Khan and Supreme Court begin looking into Sharif’s Panama Clevage

Nawaz Sharif Panama LeaksMy Analysis – Imran Khan’s only crime is that he hypes up his momentum to such an extent that for the followers there is possibly no turning back – that is his style of aggressive politics – he believes in it truly down to his heart and then shares it with us all so convincingly, looking straight into the camera that the people love him for that…

He advocated “Investigate or Resign” from the very start – he got investigate – I think that was good … for Pakistan – because choosing the last resort of “resignation” … means bloodshed, military finger, unrest etc etc you can list out a gazillions more items – but to push the resignation button you have to be convincing enough of your threat to make that threat & its softer alternate a viable option – and he did that convincing enough

Who buckled – I think it was Sharif who buckled, as he has now been forced to let the SC take a sneak peak into his Panama Cleavage, which he was trying to hide for 7+ months and would played the tippy toe for another few years

Smuggling of Foreign Exchange Legalized by Nawaz Sharif in 1992

The bread crumbs of flight of money from Pakistan – aka Tax evasion starts from 1992 – during the 1st premiership of Nawaz Sharif. The act passed on 28th July 1992 – stipulates

4. FREEDOM TO BRING, HOLD, SELL AND TAKE OUT FOREIGN CURRENCY:-- All citizens of Pakistan resident in Pakistan or outside Pakistan and all other persons shall be entitled and free to bring, hold, sell, transfer and take out foreign exchange within or out of Pakistan in any form and shall not be required to make a foreign currency declaration at any stage nor shall any one be questioned in regard to the same. (ref link)

No wonder Ayan Ali was mistakenly caught red handed (or not) walking away with $500,000, and is pleading innocent and shall walk away free as a bird

How perfectly scripted – merely by adding only two words — “take out” — in this law it legitmizes the flight of capital from Pakistan to many offshore locations without paying a dime of tax. All scripted / camouflaged under the garb of “for the economic benefit of Pakistan” – confidence building measures to encourage free trade around the world — yeah right

There is NO DOUBT that all mentioned in the Panama Papers in Pakistan need to come clean on if these offshore accounts are legit or ill legal – it starts from them showing the source of the wealth and if the taxes have been paid for the specified income, as the PML media is trying to portray other individuals also being in the list – that does not in anyway absolve the responsibility of the Head of State to come clean on this and show his innocence as and where possible.

ECP Grave for Extra Ballot printing papers digs deeper from Zero to 9.3 Million

Quite shockingly the more you dig into the ECP hoping to expose the facts of this esteemed organisation entrusted to conduct Free and Fair elections – is fudging numbers – how can on 11th August 2014 ECP is on record to say

Tribune – 11th August: They refuted allegations that ballot papers were printed through private contractors or that even excess ballot papers were printed. They said that there was no question of extra ballot papers being printed, which were printed by a governmental organisation. They added that the provincial election commission did even add one extra ballot paper.

On 28th November responding to PTI’s allegation that 5.5 Million ECP is on record to raise the extra-ballots printing bar from Zero to 0.8 million

The News – 28th November: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has said that in the general elections 2013, only 800,000 additional ballot papers were printed and that too due to technical reasons.

And finally 3 days later on December 1st the extra ballots increase from 0.8 million to 9.3 million

Geo News – 1st December: According to the details, 8.34 million additional ballot papers were printed in the general elections of 1997, 9.4 million in 1999, 9 million in 2008 and 9.3 million in the elections of 2013.

