Long Live Pak Armed Forces

The tragic occurrence happened in Gayari sector, Siachen Pakistan, is no doubt a heartbreaking one. But this does not imply to blame Pak Armed Forces therefor. Doing so is more tragic than the tragic incident and amounts to scratching the wounds of our Armed Forces. Nonetheless our pseudo & ignorant intellectuals are doing the same!!!

All that has been done by Pak Armed Forces in so far against India is concerned has never been Pak Armed Forces choice; rather it has always been their duty.  It have never been Pakistan armed Forces who have acted against India, it have always been India Hindus who have either directly or indirectly acted against Pakistan and our brave Pakistan Armed Forces has reacted simply against India at the minimum level to counter them.

It were Indian Hindus who occupied the Princely State of Jammu & Kashmir in 1947-1948 and the Muslim Masses along with Pakistani Pakhtun reacted thereagainst due to Pakistan first COAS, Gen Douglas Gracey’s conspirative denial and when they were knocking suburbs of Srinagar, the first Hindu PM, Nehru went weepingly before the UNSC, begging for cease fire vehemently and UNSC passed resolutions for plebiscite in J&K to be carried out under the UN auspices.

In 1965 too it were Indian Hindus who without declaration of war attacked Pakistan and when the brave Pak Armed Forces proven their mettle the Indian PM, Lal Bahadur Shastri went to Tashkent crying for cease fire.

In 1971 also again it were Indian Hindus who attacked East Pakistan with USSR & US shenanigans and dismembered Pakistan due to our charlatan leadership.

In 1984 again it were Indian Hindus who stealthily occupied Siachen Glaciers and Pak Armed Forces resultantly engaged them there & then.

And when Pakistan tried to counter the Hindus in Kargil in 1999 our strategic foes; the US & UK applied all pressure against us and in favour of them.

Pak Armed Forces have accomplished the mission impossible by nuclearizing Pakistan and it’s our Nuclear Teeth that we have tamed the Indian Hindus to a crucial level!!!

Who Watches the Watchmen? on Drone Warfare

A though provoking post by Kulsom from Changing up Pakistan she writes … the issue of drones goes beyond the issue of legality. It touches on the progression of warfare as a whole. Arguably the foundation of international law, is really being compromised in favor of the arbitrarily defined “greater good.”

This is not to say that human beings do not play a significant role in today’s conflicts. But is the “automation” of warfare something that should concern us. As we become more detached and more removed, are we losing touch with the humanity of warfare. Civilian casualties become dots on a computer screen, the collateral damage of the “best worst option.” And we in turn become increasingly distanced from the reasons why we engage in conflict in the first place. nevertheless. Save the Nukes

In the past few days I and perhaps many of you have felt exactly the same as we felt 40 years ago in December 1971, when Gen Niazi surrendered to the Indian Army. Some of you were not even born, so lucky you, but most of this group had to face such a humiliation for the second time. But this the beginning of the end. The way things are going, very soon we will face yet another humiliation when the Nucs are taken away by shadowy figures in a dark night.

People in the PAF Air Defence command claim that they had no coverage on the Western sector. My question to them; This Nation is not blaming you for not detecting the incoming attack, what we blame you for is WHY WERE THE SEALS PERMITTED TO LEAVE ? Why not a single bullet was fired? For which sufficient warning was available. Some people say that 2 PAF F-16s were airborne but they were not allowed to engage. If that is the case then come out and inform the Nation. What are you afraid of?

The next question is that why do they claim that our nuclear assets are well guarded. In fact they even have the tenacity to claim this today. If such corridors exist, then how are the Nukes safe? We all know that the enemy will never come from the route where you are well prepared. It is a very basic issue but perhaps the brains of the defenders are clouded with Estate & Plot managements.

Aman Ki Asha – An Indo Pak Peace Project ?

India is preparing for a possible “two-front war” with China and Pakistan, Geo News quoted an Indian newspaper as saying on Wednesday, The News reported … something not new, Indian Establishment has been directly or indirectly showing hostility against Pakistan since Mumbai incident and yet we have this ‘Aman ki Asha’ thing going on, communicating (read conditioning) the already dazzled Pakistani masses to have a very friendly perception of their neighbors, whose involvement in the Karachi Ashura incident and Bolton Market Tragedy cannot also be ruled out, let alone in the Indian’s Involvement in Waziristan, frequent cross of fire at boarders etc  … and amidst of all this we have this Aman Ki Asha campaign only adding to the list of questions one might have against the intentions of our capricious (not quite though) neighbor …

I haven’t seen all the ads of this strange campaign, but this one is telling …

List of 100 Most Powerful Americans has at least 51 Jews

The Vanity Fair 100 most powerful AmericansIt is often alleged that the Americans are controlled by an invisible Jewish lobby, which tend to control decisions impacting the Jewish settlements world over and more specifically the Palestine conflict. Recently I stumbled across an article written by Joseph Aron in the Jewish World Review in October 2007.

