for a much larger cargo of arms, tender documents showed. That stipulated a ship to be chartered for 42 days capable of carrying 989 standard 20-foot containers from Sunny Point, North Carolina to Ashdod. The tender document said the vessel had to be capable of “carrying 5.8 million pounds (2.6 million kg) of net explosive weight,” which specialist brokers said was a very large quantity.

In September, the U.S. Congress approved the sale of 1,000 bunker-buster missiles to Israel. The GPS-guided GBU-39 is said to be one of the most accurate bombs in the world. The Jerusalem Post, citing defense officials, reported last week that a first shipment of the missiles had arrived in early December and they were used in penetrating Hamas’s underground rocket launcher sites

Avaaz.org – STOP the bloodshed in Gaza

The bloodshed in Gaza is escalating while diplomats talk — the death toll now stands at over 600 people and rising, almost half of them civilians and over 100 children dead. As Israeli tanks, airplanes and artillery bombard thickly populated urban areas, hitting UN schools yesterday, thousands more have been injured and 1.5 million terrified civilians have no escape from this prison-like enclave — the borders have been sealed. Hamas continues to fight and fire rockets deep into Israel: 11 Israelis have died, including from friendly fire.

Poem For Barack, Michelle, Sasha, and Melia Obama

barak and michelle
m and i share your concern
for the privacy
and well being
of sasha and melia
may your children
get good education
and medical care
and grow up
balanced individuals
ready to take their place
in the affairs of our world
unlike the children in gaza

let me add briefly
am disappointed
at your silence
you did speak out
as president elect
on other issues
is apartheid,
ghettoisation
ethnic cleansing
and loss of civilian lives
not important for you?