Please ReTweet ECP on 10 Aug 14: No extra ballot papers printed ECP on 28 Nov 14: 8 lac printed ECP on 1 Dec 14: 93 lac printed

— Dr. Arif Alvi (@ArifAlvi) December 1, 2014

10 Aug story ECP stated that No extra ballot papers wer http://t.co/6BwypxpvS2 they admit 9.3 m ECP fraud Plz Retweet http://t.co/uFE4sDywrL

— Dr. Arif Alvi (@ArifAlvi) December 1, 2014

So in a span of 113 days each on the insistence and reactionary response to Imran Khan’s allegations of rigging the ECP has stumbled into correcting its own lies one after the other, how can facts of extra ballots differ by a mammoth 9.3 Million – a free and fair elections need to document in black and white and present fact in a total unbiased and fair manner – ECP should not be the political voice of the elected status quo, but the genuine voice in protecting the fundamental right of the people of Pakistan ie their right to vote

Nawaz Sharif’s – Defeatist Body Language

The fundamentals of good leadership is to present yourself with a positive and confident body language, be it limited to mere visual optics, but every public opportunity one needs to be on-top of his game and each photograph taken should portray confidence combined with the subtleties of a good tailored suit, well groomed hair and even if need be a dash of good makeup.  All these subtle tactics present the leader well, even if its only for sake of mere pictures

Sadly, every time the people of Pakistan have seen their Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in public and specifically on the global stage, quite shockingly he has come forth with a weak and a defeatist body language, slouched shoulders, fumbling words, mindlessly gazing into thin air, oft caught with a worried & tense frown, very rarely even a smile?  The subtle message coming through the camera lens is of a stressed out leader, leading a failed state.  Granted I may have a bias against him, but I still do remain a Pakistani and he represents my country on the global stage.

Sparing a few scattered “good-PR” shots, most images that end up being circulated, even by the media houses (Dawn, Tribune, SamaaTV), reflect the mindset of an uninspiring leader, if that alone was the problem it may have been ok, but when he goes to speak, then again the potential for a possible inspirational magic dissipates into thin air, for example a few months back during his joint press conference with the US President Obama at the White House, he as seen to be shuffling ragged pieces of paper, honestly there is no harm in carrying notes, but at this global stage the stakes for visual optics are high and a genuine leaders rises up to the occasion, others flounder in search of glory, and the Pakistani Prime Minister did a massive belly flop, in search of glory.

JKT refutes Pervaiz Rasheed’s baseless accusations, with Evidence

On Sunday during the coverage of PTI Jalsa in Gujranwala, Pakistan Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed addressed a press conference accusing PTI / Imran Khan and specifically PTI Secretary General Jahangir Tareen for misusing his public limited company JDW aircraft for personal usage of Imran Khan to commute across the country for his campaigning.

Perviaz Rasheed went on record to accuse that JKT nor PTI had paid for the travel and instead the expenses were borne by the shareholders of the public limited company.   The hour long press conference by the Information Minister (preferably known as DisInformation Minister) was taken at face value by the media and run by all media houses as a genuine fact driven accusation.

Within an hour, JKT immediately countered the accusations on twitter

“Pillars of Clay” by Fahd Husain

Fahd Husain writes an op-ed in Express Tribune — These two paragraphs are worth reading — “Don’t blame democracy or dictatorship or even the system that remains the same regardless of who is at the top. Blame the fact that we are missing the fundamental element of a representative system: the individual is the foundation

If you wait for this manipulative system to reform itself, you are in for a long wait. If you think these rulers — all of them — will suddenly grow a revolutionary brain, you need to see a shrink. This, my friends, ain’t happening. The increasingly aware citizenry — yes you — will have to make a collective heave to push the fat cats out, and reclaim this glorious nation that the Quaid gave to you — not to them” Read the entire op-ed at ET “Pillars of clay

Another rigged election?

Rigged Elections in PakistanGuest Blog by By M. Fahid Saleem

These are the most important elections in the history of country, this will determine the destiny of Pakistan” said different politician and pundits before elections. Unfortunately, the post election debate which should have been focused on its results and its policy implication on Pakistan’s future is surrounded by rigging allegations by every party (PML in Sindh, JUI-F in KPK, Nationalist in Baluchistan and Sindh, PTI in Punjab, PPP in Punjab and other provinces, JI in Karachi etc.)

