Imran Khan has been a strong proponent of having peace talks with the Talibans for over 8 years, to an extent that these politicans accused him of being a Taliban Sympathizer and branded him as Taliban Khan. Now it seems everyone PPP, ANP & more recently Nawaz Sharif has accepted the fact that there must be some Peace Talks with the Talibans to help solve this terrorism issue out. Might it be Khan’s turn and say, I told you so, its sad that these spineless politicians (PML, PPP, JUI, ANP & MQM) appeased the Americans for five years allowing them to destroy and ravage Pakistan but now as the local elections are looming around the corner the same politicians have flipped over to strategically position themselves as peace brokers only so that they can fool people to vote for them. Shame on these two timing politicians

A cartoon caricature of Mualana Fazal ur Rehman was forcibly removed from an art exhibition at Nishtar Hall Gallery as it was being displayed in the 10-day exhibition Face Off. The image created by Nida and Saima from the Department of Fine Arts, University of Peshawar said it was an artistic attempt and everyone should have at least some guts to accept it.
News reports also suggested that another artist by the name of Syed Saifuddin also had his portrait removed a day earlier on the smiliar grounds.
It seems Maulana Fazl Ur Rehman is even offended by being displayed as a genie which as per legend you can rub either way and the genie shall perform as you beckon. With Maualana Sb’s typical to and fro political swaying, I believe this cartoon is a true representation of his political incompetence. So hence forth I believe Pakistanis now have another joke to tease Maulana sb with, the acronym Genie Diesel perfectly embodies this inept politician
Watch this last minute of this CNN Interview (4:34) with Prime Minister “Con-Air” Gilani and pray tell me how on earth do we have an idiot like him as our Prime Minister
Pay close attention to the very last question – When Gilani was asked that one out of third Pakistanis want to leave the country due to rampant corruption, injustice and other issues to which he replies “Why don’t they leave then. Who is stopping them.”
At hearing PM’s response quite literally the anchors jaw drops in bewilderment – then I think moments later Gilani realized his goof-up and his constipated facial expression almost wishes he could rewind and plead the fifth.

At an event to honor Secretary of State Mrs Hilary Clinton a women stands up to say “We all know that the whole of Pakistan is facing the brunt of whatever is happening and trying to cooperate with the U.S., and somehow the U.S. is like a mother-in-law which is just not satisfied with us,” said Shamama
“We are trying to please you, and every time you come and visit us you have a new idea and tell us, ‘You are not doing enough and need to work harder,’” – LINK

—– UPDATE —–
About 10 minutes after I posted this blog post on Facebook somebody marked this URL [http://teeth.com.pk/blog/2010/12/27/burka-women-funny-or-offensive] as SPAM preventing me to repost this on my facebook wall, what is interesting that someone is definitely offended enough to mark it as spam without so much as discussing the issue and arguing his own side.

Ufone has to its credit featured some funny advertisement spot for its TV commercials. More recently a certain Ufone ad was pulled off-the-air after a very brief run and is not even featured on its corporate website. As per the editors of Cafe Pyala this ad spot might have been too quickly pulled off-air “According to sources, the following Ufone ad was pulled off air (after a short run) because of grumblings from Those Who Matter over its portrayal of politicos”.
UPDATE 13th Feb: Foreign Policy Magazine which was first to break the story on 3rd February has issued a clarification that this story is might be untrue “The story turns out to be false: Mr. Zeb has responded, saying that the press reports are nothing more than a practical joke someone played on the Internet.” He goes on to clarify that his name, originally spelled Zaib but was changed by his family to Zeb, means “someone with good countenance,” Ambassador Zeb denies that he was ever considered for an ambassadorial position in Saudi Arabia”
This news story is just too hilarious too pass up. I have just read this on Cafe Pyala where Ambassador Miangul Akbar Zeb reportedly cannot receive accreditation as Pakistan’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia. The reason, apparently, has nothing to do with his credentials, and everything to do with his name — which, in Arabic, translates to “biggest dick” reportedly Pakistan had previously floated Zeb’s name as ambassador to the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, only to have him rejected for the same reason
Akbar Zib is no newcomer to politics, this long-ranging high level diplomat has worked with some of the largest members of world governments, he most recently served as High Commissioner Designate of Pakistan to Canada, and prior to that he was the ambassador of Pakistan to South Africa,. He also served in that capacity in Washington from 1983-87, and New Delhi from 1994-2000. Seriously I have no disrespect for the honorable diplomat, but he sure has his prospects limited to serving Pakistan at a non-Arabic mission

A short video clip of Mr. Asif Ali Zardari telling a heckler to “shut up” is hilarious. One must admit that the timing of the comment is truly priceless, Zardari was in mid-stream delivering his speech “What has happened to this democracy ……. Shut up” – Only when you watch the short section will you then start to wonder on a tangential note if he too has delivered a striking blow to democracy in Pakistan which has hallmarks of rampant and ruthless corruption like never seen before. Is a new five-part series of short online video clips of five muslims managing a Bradford [UK] based terror cell. Initially set on a path to martyrdom, these jihadi warriors discover that the West isn’t as bad as it seems. Tempted by the likes of Manchester United, Cable TV and even hot looking girl upstairs, they debate the awaited Paradise in the arms of seventy-two virgins or is Shangri-La more closer to home.
As up until now three videos have been released [2-parts] and they are hilarious, do watch these clips but at the same time I’d like to voice a word of caution to any fundos who might take these jokes a tad-bit too seriously, if you are offended by such poking fun, please don’t burn down the Union Jack just yet, instead it’d serve humanity better if you would kindly stay off the Internet