He analyzes a list that was then recently published in the Vanity Fair October 2007 issue which ranked the 100 most powerful Americans at that time and to no surprise Joseph Aron counted 51 Jews on the list, giving the Jewish lobby a simple majority, and that only includes proper Jews, he admittedly did not count the non-Jews which are heavily influenced by the Jewish lobby he says…

UN retracts claim deadly Israeli strike hit Gaza school

The United Nations has retracted a claim that an Israeli strike which killed more than 40 people in northern Gaza city of Jabaliya last month on January 6th which had targeted a school run by a UN agency. The attack sparked an international uproar and the UN responded very strongly even the Secretary General Ban Ki Moon issued an official statement while the Human Rights Watch condemned the loss of innocent lives and urged for an immediate investigation

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said “The humanitarian coordinator would like to clarify that the shelling, and all of the fatalities, took place outside rather than inside the school. The Israeli military initially said its forces had responded to hostile fire from within the UN school but later reportedly retracted that statement.

Its sad to see that the UN has succumbed to the pressure from the Jewish lobby, imagine they overlook the fact that 40 innocent lives were lost in this attack on a mere technicality that it was ‘outside’ the school.

Michael Heart – Song for Gaza – We will not go down
My original intention to donate proceeds from the sale of the MP3 to charity has been complicated by technical matters; therefore, I have decided to make the song available free of charge. I would like to request that after downloading the song from this page, you kindly donate directly to a charity or an organization dedicated to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people. Worthy of note is UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East), which has been helping Palestinian refugees since their dispossession in 1949.

Support the release of Israeli Shministim’s

Shministim – are 16, 17, 18 and 19 year old students studying in the 12th grade – these are a new breed of conscientious objectors in Israel and right now they are taking a stand. They believe in a better, more peaceful future for themselves and for Israelis and Palestinians, and they are refusing to join the Israeli army. They’re in jail, holding strong against immense pressure from family, friends and the Israeli government.

Outcry over Arms Shipment from US to Israel via Greece

Asteris Masouras a Global Voices blogger from Greece shares a very shocking report. With the war raging in Gaza, news reports emerge earlier this month about the routing of an extraordinarily large shipment of arms from the United States to Israel through the Greek port of Astakos caused an uproar among Greek bloggers. They rallied together, investigated the issue and were able to exert enough pressure on the Greek government to halt the transfer.

The story emerged initially via a Reuters news report on 9th January

Reuters 9th Jan: The U.S. is seeking to hire a merchant ship to deliver hundreds of tons of arms to Israel from Greece later this month, tender documents seen by Reuters show. The U.S. Navy’s Military Sealift Command (MSC) said the ship was to carry 325 standard 20-foot containers of what is listed as “ammunition” on two separate journeys from the Greek port of Astakos to the Israeli port of Ashdod in mid-to-late January. A “hazardous material” designation on the manifest mentions explosive substances and detonators, but no other details were given. “Shipping 3,000-odd tons of ammunition in one go is a lot,” one broker said, on condition of anonymity.

The ship hired by the MSC in December was for a much larger cargo of arms, tender documents showed. That stipulated a ship to be chartered for 42 days capable of carrying 989 standard 20-foot containers from Sunny Point, North Carolina to Ashdod. The tender document said the vessel had to be capable of “carrying 5.8 million pounds (2.6 million kg) of net explosive weight,” which specialist brokers said was a very large quantity.

In September, the U.S. Congress approved the sale of 1,000 bunker-buster missiles to Israel. The GPS-guided GBU-39 is said to be one of the most accurate bombs in the world. The Jerusalem Post, citing defense officials, reported last week that a first shipment of the missiles had arrived in early December and they were used in penetrating Hamas’s underground rocket launcher sites

Rudderless Invasions: Wasted Lives and Opportunities

Guest Post by Temporal who blogs at Baithak

A Palestinian woman with severe facial injuries from a Dime bombIsrael has agreed to another unilateral ceasefire – like Sharon did in Lebanon – to be broken at will some time in the future.

The costs are well known:

  • Over 1200 dead Palestinians a majority of them civilians.
  • Billions of dollars worth of infrastructure destroyed
  • US arms used
  • Banned substances used
  • It failed in its state objective to crush Hamas

Israel was facing demands for war crimes investigations as it declared a unilateral ceasefire in Gaza last night after a 22-day assault in which more than 1,200 Palestinians, a third of them children, were killed and 13 Israelis died. Erik Fosse, a Norwegian doctor who worked in Gaza’s hospitals during the conflict, said that Israel was using so-called Dime (dense inert metal explosive) bombs designed to produce an intense explosion in a small space. The bombs are packed with tungsten powder, which has the effect of shrapnel but often dissolves in human tissue, making it difficult to discover the cause of injuries. Raymond Whitaker