So much have been written and shown on TV however ECP is convinced that these were free and fair elections. As a business student I did some analysis on election results of ten seats in Lahore (NA-118 to NA-127).

Total number of register voters in most of these ten national assembly seats have no difference with the total number of register voters in their respective provincial assembly seats except in three constituencies (NA-123, NA-124 & NA-126). Number of registered voters in these NA constituencies is greater than their respective provincial seats (68, 2590, 150 respectively). However, unfortunately there is not a single constituency where total number of votes polled for NA is equal to its respective provincial seats. Difference ranges from minus 7055 (Votes polled on respective pp seats are more than that of NA seat) to positive 2841 (Votes polled on NA seat is more than its respective provincial seats). Though the total number of votes polled on most of NA seats were more than their respective PP seats except in case of NA-125 and NA-127, where total votes polled at NA are less than their respective PP seats (4600 and 7055 respectively). Every voter polls two votes, one for NA seat and other one for provincial seat; it means total number of votes polled in NA should be equal to their respective provincial assembly seats. How is this possible a person voted for provincial candidates but not for NA candidates and vice versa? I think ECP is in the best position to answer this question.

PML Family Prepares to Serves itself Justice

Observe how PML Family prepares to serve itself justice by quickly moping up cases against themselves just as they come into power

The judges overseeing the Sharif family cases of Hudabiya Mills, Raiwind Mansion and Ittefaq Foundaries, are suddenly removed and proceedings delayed since no replacement judge is available to overseeing these issues

A mini story appears on the backpage of Express (29th May) almost as an after thought – http://bit.ly/111Y3jN

PML partnering with ASWJ for 15 election seats

Lej and PMLWhile the Federal government wants the Punjab government to launch a massive crackdown on the Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) and defunct Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP) for the Shia Hazara Killings in Quetta – the Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif is unlikely to oblige. The main reason is a seat-to-seat adjustment deal between the PML-N and Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) for the upcoming elections on at least 15 seats of the National Assembly from South Punjab where they would not field candidates against each other. The News LINK: Punjab govt may not act against LeJ PML-N has seat adjustments with defunct SSP

PML Blooper Cell Photoshops Crowds for Shahbaz Sharif

Printed in the Lahore edition of Express Urdu & also in NawaiWaqt Lahore on 21st Feb 2013 – It seems that PML Media cell found it embarrassing to promote a barren picture of a rally and felt the need to manipulate the image and then fool the news-desks to report these images on the front pages of their respective newspapers in Lahore – When one comes across the actual picture its hilarious to note how desperate PML-N is to appease itself to the Lahore crowd that it is popular when in fact its a far cry from a house full “Mammoth rally”

Another case of Lifafah Blooperism Exposed – enjoy the laughs

UPDATE: To add more authenticity of the UNdoctored image – we were able to locate the undoctored image published in the 21st Feb edition of Naibaat Newspaper on its back page

“Staged Photoshoot” Blooper by Drama-e-Ala

A Set of images floated by PML-N Social Media team trying to show Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif standing amongst the people buying a Metro Ticket himself. Rummaging through the album posted on the Chief Ministers Facebook page some observant PTI supporters spotted an interesting blooper – two pictures caught their attention where Shahbaz Sharif is standing in line – the adjacent picture then shows the lineup jumbled up

Observe the shuffled subjects namely A-B-C-D

Subject A – moves from being in front of the line to being behind the Chief Minister
Subject B – The Chief Minister himself moves backward in the line (notice that he is standing ahead of the glass door in the first picture but in the next picture he moves behind it?
Subject C – Disappears from the line
Subject D – Being absent in the first picture emerges to the front of the line

It is evident that this was a photoshoot session was geared up for the Chief Minister to be seen promoting his humbleness it seems that after the first picture the subjects were called to reassemble in line and a few accidentally forgot their lineup – most bystanders would fall for this trickery but two accidentally posted images prove that this is an orchestrated shoot – Another example of a Drama by Drama-e-Ala

CM Shahbaz exploits Punjab Govt websites for his own popularity

CM Shahbaz exploits Gov of Punjab website to promote his own Facebook pageCM Shahbaz Sharif continues to use Government websites to Promote His own Facebook and Twitter Profiles via ProPakistani

It maybe recalled that the Facebook page and Twitter Profile in question are personal properties of Mr. Shahbaz, that he will retain even after completing his service term. Instead of encouraging all these provincial government departments to have their own social media profiles, so that users may follow their updates and they may retain accounts even after the government is over, Mr. Sharif opted to promote his own profiles as if these government websites are his personal perperties.”

It should be recalled that previously in June 2012 we had reported on our blog : PML-N’s – ‘Like’ my Facebook page News Item [DELETED] an Express Tribune news report which reported that “the Punjab government issued a letter, sent to all officers, requesting them to join Shahbaz’s official webpage and to train themselves in social media networking” this news report was forcilbly deleted from the online edition of the newspaper apparently becuase of of Govt of Punjab pressure to suppress this humiliating news report – but todays evidence goes on to further reinforce that PML and Shahbaz Sharif is eager to aggregate clicks by any mean whatsoever instead of reinforcing institutions these government organizations are busy promoting the re-election of PML and Shahbaz Sharif – Simply said old habit of bending the rules,,,, die hard

ProPakistani Report: Shahbaz Sharif Uses Dozens of Government Websites to Promote His Facebook and Twitter Profiles

Nawaz Sharif exploiting Punjab Govt resources

Prime example as to how Nawaz Sharif, who does not hold any office in the Government of Punjab, is using PUNJAB GOVT resources to run & manage his own (PML-N) Election Campaign.

The use of Punjab Government helicopter should be for the sole purpose of Punjab Govt Employees and not for any family member to help them attend party Jalsa that have nothing to do with the official govt of Punjab specially not to assist them in running an election campaign – Ironic is the fact that on one hand Nawaz Sharif & PML-N want to inspire a Khud dar & Khud Mukhtar Pakistan but just looking at this picture it show how unabashedly they misuse public funds for their own personal gains without a shadow of guilt.

Honestly, If they can’t respect the importance of Public Funds now, how does one expect them to reform to a Khud Muktar Pakistan – Sharifs have been in some form of power since 1980’s and have extensively misused their offices for their personal gains – its a fact old habit and old habits die hard – via Facebook

Express Tribune deletes another PML-N exposé News Item

On 27th July – an article appeared on the back page of the newspaper titled Web presence: Punjab govt footing bill for PML-N social media revamp after it remained online for the entire day around 10pm that evening the article was suddenly deleted, and no explanation given as to why, the web editors of the Express Tribune chose to delete this post

Almost a month back on June 6th, Express Tribune had published an article titled PML-N’s – ‘Like’ my Facebook page News Item, after a few hours the web editors deleted the online edition without any reason. It seems there is a definite attempt by Express to be influenced by PML and its team of hired media houses to ensure that no bad publicity appears on its papers.

The focus of the article is on the hiring of the social media team, but what has not been exposed is the upsurge of all the TV ads & all the Newspaper adverts that have started populating the airwaves ALL are being funded by YOUR TAX MONEY positioned as Govt ads only to promote Sharif [PML] & Zardari [PPP]. One does wonder BOTH have made enough money in ALL their tenures combined that they could easily “invest” in their future turn of power – but their old corrupt habits continue. They use your money to reposition themselves as saviors of Pakistan for re-election.

An exposé of their activities was revealed at the Pakistan Social Media Gate blog which has a video and itemized screen captures.

For the sake of online posterity I hearby again reproduce the contents of the deleted article, so that the digital footprint does not disappear into oblivion
